Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe Educational Values in Tor-Tor Naposo Nauli Bulung. Theories used in this study include value theory and educational theory. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The population of this research are South Tapanuli people in Mabar Hilir and Deli Serdang, and the sample of this research are 3 South Tapanuli people in Deli Serdang and Mabar Hilir. In the discussion of this study as for the focus of my research is using the theory of religious values according to Abdul (2012: 129) and moral values according to Sutardjo (2011: 54). This study aims to describe the educational values in Tor-Tor Naposo Nauli Bulung. Data collection in this research is done by observation method, interview, documentation, and analysis technique. This study discusses the explanation of the values of education contained in Tor-Tor Naposo Nauli Bulung for dancers and the public to know that in a dance there are also good values that can be a positive value in everyday life and can be used as material teachers for learners. The results of the research can be seen that in Tor-Tor Naposo Nauli Bulung, contained the values of education in which viewed from the pattern of motion, fashion, music, and rules. The values are peeled through religious values and moral values which can then be used as a source of information to the community and the dancers that there are values that can be used as learning can also be used as teacher material for learners. Keyword: Value, Education, Religious Value, Moral Value, Tor-Tor Naposo Nauli Bulung.

Abstract

Development of the industry, especially the palm oil mill industry, it will have an impact with tangible evidence that makes the environment polluted. Heavy metals will be produced from the palm oil mill industry and will pollute the environment. Zn metal is one of the heavy metal waste produced from the mustard coconut factory industry. Zn heavy metal waste will be very dangerous if it exceeds a predetermined level and will have an impact on humans, animals and the environment. One effort to reduce heavy metals using the adsorption method. Adsorption has advantages over a variety of other methods. Adsorban that is used from materials found in nature and the resulting waste can be used as an adsorbent. The type and type of adsorbent greatly affect the pH adsorption level of the Zn metal solution.

Abstract

Technological developments change the researchers and educators thinking towards online learning. Various innovations were carried out to support effective online learning which suitable with the student competencies. As there is urgency for carrying practicum activities to achieved Course Learning Achievement (Capaian Pembelajaran Mata Kuliah (CPMK)) for the basic chemistry subject, there is need to make some innovation, which is by making practicum video. It could stimulate students critical thinking because it was presented with visual representations. It could overcome the limitations of space and time and could be used repeatedly. The research type was Research and Development with the Borg and Gall development model. The final product will be disseminated through YouTube platform which is integrated with sipda.unimed.ac.id. Validation results in media design and material aspect showed that the product was declared very valid with an average value of 86.87 percent and 97.92 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, the responses from 30 students showed that the product was very practical with an average score of more than 90 percent and was suitable with learning objectives of the basic chemistry course especially the periodic system of elements.

Abstract

Dalu Sepuluh B merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara Indonesia. Kondisi tanah yang subur dimanfaatkan warga untuk menanam berbagai tanaman hias maupun tanaman obat di halaman rumah. Tanaman seperti lidah buaya, jeruk nipis, jeruk purut maupun sereh wangi dapat ditingkatkan nilai jualnya yaitu dengan menjadikannya produk sabun. Sabun cuci piring menjadi produk yang menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan perekonomian warga masyarakat Desa Dalu Sepuluh B. Apalagi pada masa pandemi covid-19 banyak warga yang bekerja di pabrik dirumahkan, sehingga butuh alternatif lain untuk menambah penghasilan keluarga. Adapun metode kegiatan yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan pemahaman kepada ibu pkk tentang pengembangan sabun cair cuci piring menggunakan bahan alami dan praktik pembuatan sabun cair cuci piring menggunakan bahan alami. Ibu PKK memiliki antusias yang cukup tinggi dalam melakukan kegiatan ini. Hal ini terlihat dari semangat dalam memproduksi sabun cuci piring dan setelah kegiatan pelatihan ini, ibu PKK masih memproduksi sabun cuci piring dirumah mereka untuk digunakan sendiri.

Abstract

Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan: (i) untuk mengetahui apakah briket arang batang pohon teh dapat memenuhi standar mutu SNI tentang briket bioarang, (ii) untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi jumlah komposisi campuran perekat pada briket batang pohon teh yang paling sesuai dengan standar SNI, (iii) Untuk mengetahui  komposisi pencampuran arang batang pohon teh dengan perekat corn starch yang menghasilkan karakteristik briket yang optimal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan pendekatan secara kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan adalah arang batang pohon teh dan Corn Starch sebagai perekat dengan perbandingan 90%:10%, 70%:30%,dan 50%:50%. Analisis yang dilakukan antara lain kadar air, densitas, dan nilai kalor. Batang pohon teh dengan perekat Corn Starch dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menghasilkan briket bioarang. Penggunaan jumlah perekat yang bervariasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap karakteristik briket yang dihasilkan. Briket dengan karakteristik yang paling optimal terdapat pada sample B yaitu dengan nilai kadar air, densitas, dan nilai kalor yaitu 6,19 %, 0,51 g/cm3 , (+) 11,89 kal/g.

Abstract

The revitalization of the SMK curriculum projects serves that students are not only ready to work but also be able to create jobs through entrepreneurship. SMK Students are provided additional hours of entrepreneurship coursework in order to foster creativity, innovation, and an entrepreneurial mindset among students. Furthermore, students are also required to possess a social entrepreneurial mindset, which encompasses a business development perspective that takes into account social, economic, environmental, and health factors. In this program, students are given training in making soap from used cooking oil. Used cooking oil is a waste that has promising business prospects. Appropriate processing of used cooking oil can yield valuable products that satisfy the needs of the community. As a result of this training, up to 97% of students have acquired greater understanding regarding the hazards and advantages associated with used cooking oil. Students possess advanced skills in producing soap products using used cooking oil. Furthermore, students develop a greater awareness regarding health and the environment.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is a research on the development of teaching materials in the form of Project Based Learning STEM E-Modules on Halogen Elements Material for Class XII SMA. Development of teaching materials based on STEM and PjBL is needed as a learning solution in the 21st century. In addition, the use of electronic teaching materials is in line with the development of technology 4.0. This study aims to: 1) Determine the validity of the developed PjBL-based STEM E-Module; 2) Knowing student responses to the developed PjBL-based STEM E-Module. The sample chosen in this study was students of class XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran. The development model in this study uses the 4D model. This research consists of 4 steps, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The results showed that: (1) the STEM E-Module Based on Project Based Learning was declared "very valid" with an average percentage score of 89% for material experts and 88.94% for media experts; (2) The response of Class XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran to the developed e-module is categorized as "very good" with an average percentage of 86%.Keywords: E-Module, STEM, PjBL, halogenAbstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar berupa E-Modul STEM Berbasis Project Based Learning Pada Materi Unsur Golongan Halogen Untuk Kelas XII SMA. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui kevalidan E- Modul STEM berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan; 2) Mengetahui respon siswa terhadap E- Modul STEM berbasis PjBL yang dikembangkan. Sampel yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa-siswi kelas XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran. Model pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model 4D. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 4 langkah, yaitu define, design, develope, dan disseminate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) E-Modul STEM Berbasis Project Based Learning dinyatakan “sangat valid” dengan nilai persentase rata-rata ahli materi 89% dan ahli media sebesar 88,94%; (2) Respon peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 5 SMA Negeri 1 Kisaran terhadap e-modul yang dikembangkan yaitu dikategorikan “sangat baik” dengan presentase rata-rata 86%.Kata kunci: E-Modul, STEM, PjBL, halogen
