Abstract

The purpose of classroom action research is to improve the students mathematic problem solving skills of grade IV SD 1 Kedungdowo through the problem based learning model assisted by lego. This research is a classroom action research with teacher research subject and 28 students. This study lasted for 2 cycles, each cycle consists of 4 stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The independent variable in this research is lego assisted PBL. While the dependent variable in this research that is problem solving ability. Data collection techniques used is tests, observations, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used is quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results showed that there was an increase of problem solving ability of mathematics in cycle I and Cycle II, that is from 70,92 (good) to 74,28 (good) with percentage of classical learning completeness equal to 64% to 86%. Supported by an increase in problem solving activity students score 2.51 (good) to 3.01 (good). In addition, teachers' skills in managing mathematics learning also increased by 74% (good) to 85% (very good).

Abstract

This study purpose  to determine the role and implementation of Child Friendly City  in Demak District from an educational point of view. This research is done in the school environment in Demak District with the object of research are principals, students, parents and school committee. Qualitative approach with qualitative descriptive technique used in this research. Data analysis was obtained from interviews conducted on education and culture offices, social offices, principals, school committees, students as well as parents and student questionnaires and observations from researchers. The result of the research (1) the KLA implementation indicator in education of two of the eight indicators is appropriate ie non-smoking areas that have been applied in public places and the implementation of child-friendly schools whereas there are six indicators that include: , early childhood education, 12-year compulsory education, means of traveling from and to school and recreation and recreation facilities. (2) the implementation of KLA in schools of six of the seven indicators is not yet optimal: business involvement in the fulfillment of children's rights, information facilities, non-smoking areas, 12-year compulsory education, means of traveling for children to and from schools as well as, child friendly school  and facilities creation and recreation  that is right.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was (1) to apply the ethnolingistic learning model based on Islamic values of the nusantara to students of Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD). This research is development research. The stages in this study took seven steps from the ten R & D steps offered by Gall and Borg. The data to be collected in this study is data that shows the teaching material and design of ethnolinguistic learning based on Islamic Nusantara values for PGSD students. The product trial subjects were lecturers and PGSD students at Muria Kudus University. The results of this study are ethnolinguistic learning models based on Islamic values of the nusantara and teaching materials. Based on the results of the discussion it can be concluded that the ethnolinguistic learning model based on Islamic values of the nusantara and ethnolinguistic teaching materials based on Islamic values of the nusantara are appropriate and meet the requirements to be used as learning models and teaching materials.
