Abstract

Curriculum development is directed at the condition of society in shaping the younger generation. The development of the curriculum also has implications for textbooks. Textbooks are an element of supporting educational facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to describe the feasibility of the Evaluation Instrument in the Indonesian Electronic School Book for SMA class XI students of the 2017 revision of the 2013 Curriculum. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of Content Analysis. Data collection techniques are using literature study techniques and document techniques. The sample of this research was carried out purposively by determining the criteria according to the research objectives. The sample of this research is an evaluation instrument in the Indonesian language BSE of high school students class XI 2013 revision of the 2017 Curriculum. The data of this research are the feasibility of the evaluation instrument in terms of material aspects and language aspects. The percentage of eligibility level is done by dividing the number of scores obtained by the number of total criteria score then multiplied by one hundred. The results showed that the feasibility of the evaluation instrument in terms of the material aspect was 78.8% and in terms of the language aspect was 84.7%. Based on the research results of the BSE Indonesian evaluation instrument, Class XI high school students are categorized as feasible but must be accompanied by other learning resources. Such as the Internet, Print Media, etc. The results of this study can be used as one of the foundations for teachers to study and consider student textbooks, especially the feasibility of evaluation instruments.

Abstract

The study examined the violation of the maxim of cooperation in early childhood conversation be means of a pragmatic case study, which is an important undertaking given the strong influence of the surrounding environment on children’s language development. Previous studies have delved into this area, particularly with regard to children with special needs, but have not widely explored how such a violation emerges in the early childhood period. Here, we adopted a qualitative approach using a pragmatic case study design, and over seven months collected data by observing, listening to and recording the conversations of a 4-year-old boy. The results of this process were used as transcripts for conversation data. Specifically, we found that of the 40 conversation data items concerning the form of cooperative maxim violations, there were 13 (32.5%) conversation data items. These results indicate that children in the early childhood period already possess pragmatic abilities, as evidenced by the ability to answer questions relevantly, but are constrained by their ignorance in answering questions correctly, thereby leading many children to violate the maxim of manners.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk tindak tutur ilokusi yang terdapat dalam Film Miracle in Cell No.7 karya Hanung Bramantyo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Data di dapatkan melalui tuturan ilokusi yang dituturkan para pemeran film. Sumber data penelitian ini berupa kata atau kalimat dalam dialog film. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik simak dan catat. Kemudian peneliti menggunakan teknik analisis data dari Miles dan Huberman yaitu dengan cara mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan memberikan kesimpulan pada hasil penelitian. Penelitian ini memperoleh sebanyak 45 jenis data tindak tutur ilokusi berupa tindak asertif, direktif, komisif, ekspresif, dan deklaratif penelitian ini. Peneliti menyimpulkan jenis tindak tutur ekspresif sebagai jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang paling dominan muncul pada penelitian ini.

Abstract

Bahasa figuratif secara analitis adalah salah satu bagian yang mendasar dalam sebuah puisi. Pemanfaatan bahasa dapat menimbulkan kesan serta makna mendalam yang terkandung di dalam puisi. Kumpulan puisi Penyair Midas karya Nanang Suryadi merupakan salah salah satu kumpulan puisi yang menarik untuk dikaji, namun hingga saat ini belum ada yang melakukan kajian terhadap kumpulan puisi tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeskplorasi bentuk-bentuk bahasa figuratif yang terkandung dalam kumpulan puisi Penyair Midas karya Nanang Suryadi. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa penggunaan bahasa figuratif yang digunakan dalam kumpulan puisi Penyair Midas karya Nanang Suryadi sangat beragam, yaitu meliputi metafora, personifikasi, sinekdoke, metonemia, dan simile. Pemanfaatan bahasa figuratif dalam kumpulan puisi Penyair Midas Karya Nanang Suryadi tersebut menyiratkan makna yang sangat mendalam, baik yang berkaitan dengan diri sendiri, sesama manusia, maupun alam. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam melakukan apresiasi sastra, khususnya puisi.
