Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee in the world market. The data used in this study was a secondary data export raw coffee Indonesia, Brazil, Vietnam and Colombia during the period 2001-2012. The data was taken from the value and volume of exports of coffee in the world market. The analytical method used was the Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA) and Constant Market Share Analysis (CMSA). This data indicated that Indonesia has a RCA exports of coffee were getting better every year because has the positive values. Meanwhile the CMSA analysis note that the competitiveness of Indonesia's coffee exports more influenced by market distribution and competitiveness effects. This represents an increase of Indonesia's coffee exports more influenced by the growth of the world's coffee export in the marketing of coffee to importing countries that have a high demand.Keywords:coffee, competitiveness, Revealed Comparative Advantage (RCA), Constant Market Share analysis (CMSA)

Abstract

This study aims to find and know, and analyze: 1) channels, marketing margin and part of the price received by farmers. 2) connection or correlation between the price of palm oil paid to the farmer MCC Organization. This study used survey method, with purposive sampling to farmers. Samples of plant age 7-10. with a determined 10% of the population so that the sample was taken 22 216 farmers. Samples traders and MCC using snowball sampling method. Desa Simpang Kelayang District of Kelayang there is a middleman that farmer-trader-MCC. Farmer selling price to wholesalers in February 2015 is Rp. 1326.36 / kg and traders selling to the MCC for Rp. 1790.64 / kg. Margin of March 2014- February 2015 were the highest month of January 2015 amounted to Rp. 420.26 / Kg. The lowest margin in April 2014 amounted to Rp. 125.40 / Kg TBS marketing Efficiency In February 2015 amounted to 14.28 percent of total marketing margin of USD 464.28 / Kg and part of farmers received 73.03 percent. price correlation values (r) at the level of farmers with traders amounted to 0.832

Abstract

ABSTRACT The marketing of Jeruk Siam principally is about the distribution of the fruits from the farmers to the consumers. This research aims ti analyze: the marketing function, marketing channels, cost, margin, profit, marketing efficiency, and the problem that faced by the marketing institution of Jeruk Siam in Desa Pulau Jambu Kecamatan Kuok Kabupaten Kampar. This research uses the survey method and taking sample of the farmers by the census with the criteria, has minimal 1 hectare of firm land and the age of the plant is about 3-4 years. The sample determining of the marketing institution uses the snow ball sampling method by following the marketing channels. In this reseacrh there are three channels. Channel 1 is the distribution from the farmer to Swalayan Jumbo Mart (super grade, grade A, grade B), channel 2 is the distribution from the farmers-collector-retailer (grade B, grade C, usual grade), channel 3 is the distribution from the farmers to the retailres. The marketing function those are influence to the farmers are exchange function and marketing facility function. The result of the research shows the efficient channel. Seen from the efficiency, channel 3 has 0,93%. Profit, channel 2 grade C has Rp. 1.290,21/kg. Marketing cost, channel 3 has Rp. 93,344/kg. Margin, channel 1 Super grade has Rp. 1.750/kg, and the farmer’s share, channel 3 has 95,19%. The problem of the farmers are the extreme weather, there is no irigation, anda plant disease, while the problems of the marketing institution is the endurance of the fruits for distributing to the far place.

Abstract

Batang Cenaku District is one of the sub-districts with the largest rubber plantation area and also the center for rubber production in Indragiri Hulu Regency. Smallholder rubber marketing in Batang Cenaku District is carried out by collecting traders and large traders so that the farmers get low or less profitable income. The purpose of this research is to identify rubber marketing channels, analyze the structure of the rubber market, analyze the behavior of the rubber market, and analyze the market appearance in Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The results show that the rubber marketing in Batang Cenaku District has one type of marketing channel consisting of farmers, collectors and wholesalers, and rubber factories. The market structure in Batang Cenaku sub-district leads to an oligopoly market for the collector trader level with a concentration ratio value (Cr4) of 37.84% and a herfindahl index value of 0.09 (0 <IH <1). Meanwhile, at the wholesaler level there is only one large trader, so the market structure at the wholesaler level is a monopoly market. The behavior of the rubber market in Batang Cenaku District shows that the results of the correlation analysis between prices at the farm and factory level are 0.99, which means that there is a strong relationship between the two prices while the price transmission elasticity value is 1.27 which means that the price change at the farm level is greater than the price change. at the factory level. The appearance of the rubber market in Batang Cenaku District shows that rubber marketing at the collector and wholesaler levels is efficient with efficiency values of 11.37% and 8.02%, respectively.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) menganalisis biaya pemasaran, besarnya margin, keuntungan pemasaran, dan proporsi yang diterima oleh pabrik mini chocato di Kelurahan Kapalo Koto, kecamatan selatan payakumbuh, kecamatan Payakumbuh. 2) menganalisis nilai tambah bubuk kakao pabrik chocato mini, dengan fokus pada produk bubuk kakao murni, 3 in 1 bubuk dan scrub. 3) mengetahui masalah produksi yang dihadapi pabrik mini chocato di Kelurahan Kapalo Koto, kecamatan selatan payakumbuh, kecamatan Payakumbuh. Penelitian dilakukan di Kelurahan Kapalo Koto, kecamatan Payakumbuh Selatan, kecamatan Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat pada tahun 2014. Hasil penelitian adalah 1) produk nilai tambah terbesar adalah bubuk kakao murni sebesar Rp.65.000 / Kg dan yang terkecil. Nilai tambah adalah produk scrub sebesar Rp.15.000 / kg dan RCR point adalah 1,30. 2) Ada delapan permasalahan yang dihadapi pabrik mini chocato yaitu: Isu yang paling dominan adalah keterbatasan faktor chocato mini tingkat produksi yang menyebabkan kapasitas fermentasi kakao yang terbatas diterima dari petani, harga bahan baku yang tidak stabil, daya tahan produk yang pendek, kapasitas produksi , kemasan produk, promosi, harga jual produk cenderung rendah, saluran distribusi, administrasi pabrik yang tidak terstruktur, tidak dapat sepenuhnya memenuhi permintaan pasar. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya produksi, pendapatan kotor, pendapatan bersih usahatani jagung pipil dan menganalisis efisiensi usahatani jagung pipil. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura Kecamatan Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru.Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode survei dengan penyebaran kuesioner dan pengambilan responden dilakukan dengan cara metode purposive sampling, dimana responden berjumlah 7 orang. Adapun metode analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwausahatani kelompok tani jagung pipil di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura mengeluarkan rata-rata total biaya sebesar Rp 3.849,391/musim tanam sedangkan rata-rata pendapatan kotor kelompok tani per musim tanam adalah Rp 4.950.000. Kemudian rata-rata pendapatan bersih kelompok tani per periode musim tanam yaitu Rp 1,094,724.Usahatani kelompok tani jagung pipil di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura semuanya menguntungkan dan layak untuk diteruskan. Rata-rata nilai RCR kelompoktani di Kelurahan Tebing Tinggi Okura adalah 1,28. Kata kunci: Jagung Pipil, Analisis Usahatani Jagung Pipil, Efisiensi Usahatani Jagung Pipil

