Abstract

Abstract : Behavior development in adolescence is marked by changes due to puberty, one of them, changes on socio-emotional behavior. Many students still reluctant to open in discussing matters related to puberty. They only know about physical changes. This research aims to know the effect of guidance service group toward socio-emotional behavior ofadolescence, especially the girl students in the X classat SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The method of this research is quasi experiment with one-group pretest–posttest designe. Subject of this research is 30 students who have low and medium socio-emotion. From the analysis of the data obtained can be seen that the value of thitung bigger than ttable, that is(30,08> 2,000). Thus Ho rejected and Ha accepted, its mean that from this research there is a significant differences between students socio-emotional behavior before and after guidance service group gave in first year students at ADP SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru.Keyword : Group guidance,Adolescence,Socio-Emotional

Abstract

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of the cultural anthropology perspective in the development of multicultural counseling models to address social adjustment issues in adolescents. Through literature studies, the article analyzes the integration of cultural anthropology in counseling, the effectiveness of multicultural approaches, and the challenges and opportunities that exist. The research results show that a deep understanding of culture is crucial in creating relevant and effective counseling interventions for adolescents from diverse backgrounds.

Abstract

The divorce rate in Indonesia, especially in the Riau region, has shown a quite significant increase in recent years. This phenomenon has become a very important issue to be considered in social and psychological studies, especially considering the broad and profound impact it has on individuals, families, and society as a whole. This article aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the factors that contribute to the increasing divorce rates in Riau, as well as evaluate the role of marriage counseling in efforts to prevent and resolve various issues that arise in marital life. In conducting this analysis, the article adopts a literature study approach, where data and information are gathered from various relevant sources to provide a more comprehensive and thorough overview of the divorce issue currently happening in Riau society. With this approach, it is hoped that readers can better understand the complexity of divorce problems and the solutions that can be implemented to reduce divorce rates in the region.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada manajemen POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling) yang diakui sebagai kerangka kritis untuk mengoptimalkan layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling (BK) di sekolah. Meskipun pentingnya manajemen ini, implementasinya di lapangan menghadapi tantangan signifikan, seperti kurangnya sumber daya, pelatihan yang tidak memadai, dan resistensi terhadap perubahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi literatur, yang mencakup analisis berbagai sumber terkait implementasi POAC dalam konteks BK. Hasil dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa untuk mencapai efektivitas dalam layanan BK, diperlukan integrasi teknologi yang memadai, pelatihan manajerial bagi guru BK, serta kebijakan sekolah yang mendukung. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa keberhasilan implementasi manajemen POAC tidak hanya bergantung pada teori, tetapi juga pada praktik yang relevan dan dukungan dari seluruh pihak terkait di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, langkah-langkah strategis perlu diambil untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada demi meningkatkan kualitas layanan BK.

Abstract

The era of globalization and digitalization has brought significant changes to guidance and counseling services, both in terms of challenges and opportunities. This study aims to analyze various challenges faced by guidance and counseling professionals amid technological transformation and socio-cultural changes. The method used is a descriptive literature review of recent national and international articles. The analysis shows that the main challenges include adaptation to new technologies, the digital divide, ethical and privacy issues, as well as the need for the development of multicultural competence and digital literacy for counselors. On the other hand, digitalization also opens up opportunities to expand service access, increase efficiency, and develop innovative interventions that are more responsive to client needs. This study recommends the need for continuous training, strengthening data protection policies, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to improve the quality of guidance and counseling services in the era of globalization and digitalization.
