Abstract

Research about the utilization of Tyto alba as rats pest control in oil palm plantations Regency of Kuantan Singingi was done in April-November 2018 in some palm oil plantations in the district of Kuantan Singingi. The methode of this research followto The Barn Owl Protocol, Calculation of the population Tyto alba was directly in area of plantations, counting the number of the prey doing by installation of Camera Trap in artificial enclosure and types of the prey was analysis by skull of the prey in on pellets of Tyto alba. Results of this research show in Kuantan Singingi Regency, The utilization of Tyto alba is still used internally by large private oil palm Plantation, one of Them is PT. Tribakti Sarimas (PT. TBS). On PT. TBS’S oil palm plantations has been using as whole by making a artificial enclosure (Nestbox) 3.000 Unit since 2012 year which spread a cage of for 25 ha on the estate’s core. About 85% of whom had been inhabited by Tyto alba with the evidence she had met the presence of eggs, chicks and eggs have shells.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out how much the cost, income, efficiency and Break Event Point for the broiler chicken breeder business partner Mrs. Suniati in Muaro Sentajo Village, Sentajo Raya District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. To analyze the data used mathematical analysis with descriptive and quantitative analysis. This research is a case study research in which research is focused on only one broiler chicken farming business. Results for analyzing revenues, costs and production are analyzed once in the production process. The results of this study indicate that Ibu Suniati's partner broiler chicken pattern with a scale of 3000 tails uses a cost of Rp.79,200,323, - / period, the receipt is Rp.81,154,080 /, - period, with a total profit of Rp.1,953. 757 / period, and an efficiency level of Rp. 1,025 / period which means 1 rupiah of the cost incurred then obtains revenue of 1,025 rupiahs or a profit of 0.25 rupiahs. And the level of Break Event Point in this study is that the production BEP is 4,342 kg, where the broiler breeder, the partner pattern of Ibu Suniati, must produce broiler chickens above 4,342 kg, while the price for the BEP is Rp. 18.136, - means that this broiler breeder, Ibu Suniati's partner pattern, must sell at a price of Rp. 18,136.

Abstract

Komoditas hortikultura di Desa Pisang berebus belum dimanfaatkan secara optimal dikarenakan hasil panen yang langsung dijual kepasar, sehingga produk yang dihasilkan tidak dapat bertahan lama, sehinga diperlukan penanganan dari produk yang mana salah satunya adalah dengan memberikan informasi teknologi dan memberikan pengetahuan serta keterampilan masyarakat desa mengenai usaha diversifikasi produk tanaman hortikultura. Upaya tranfer informasi teknologi pengolahan tanaman hortikultura melalui kegiatan penyuluhan. kegiatan penyuluhan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan melalui penyuluhan kepada ibu-ibu rumah tangga dalam peningkatan manfaat serta peningkatan ekonomi keluarga melalui pengolahan produk hortikultura skala rumah tangga Saus merupakan salah satu produk pasta yang cukup dikenal dan digemari dimasyarakat. Produk tersebut dapat diolah melalui teknologi sederhana ditingkat rumah tangga. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif dikarekana respon dari pada ibu-ibu/kelompok tani Wanita ini sangat antusias mengikuti kegiatan ini yang mana materi yang diberikan sangat sederhana dan mudah dimengerti dan dilakukan oleh mereka, dan memberikan peluang baru bagi kelompoktani dalam memanfaatkan hasil tanaman mereka yang awalnya mudah rusak menjadi produk yang bisa bertahan lama.
