Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this paper is to know the criteria of rainfall which is one of the climatic parameters that occur in Cilacap waters (low, medium, high, very high criteria). The method in this study is a combination of survey and literature review. In this study the authors take the location in the waters of Cilacap. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Cilacap Regency. The data sample used is statistical data within 5 year period starting from 2012 until 2016. Based on data analysis that has been done, that is grouping or classification of the biggest rainfall data in the period of 5 years (2012-2016) obtained by detailed data that is : In 2012 the largest monthly rainfall occurred in November of 124.0 mm including the middle criteria; In 2013 the largest monthly rainfall occurred in June of 96.6 mm which included low criteria; By 2014 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in July at 194.0 mm which includes medium criteria; By 2015 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in December of 132.0 mm which includes medium criteria; In 2016 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in October of 181.0 mm which includes medium criteria. Based on the details of the data, it can be concluded that the largest monthly rainfall as a parameter of climate in Cilacap waters is included in the middle criteria.

Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this study is to analyze the perceptions of vocational high school students regarding the application of science (physics) in the fields of maritime, medicine, and technology. The method in this research is a combination of survey and literature review. In this study the authors took the location at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. Learning outcomes in the affective domain were obtained using a maritime study questionnaire. The instrument used was a maritime study questionnaire in the affective domain. Broadly speaking, data on the level of perception related to the application of Physics Science in the fields of maritime, medicine, and technology is obtained, which is 91% of the total. So it can be stated that almost some students have positive perceptions regarding the application of Physics Science in the fields of maritime, medicine, and technology. The analysis used is Descriptive Statistics Frequencies. Standard deviation comparison. The comparison results show that the empiric standard deviation (s = 1.982) is lower than the hypothetical standard deviation (σ = 5). This shows that the perception of vocational high school students regarding the application of science (physics) in the fields of maritime, medicine, and technology has a low variation. In other words, the perceptions of the subjects with one another are similar or uniform. Based on the analysis and discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the perceptions of SMK students regarding the application of Science (physics) in the fields of Maritime, Medicine and Technology are similar or uniform. This means that vocational students generally have the same perception regarding the application of Science (physics) in the fields of Maritime, Medicine, and Technology.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran penerapan metodestudent centered learning tipe small group discussion dalam pembelajaran fisika terapan taruna teknika nautika. Metode pada kajian ini yakni survei serta kajian literatur. Obyek penelitian yaitu taruna program studi teknika dan nautika AMN Cilacap. Hasil belajar pada ranah psikomotorik diperoleh melalui metode diskusi. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan media google classroom. Berdasarkan tampilan pada setiap gambar, dideskripsikan langkah small group discussion pada pembelajaran fisika terapan teknika nautika. Langkah 1 sampai 6 terlihat pada gambar 1 hingga 17. Pada kelas Teknika terlihat pada gambar 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 10. Sedangkan pada kelas Nautika terlihat pada gambar 5, 6, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17. Pembelajaran fisika terapan pada kelas Nautika lebih antusias dan aktif menggunakan small group discussion, sedangkan pada kelas Teknika terlihat standar (pada umumnya). Setelah dilakukan analisis serta pembahasan, disimpulkan metode student centered learning tipe small group discussion dalam pembelajaran fisika terapan taruna teknika nautika dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan 6 langkah dalam small group discussion.

Abstract

Adanya pandemi memberikan dampak terhadap bidang pendidikan yakni kegiatan belajar mengajar dilaksanakan pendidik serta peserta didik, sehingga kedua belah pihak harus mampu beradaptasi dengan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, selain itu pihak sekolah serta lingkungan belajar memberikan andil dalam proses adaptasi. Tujuan kajian ini yakni menganalisis adaptasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi dalam menghadapi pandemi covid-19. Kajian berikut menggunakan metode berupa descriptive content analysis study. Analisis dilaksanakan melalui berbagai artikel ilmiah terkait adaptasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19. Artikel ilmiah didapatkan dari jurnal nasional serta beragam referensi sejenis lainnya. Hasil kajian menunjukkan adaptasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi dalam menghadapi pandemi Covid-19 dalam berbagai bentuk antara lain a) kesiapan SDM: Pendidik memberikan materi melalui media online google classroom, google meet, zoom, google form, youtube, peserta didik menerima materi menggunakan media sejenis yang diberikan Pendidik. b). Kesiapan materi pembelajaran: materi dikemas secara menarik, mudah dipahami dalam berbagai bentuk seperti power point, video pembelajaran/praktikum. c). Kesiapan model pembelajaran relevan yakni model pembelajaran berbasis student centered, pembelajaran berpusat pada siswa dengan materi yang dikemas Guru berbentuk video, siswa mengembangkannya menggunakan berbagai sumber, kemudian mengkaitkannya antara permasalahan dan teori. d). Kesiapan fasilitas pembelajaran berbasis IT: pendidik, peserta didik, pihak sekolah, lingkungan belajar memerlukan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis online dengan jaringan internet stabil, leptop , hand phone, kuota internet. Kendala utama pada proses adaptasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi yakni kesiapan sarana dan prasarana berupa terbatasnya perangkat leptop, hand phone, kuota internet. Hal ini membutuhkan kerjasama berbagai pihak yang terlibat dalam dunia pendidikan sebagai adaptasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi dalam menghadapi Pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

Energy needs are one of the reasons why research on renewable energy is the choice. One of the renewable energies is OTEC (ocean thermal energy conversion) with sea surface heat being an energy source and boilers being a medium for converting heat energy into motion energy so that in the end it becomes electrical energy. Boilers are a vital part of a generator, so boiler testing is a requirement for a generator. The research was carried out by experiment by testing the boiler with various temperatures and pressures so as to produce output power. The results show that temperature and pressure are highly correlated with output power. The application of OTEC shows that temperature and pressure are things that must be considered, the higher the surface temperature, the greater the output power.

