Abstract

The density of a city affects the power to build an area. Regional development has a large impact on compaction and land cover on an area. This will certainly affect the reduced availability of open land, especially green open space (GOS) in an area. At the mandate of the government through Law No. 26 of 2007 concerning spatial planning it is required that within an area the availability of green open space be 30% of the total area. Badung Regency need for green space with a minimum area standard / capita of 0.3 m2 will obtain the area of ??green park needs of the City of 18,900 m2. The need for green space is then initiated by the Government of Badung Regency that the procurement will be followed by the provision of public space functions in the form of city parks. In the provision of green space in the form of city parks, a study of locations that will be used as city parks is needed. This location study begins by looking at locations that have potential by looking at accessibility, social, cultural, economic, and physical conditions as well as permits and regulations related to the land status. Therefore, it is deemed necessary to conduct a site study using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. That way it will be easier to conclude and determine the best location as a function of green open space as well as public open space in the form of city parks. Many of these human desires form an increased lifestyle, to fulfill these desires many are looking for ways to earn additional income outside of their main job. One way out for people with middle to lower income is to create a business unit in their home or occupancy which is also called Home Based Enterprises or home-based businesses. This study seeks to analyze the characteristics of the hbes in the main corridor of Penatih Village, East Denpasar, which is a residential area. Changes in space that occur in the house, especially the telajak section into a business unit, cause a change in the behavior of the residents of the house and also the community of road users. This behavior has a significant impact on the development of the corridor in addition to decreasing the quality of the settlements to become less comfortable, the appearance of the building mismatch, traffic jams that make it unsafe to drive through the corridor due to economic activities carried out by residents and buyers, so parking space is needed. To accommodate vehicles that are parked to visit Hbes the goal is to create a beautiful, comfortable and safe environment. Index Terms— home based enterprises, behavior setting, parking

Abstract

Garuda was known in prehistoric India, where his paintings were found in the Harappa (Sindhu River valley), then spread to all corners of the world affected by Indian civilization. Its head, beak and claws are eagles, the light of the gods shining from its body. While Wilmana as a picture of a space vehicle that moves beyond the speed of thought. Wilmana is also a worldwide character, presented in the world of the internet, film and games. Padmasana architecture is a sacred building as a place/position of God, on the back is often carved by the two kinds of decoration. This research about ornamental variety is research in the context of traditional architecture, as an exploration of building concepts that have been developed in the past and are useful to apply to contemporary architecture. This study aims to re-express the meaning of Garuda and Wilmana and how they are placed on Padmasana architecture. The steps taken are to record the Padmasana in the Kahyangan Jagat Temple in Bali, followed by comparing the use of these two types of decoration on each Padmasana. The next step is to interpret the meaning by connecting the object with its past (expanding the horizon of the researcher). The results of the study show that the use of Garuda and Wilmana decoration in the Padmasana architecture is not a necessity. The use of Garuda points to the message that humans must try to free themselves from the bondage of worldly passions. While the use of Wilmana refers to the sky vehicle that carries passengers, both Giant and Dewata to the place they want. Both are symbolic decoration types, have the same position, placed on the body behind the padmasana. The position of the two becomes different if applied together, Garuda is placed in a position above Wilmana, because only a soul that has been freed from worldly slavery can ride Garuda.

Abstract

Concerns about the waning identity of Balinese architecture led the Provincial Government of Bali to issue Perda No. 2, 3, 4 of 1974, which was later revised to No. 5 of 2005 concerning Architectural Requirements of the Building. . This requirement emphasizes that building architecture in Bali must have the characteristics of Balinese traditional architecture, especially in tourism areas where there are many tourist accommodations. But on the other hand, there are various perceptions and interpretations according to the interests of each architect regarding the Architectural Requirements of the Building. Architects as practitioners in architectural design have a responsibility to maintain environmental quality, especially architecture in Bali. This study aims to identify the Architectural Requirements from an architect's point of view. The subject is architects who practice in Bali, selected by purposive sampling technique with the keyword tourist accommodation architectural designers in Bali. The variables of the design process that are the focus of the study are aspects of creativity dan critical issues. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis method, namely by using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis was performed by ranking each statement variable to obtain a comparison between the architect's interpretation variables. This study identifies two broad categories, namely how architects view traditional Balinese architecture as a priority issue that must be considered in designing and how the architect's cognitive response to Architectural Requirements in the design process.

