Abstract

Abstract. The low interest in entrepreneurship is experienced by the majority of high school graduates and equivalent, including graduates of SMK PSM Takeran Magetan. Therefore, various efforts to foster entrepreneurial spirit and improve entrepreneurial skills for students and graduates need to be carried out. Improving entrepreneurial skills can be done by utilizing opportunities and potential in the surrounding environment, such as utilizing abundant coconut fiber waste in the Takeran Magetan area. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing skills training to alumni of SMK PSM Takeran students who did not continue to higher education so that they are able to process coconut fiber waste into creative and marketable products such as kokedama pots, doormats, and organic planting media. The scope of activities includes entrepreneurship education, coconut fiber processing practices, and simple product marketing. The implementation method includes initial observation, counseling and training implementation. This activity was carried out for two days at the Takeran Islamic boarding school where the students live, involving resource persons from local business actors. The results of the training showed that of the 30 participants, 22 were able to independently produce at least two types of coconut fiber products, including doormats, pots, and organic planting media. Furthermore, the participants' entrepreneurial spirit increased from 20% at the beginning of the training to 70% at the end. The activity contributes to strengthening the motivation and entrepreneurial skills of youth entrepreneurship in rural areas, particularly among alumni of SMK PSM Takeran-Magetan.

Abstract

The expansion of digital technologies has profoundly altered how organizations function, make decisions, and deliver value. As digital transformation becomes a defining characteristic of modern business environments, leaders must be equipped to guide their organizations through continuous change while maintaining stability and effectiveness. This article examines how leadership preparation and structured change management can support organizations in adapting to digital disruption. Using a qualitative synthesis of academic literature and a contextual case study from Gojek Indonesia, the study reviews theories related to digital leadership, organizational readiness, and formal change frameworks. Recent studies highlight that digital leadership and transformation are deeply interlinked, and that leadership behavior strongly shapes organizational agility and innovation capacity. The findings indicate that successful digital transformation depends on leaders’ ability to foster adaptable mindsets, encourage collaboration, and support cultures willing to experiment and learn. Beyond technology deployment, digital change requires clear communication, capacity development, and alignment across all levels of the organization. The implications emphasize the need for strategic leadership development, competency strengthening, and deliberate interventions to ensure long-term resilience in the digital era.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of formulating an appropriate marketing strategy in response to the dynamic competition within the healthcare sector, particularly at PKU Muhammadiyah Mayong Hospital. The objective of this research is to analyze the role of internal and external environmental factors in the development of the hospital’s marketing strategy. The study employs comparative research design with a mixed methods approach. Data were collected through interviews and questionnaires and analyzed using SWOT analysis, supported by the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices. The findings indicate that internal strengths include superior facilities, comprehensive human resources, promotional discounts, and structured financial management, while weaknesses involve limited parking facilities and a high financial dependence on BPJS (National Health Insurance). Externally, opportunities arise from potential collaborations with surrounding companies and the availability of trained medical personnel, whereas threats include the planned construction of a new hospital in the Mayong area and difficulties in collecting incomplete patient payments. The IFE score of 2.76 and EFE score of 2.71 position the hospital in Quadrant I, indicating that a growth-oriented strategy is the most appropriate approach.
