Abstract

Pembelajaran IPA pada kelas 4 terdapat materi fotosintesis. Materi ini diajarkan tujuannya untuk mengenalkan konsep dasar ilmu pengetahuan khususnya tumbuhan sebagai produsen pertama dalam rantai makanan, mengajarkan pentingnya peran tumbuhan dalam menyediakan oksigen dan makanan bagi makhluk hidup lain, membantu siswa memahami pentingnya tumbuhan dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekosistem, seperti penghasil oksigen dan penyerap karbondioksida. Namun, tujuan itu tidak tercapai karena design yang digunakan guru monoton. Permasalahan tersebut dinilai dapat diselesaikan dengan penerapan pendekatan outdoor study. Tujuan pembelajaran outdoor dapat membuat siswa menjadi lebih terbiasa dengan lingkungannya dan dapat diberi contoh realistis dari lingkungan sekitarnya yang terhubung dengan konten yang sedang dipelajari. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan media konkret yang melakukan penyebaran angket dan wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran konvensional materi fotosintesis tanpa media konkret berdampak pada kemampuan siswa kelas 4 SD, seperti yang ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata posttest siswa sebesar 66,86 < 7,50 (KKM) Hipotesis Nol (Ho) diterima dan Hipotesis Kerja (Ha) ditolak. Pembelajaran berbasis outdoor materi fotosintesis dengan media konkret berpengaruh pada kemampuan siswa kelas 4 SD. Nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 79,69 > 7,50 (KKM) Ho ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of teachers in enhancing students' creativity through art and culture learning at SDN Gedangsewu 1 Pare. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design, data were collected through in - depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation. The findings show that teachers act as facilitators, motivators, and innovators by applying contextual and project-based learning strategies. These approaches include the use of recycled materials, integration with other subjects, and encouragement of student expression. Despite limited facilities and training, teachers overcame challenges through creativity and collaboration with parents. Art learning positively influenced students' originality, flexibility, and self-expression. This research contributes to the development of educational practices by emphasizing the importance of teacher roles and contextualized learning in fostering creativity. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for educators and policymakers in designing inclusive and creative learning environments in primary education.

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools has become a serious issue affecting students’ psychological well-being and academic performance. This study aims to analyze the impact of bullying on students’ learning motivation and the role of teachers in minimizing such effects. The research employed a qualitative approach using a case study at SDN Petungroto. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation review. The findings revealed three main points: (1) various forms of bullying occurred, including physical, verbal, and social bullying; (2) students who were victims of bullying experienced a significant decrease in intrinsic and extrinsic motivation, indicated by lack of classroom participation and reduced interest in learning; and (3) teachers played a crucial role in handling bullying through monitoring, collaboration with parents, counseling, and character education programs. The study emphasizes the importance of creating a safe school environment and strengthening teacher involvement in anti-bullying strategies to improve students’ learning motivation.

Abstract

The problems studied in this thesis are: Analysis of library utilization in building a reading culture of students at SDN Gayam 3. The purpose of this study is to find out various student activities in the school library, to find out the library program in building a reading culture of students, and to find out an overview of the use of school libraries. To discuss the problems studied, the author uses a qualitative approach with a case study research type. The subjects of this study were the principal, students, head of the library, and teachers at SDN Gayam 3. This research was conducted on May 15-17, 2024. The data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and interviews. The validity test of the data used extended observation, increased research accuracy, and triangulation of data sources, technical triangulation, and time triangulation, and the results of the study showed several findings, namely the background of the use of the library in improving students' reading culture in the SDN Gayam 3 library. Based on the results of observations, interviews, and documentation conducted in the field with the principal, students, and the head of the library, it showed that the SDN Gayam 3 library played a significant role in improving students' reading culture, but there were several library roles that had not been fully implemented.