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the income of broiler chicken breeders in contract and semi-contract systems in Kampar Regency and analyze the comparison of broiler chicken breeder income between broiler systems and semi-contract systems in Kampar Regency. Broiler chicken business with a pattern of partnership has spread in entire of Indonesia, one of them is in Riau Province. The largest population of broiler chickens in Riau Province is in Kampar Regency. Commonly, there are two the broiler chicken farms partnership patterns in Kampar District,namely the contract system and and semi- contract system between the broiler farmer and poultry companies or poultry shop. The contract system is a binding agreements between the parties relating to the both of the input production’s price and the arvestings price, while the semi-contract are not bound in term of both of the input production’s price and the arvestings price. The objective of the study is analyzed comparison of broiler chicken farm income between contracts system and semi-contract system. The study conducted in Kampar Districtby using survey method for 40 broiler chicken farmer. The results of study shows that the average net income of the broiler farmer on the contract system is lower than the semi contrct system, which is IDR  13.910.273,61for compared to IDR 21.387.673,94. The semi contract broiler chicken farm business is more efficient (RCR=1.12) compared to the contract system (RCR=1.08).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of marketing channels, marketing margins, costs, profits, efficiency and farmer share in each marketing channel. This research was conducted in District V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency. Taking as many as 30 farmer respondents, four regional traders, six inter-regional traders and 11 retailers. The results showed that there are four marketing channels, the largest total marketing margin of all existing marketing channels is in marketing channel II, which is Rp. 4200/grain for grade A coconut and Rp. 2800/grain for grade B coconut. The largest total marketing cost is in marketing channel II, which is Rp. 1183.32/item. The biggest total marketing profit is in marketing channel I, which is Rp. 4923.8/grain for grade A coconut and Rp. 2923.8/grain for Grade B coconut. The most efficient marketing channel is marketing channel III with an efficiency value of 17,9% for grade A coconut and 25.58% for grade B coconut. The highest farmer share value is in Channel III, which is 37.6%/grain for grade A coconut. While the highest farmer share value is for grade B coconut, which is 40%/grain. items contained in the IV marketing channel.

Abstract

White sugar is one of Indonesia's most essential food commodities. The government conducts import activities in an effort to stabilize the price of domestic sugar because national sugar production does not meet the demand. Domestic sugar prices reached the highest point in history in 2020, with prices ranging from Rp. 16.000 per kilogram to Rp. 21.000 per kilogram. The government has also imported 5.5 million tons of white sugar in 2020. The goals of this research are to (1) determine the conditions of white sugar imports in Indonesia from 2000 to 2020, (2) project the volume of white sugar imports and domestic white sugar prices in Indonesia for 2021-2025, and (3) analyze the impact of imported white sugar on domestic white sugar prices in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data and processed using descriptive statistical analysis, simple exponential smoothing trend analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this research are: (1) the volume of white sugar imports in Indonesia fluctuated and tended to increase from 2000 to 2020, (2) the projected volume of white sugar imports in 2021-2025 will increase by 0.26 percent per year, while domestic white sugar prices will increase by 3.3 percent per year, (3), the volume of white sugar imports, world sugar prices, sugar import duty rates, and white sugar consumption have a large partial effect on domestic white sugar prices with a confidence level of 97.68 percent. Otherwise, the domestic white sugar production has no effect on domestic white sugar prices

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the marketing of Siamese citrus in Kuok Village based on market performance. The location of research is determined purposively, that is the village which become the center of citrus production. Method of sampling farmer by simple random sampling. Determination of sample marketing agency using snowball sampling method by following the marketing channel. To analyze the data used marketing cost analysis, marketing margin, marketing advantage, marketing efficiency, farmer's share and profit to cost ratio.The results show that there are three marketing channels of citrus, namely the marketing channel of I farmers - collector traders - Grade A, Grade B and Grade C), marketing channel II farmers to retailers and marketing channels III farmers sell directly to end consumers. The analysis of market performance shows that the most efficient channels, seen from the calculation of marketing costs, marketing margins, marketing advantages, marketing efficiency, farmer's share and profit-to-cost ratio are on channel II.