Abstract

The application of problem solving methods in applied physics lectures for nautical engineering cadets, this is studied because the descriptions obtained can later be relevant to the results and learning motivation towards the digital transformation era in the future, so that there is hope for the continuity of the mind set as well as the choice of using strategies and learning media that can be used. for the next study. The purpose of the following study is to describe the application of problem solving methods in applied physics lectures for nautical engineering cadets. The method used is a survey, literature review. The object of research is the cadets of the engineering study program, Nautical AMN Cilacap. Psychomotor aspects of learning outcomes obtained through the method of discussion, observation. The study instrument is the google classroom media. According to the display in each picture, the problem solving stage is described in the applied physics course in nautical engineering. Stages 1 to 4 are described in Figures 1 to 10. The Engineering class is shown in Figures 1, 4, 5, 7, 9. The Nautical class is described in Figures 2, 6, 8, 10. Applied physics courses in the Engineering and Nautical classes have applied the method Problem Solving. The Teknika class is more detailed, detailed and neat in solving problems using problem solving methods, while the Nautika class looks standard (in general). After carrying out the analysis and discussion, it was concluded that the problem solving method in applied physics lectures for cadets of nautical engineering could be applied according to 4 stages of problem solving

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the results of students' cognitive tests on energy using the Quizizz application in online learning. This research method is in the form of survey research and literature review. Sampling was carried out using random sampling in order to obtain 28 vocational students in the physics subject matter of energy, but two of them experienced problems so that they could not take the test of learning outcomes in energy material. The analysis of cognitive test results is described quantitatively with descriptions of images and graphs of media Quizzes. The results showed that as many as 26 SMK students could answer questions correctly on the energy material in some of the questions presented. The analysis of the most correct answers and the fastest time to answer is in the fifth question, 25 correct answers are obtained within 2 seconds, while the least correct answers and the longest answer are in the tenth question with 8 correct answers within 16 seconds. Students can answer questions in the form of theory that are displayed in picture form, while students have difficulty answering questions in the form of mathematical calculations using certain formulas related to energy even though the pictures have been shown as a way to facilitate understanding of the questions. In conclusion, the use of the Quizizz application provides an idea to educators that the learning outcomes of students' cognitive tests can be easily obtained in a fast time to get an evaluation of learning outcomes, so it can be recommended as a medium for evaluating learning in various fields and various subject matter. Abstract

The purpose of the following study is to describe the Problem Solving ability in the Application of Maritime Applied Physics Sub-Vector Material to Students at SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo, this is studied because the description obtained can later be relevant to the use of learning methods and media used as steps to improve student learning outcomes. . The method used is observation and literature review . In this study the authors took the location in SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo. Sampling used a random sampling technique in the Mathematics and Natural Sciences class which received vector material. Learning outcomes in the cognitive domain are obtained by using an instrument in the form of a Student Worksheet. It was obtained that the overall average ability of students to use problem solving steps was 99.12, meaning that it was more than 70% and this could be categorized as very capable or having very good abilities. The conclusion in this study is the analysis of Problem Solving Ability in the Application of Maritime Applied Physics, Sub Vector Material for Students at SMA Negeri 1 Sukorejo. Overall, the average ability of students to use problem solving steps is 99.12, which means more than 70% and this is can be categorized as very capable or have very good abilities.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the things that triggers learning activities and allows the realization of good learning objectives, so the author is interested in providing an overview of the learning activities of technical cadets in applied mechanics lectures. The method in this study is a survey and literature review. The object of research is the cadets of the AMN Cilacap engineering study program. Learning outcomes in the psychomotor domain are obtained through the discussion method. The instrument used is using google classroom media. Observations were made according to the indicators of learning activity using video media. In general, the indicators of activity have been seen, but still not overall. This means that learning activity has not been maximized or it can be said that technical cadets are active in applied mechanics lectures.  Keywords: description, active learning, applied mechanics

Abstract

Teachers generally have their own techniques in using the internet as a learning medium, this is one of the things that triggers learning activities and allows the realization of good learning goals, so the authors are interested in analyzing the use of the internet by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. This study uses qualitative research methods through descriptive and quantitative approaches. The purpose of the study is to analyze the use of the internet by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap quantitatively and describe it in the form of narrative sentences. The location is at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap online with the subject teacher at the school. It was concluded that the internet was used as a complement by teachers in learning at SMK Bina Bhakti Cilacap. Keywords: analysis, internet use, learning
