Abstract

This paper tries to explain the process of using google form as a assessment instruments for Arabic reading skills (qirâ`ah) and arabic grammar (qawâ’id). The purpose of this study is to find out the features that can be used as a assessment instruments for qirâ`ah and qawâ’id, and their proficiency assessment instruments. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. The objects of this study were students at IAIN Surakarta who participated in the Arabic Practicum Program organized by the Language Development Center (P2B). The results showed that the features of google form that can be used as a medium for evaluating the competence of  reading Arabic texts and Arabic rules are short answer, multiple choice, checkboxes and dropdown features.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditujukan pada santri di Pondok Pesantren Busyrol Karim, Kabupaten Pemalang. Tujuan Pengabdian adalah memberdayakan keterampilan menulis teks sastra bagi santri di Pondok Pesantren Busyrol Karim. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat merujuk pada kegiatan pelatihan untuk pendidikan luar sekolah yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, penggerakan, pembinaan, pengawasan, pemantauan, penilaian, dan pengembangan. Pelaksanaan pemberdayaan santri melalui kegiatan menulis teks sastra berhasil dilaksanakan dengan hasil akhir produk berupa antologi teks sastra “Dari Santri untuk Negeri”. Produk tersebut merupakan kumpulan karya santri yang terdiri atas 23 puisi, 5 cerpen, dan 3 naskah drama. Kegiatan menulis teks sastra ini juga disisipi nilai-nilai keagamaan sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu bentuk penyebaran agama islam melalui bahasa dan sastra dan turut serta dalam membangun peradaban Islam di Indonesia.

Abstract

The ability to make all students able to practice speaking Arabic in everyday life is not easy to apply to every particular institute or educational institution. Because it requires an intensive and patient process. The Institute of Reform is a boy's institute but is competitive and proven. The purpose of this research is: 1. To learn the implementation of speech skill education. 2. Detecting the factors supporting speech skills at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah. 3. Detection of inhibiting factors to learn the skill of speech at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah.This research used the qualitative input, the descriptive approach, which was signed at the Institute of Reform in Jigwah. The way to identify the search detective is in the "purposive sampling" way. Data collection method:1. Note 2. Interview 3. Documents. The researcher uses data analysis on three identical activities, including data classification, data presentation and summary. The results of this research are: implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in improving the quality of speech skill for students of the Reform Institute has several stages: 1. Vocabulary Preservation, 2. Speech Application, 3. Understand the rules. Supporting factors that support the successful implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in the formation of students who are experts in the practice of speech skill, among other things. Compulsory Arabic System, B. Professional Teacher, J. Morning Grammar Method, D. Effective and Appropriate Environment.3 Inhibition factors hinder the successful implementation of speech skill education at the Institute of Reform in the Formation of Students who are experts in the practice of speech skill, among other things: A. Learner Aand, B. Selfish teacher, c. influence of regional languages.

Abstract

Abstract In the language teaching has four language skills are listening skills, speech skills, reading skills, and writing skills. Writing is a fourth skill in terms of ranking in education.Skill writing is the most important material between subjects. This Article discuss what are the theories of the image description technique in the learning of writing skills and how to implement in the learning of writing skills. The description technique in the teaching of writing skill is the technique used to find the idea in the expression of images and to make organizational writing in the teaching of writing skill. There are also types of expression of images, and steps in teaching the skill of writing, the main result is that the implementation of the images description technique in the teaching of writing skill contains three stages is the stage before writing, writing stage, and post-writing. Keyword:  Theories, Technique, Image Description, Writing Skill

Abstract

المل ّخص طریقة الترجمة الحرفیة في فھم النصوص العربیة مھمة جدا وخاصة لكشف نظام اللغتین, و تعریف الشبھ والاختلاف عنھما. والھدف من ھذا البحث ھو أن یعبّر عن طریقة الترجمة الحرفیة في فھم النصوص العربیة من خلال ھدف الطریقة، والمزایا، والنقائص. والنتائج في ھذا البحث ھي أن ھذه الطریقة الترجمة الحرفیة في فھم النصوص العربیة لھا المزایا والنقائص. وأما المزایا فھي تسھل المترجم لفھم النصوص العربیة; لأن طریقة الترجمة الحرفیة استبدال كلمة بكلمة أخرى مقابلة في لغة ثانیة. وتراعي في النصوص محاكة الأصل في عدد كلماتھا ونظمھا وترتیبھا. وتخفئ المعنى المراد من الأصل بسبب اختلاف اللغتین وطبیعتھا في استعمال الكلام للمعاني المرادة. والنقائص منھا تؤدي إلى تغییر المعني وتجریدھا; لأن كل اللغة لھا خصائص لا یمكن ترجمتھا. وتكون المعنى مستحیلا لعدم تشابھ البنیة اللغویة. وتظل ناقصة وسیئة للغایة وقد تكون سببا في تخریب اللغة وافسادھا.

Abstract

The process of translating is not an easy thing but requires deep learning. There are many problems in some schools that are very concerned about the process of learning Arabic, especially in the process of translating Arabic texts into Indonesian. The purpose of this study are to describe the learning process of translating Arabic texts into Indonesian and to analyze the problems of translating Arabic texts into Indonesian for students of MTS Jaa Alhaq Bengkulu. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The methods of data collection in this study are observation, interview and documentation and analyzed using Mills and Huberman's interaction theory. The findings of the study are that the translation process in the secondary school was done well even if it was not done completely and there are two problems of translating Arabic texts into Indonesian in high school; the first is the linguistic problem such as lack of mastery of vocabular, students did not understand grammar well, semantic problems from students; and the second is the non-linguistic problem such as the lack of comfort of students, the different levels of translation competence, the students do not have a lexicon Arabic and the lack of attention from the teacher.