Abstract

Economic development in urban areas indirectly changes the function of residential areas into commercial areas. Along with the development of the function of the Gajah Mada area, the threat of decreasing the visual quality of Jalan Gajah Mada as an artifact of the corridors of the Denpasar Old Town area naturally cannot be avoided. The need for increased trading space, high building density, development of economic functions that are more commercial in nature due to the demands of profit and modernization as well as a slum environment can also eliminate the visual character of the physical corridor of Jalan Gajah Mada which still retains the characteristics of Balinese architecture and the image of Kota Tua because Therefore, it is necessary to study the visual characteristics of the physical corridors of Jalan Gajah Mada so that directions regarding the arrangement should be considered in accommodating changes in the physical corridors so that they remain visually aligned. This research method is a type of descriptive research using qualitative methods. Descriptive research is a research that aims to provide a systematic, factual, accurate description of the facts and characteristics of the population so that it can produce the physical characteristics of the Jalan Gajah Mada corridor as seen from the path elements, architectural patterns and street trees that surround the corridor.

Abstract

Environmental pollution is a common problem that often affects an area. One of them is river pollution. River pollution also occurred in Peliatan Village. The condition of one of the rivers, namely the Mas River, was once used as a landfill or TPA. The role of the community in helping to overcome pollution problems is an initial step that can become a foundation in overcoming river pollution problems in Peliatan Village. In Bali, the existence of community groups is still closely felt, especially in overcoming and finding a problem. Local community groups have a major role in providing aspirations for the progress of their own region. The theory of community empowerment and community based development is the theoretical basis for implementing this research activity. The quality of the riverside space is measured from the indicators of the quality of the waterfront space according to Sutrisno (1997) and is presented descriptively. Research using qualitative methods with case studies and using observation and interview techniques. This method is used to be able to understand and discover phenomena in the field in depth. The results of the study showed that the condition of the river before handling river pollution was that its banks were filled with garbage and made into a landfill. The condition of the river afterwards is that the river becomes clean, orderly and made more attractive with the addition of wall carvings and sculptures. The reappearance of the bad debt tradition and visits from outside the area to Peliatan Village. The role of the community as the dominant role and in collaboration with the Service Village and Traditional Village. Contributions from local communities both in terms of ideas, ideas and material as an important capital in overcoming problems in their own area. This capital will be very useful for development in villages or cities.

Abstract

Abstract: Urban growth in the 21st century is characterized by massive urbanization, creating complex challenges related to urban form and mobility. This study examines the correlation between urban form and urban mobility in developing countries through a systematic literature review using the SALSA method (Search, Appraisal, Synthesis, and Analysis). A total of 20 articles published between 1999 and 2024 were analyzed, focusing on variables such as density, land-use mix, street connectivity, and transit accessibility. The findings indicate that compact, mixed-use, and well-connected urban forms encourage public transport use, walking, and cycling, thereby reducing dependence on private vehicles and lowering emissions. Conversely, urban sprawl exacerbates congestion, pollution, and energy consumption. Developing countries face unique challenges, including socio-economic disparities, dominance of informal transport, and limited data and governance capacity. These findings highlight the importance of integrating spatial planning with sustainable mobility policies. The study concludes that compact and inclusive transit-oriented development, supported by pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly infrastructure and regulation of informal transport, is essential for achieving sustainable and equitable urban mobility. Keyword: Urban Form, Urban Mobility, SALSA.
