Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (problem based learning) pada materi sistem pertahanan tubuh terhadap hasil belajar biologi kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Aimas Kabupaten Sorong. Tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Sampel diambil dari populasi yang jumlah ppeserta didik pada kelas XI adalah 17 peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif sehingga teknik analilisis datanya menggunakan statistic. Teknik pengambilan data mengggunakan posttes presttest dan dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunakan banatuan IBM STATISTIC SPSS dengan menggunakan Coreected item- Total Correlation Yang merupakan korelasi antara skor item dan skor total item dengan membandingkan denga nilai rhitung dan nilai rtabel dengan taraf signifikansi 5% Nilai rhitung tersebut dibandingkan dengan rtabel nilai N=17 dengan taraf siginifikansi 5% yaitu 0,908, maka data tersebut di peroleh hasil rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (0,881>0, maka H1 diterima dan Ho ditolak. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara pengaruh penerapan model pembelajran berbasis masalah (Problem Based Learning) terhadap hasil belajar biologi kelas XI SMA Muhammadiyah Aimas Kabupaten Sorong.

Abstract

Inventarisasidan Identifikasi Jenis-jenis Tanaman Talas (Colocasia esculenta L) di Kabupaten Sorong. Di bimbing oleh Ratna Prabawati, M.Pd dan Anang Triyoso, M.Pd. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginventarisasi dan mengidentifikasi Jenis-jenis Tanaman Talas (Colocasia esculenta L) di Kabupaten Sorong. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Sorong mulai bulan Maret 2023 sampai Mei 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dan pengambilan sampel dilakukan menggunakan metode accidental sampling. Karakter morfologi talas berdasarkan panduan IPGRI (International Plant Genetic Resources Institute). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat 17 aksesi talas yaitu aksesi 1, aksesi 2, aksesi 3, aksesi 4, aksesi 5, aksesi 6, aksesi 7, aksesi 8, aksesi 9, aksesi 10, aksesi 11, aksesi 12, aksesi 13, aksesi 14, aksesi 15, aksesi 16, dan aksesi 17. Di desa Klakalet dan desa Malagai yang termasuk dataran tinggi terdapat 15 aksesi yaitu aksesi 1, aksesi 2, aksesi 3, aksesi 4, aksesi 5, aksesi 6, aksesi 7, aksesi 8, aksesi 9, aksesi 10, aksesi 11, aksesi 12, aksesi 13, aksesi 14, dan aksesi 17. Di desa Makbusun termasuk dataran rendah terdapat 2 aksesi yaitu aksesi 15 dan aksesi 16.

Abstract

Klasuluk Village is one of the villages in Mariat District, Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua. In general, the people of Klasuluk Village work as farmers. The commodities most widely planted by the people of Klasuluk Village are horticultural plants. Dry soil conditions and watering systems that still use manual equipment are the causes of low horticultural plant productivity in Klasuluk Village, especially the Tunas Siaga farmer group. The methods of implementing this community service are (1) Socialization, (2) training, (3) application of technology, (4) mentoring and program evaluation. The results of this community service program are the application of smart watering system technology and training in the use of this technology can increase the productivity of horticultural plants and increase the economic value of the community in Klasuluk Village in the Tunas Siaga farmer group. From the results of this community service program, it can be concluded that smart watering system technology can increase the productivity of horticultural plants and is very much needed by the Tunas Siaga farmer group.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Discover learning in improving critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of biology students of class X SMA Negeri 9 Sorong Regency. The background of this study is the low critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students in biology learning which is still dominated by conventional methods. This study uses an experimental research method with a One Group pretest-posttest design. The assessment subjects were 12 class X students who were selected purposively. Data collection techniques included critical thinking skills tests, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and learning activity observation sheets. Data were analyzed using normality tests, homogeneity tests and paired sample t-tests at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a significant increase in critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes of students after the implementation of Discovery Learning. The average value of critical thinking skills increased from 14.50 to 83.25, while the average cognitive learning outcomes increased from 15.17 to 84.67. The t-test showed a p value 0.05 which means there was a significant difference between before and after treatment. The conclusion of this study is that Discovery Learning is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills and cognitive learning outcomes in biology learning.
