Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to How much the level of household income of rubber farmers and What is the level of welfare of rubber farmers' households in Muara Beliti Sub-district, Musi Rawas Regency. The research conducted is survey research. The location of this research located in Muara Beliti Subdistrict, Determination of the location of this research is done purposively (Purposive) because the elected majority of the sub-district is a rubber farmer. The number of respondents in the research is 30 respondents with simple random sampling (Simple Random Sampling). The data processing method is using income formula to calculate the income distribution of farmer households with the Gini ratio and measure farmer welfare level with criteria of BPS (2014) and criterion Sajogyo (1997). Result of research The lowest income of rubber farmer households is Rp.1.040.000, and the highest revenue is Rp. 15.950.000 with an average income of farmer households is Rp. 2.152.650 per month, while the level of income incomes of farm households in the category is due to the Gini Index between 0.4-0.5 indicates inequality income distribution is. Based on the 2014 BPS welfare category, most of the rubber farmers are at a prosperous welfare level of 22 farmers or 73.33%. While at the level of prosperous as many as 8 farmers or 26.67% and according to Sajogyo criterion (1997) Number of farmers households that are on the criteria of almost poor is 5 heads of household (KK) or about 16.67 percent, this amount is obtained from the criteria of almost poor , for the number of heads of households insufficient state as many as 17 families and on the criteria of decent living of 8 families with an average head of household consuming per capita rice per year is 910 kg / per year included in the criteria enough. ABSTRAK  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung berapa besar tingkat pendapatan rumahtangga petani karet dan  bagaimana tingkat kesejahteraan rumahtangga petani karet di Kecamatan Muara Beliti Kabupaten Musi Rawas. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian survei. Lokasi penelitian ini terletak di Kecamatan Muara Beliti, Penentuan lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan secara sengaja (Purposive), hal ini dikarenakan dipilih kecamatan mayoritas bermatapencaharian sebagai petani karet. Jumlah responden didalam penelitian yakni 30 responden dengan penarikan sampel secara acak sederhana (Simple Random Sampling). Metode pengolahan data yaitu menggunakan rumus pendapatan, menghitung distribusi pendapatan rumahtangga petani dengan angka gini rasio dan mengukur tingkat kesejahteraan petani dengan kriteria BPS (2014) dan kriteria Sajogyo (1997). Hasil penelitian Pendapatan rumahtangga petani karet terendah adalah Rp. Rp. 1.040.000 dan pendapatan tertinggi adalah Rp. 15.950.000 dengan rata-rata pendapatan rumhatangga petani adalah Rp. 2.152.650 perbulan, sedangkan tingkat ketimpangan pendapatan rumahtangga petani berada dalam kategori sedang dikarenakan Indeks Gini antara 0,4–0,5 menunjukkan ketimpangan distribusi pendapatan sedang. Berdasarkan kategori kesejahteraan BPS 2014, sebagian besar petani karet berada pada tingkat kesejahteraan belum sejahtera sebanyak 22 petani atau 73,33%. Sedangkan pada tingkat sejahtera sebanyak 8 petani atau 26,67% dan menurut kriteria Sajogyo (1997) Jumlah rumahtangga petani yang berada pada kriteria nyaris miskin ialah sebanyak 5 kepala keluarga (KK) atau sekitar 16,67 persen, jumlah ini diperoleh dari kriteria nyaris miskin, untuk jumlah kepala keluarga pada keadaan cukup sebanyak 17 KK dan pada kriteria hidup layak sebanyak 8 KK dengan rata-rata kepala keluarga mengkonsumsi beras perkapita pertahun adalah 910 kg/pertahun termasuk dalam kriteria cukup.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze amount of income and calculate the contribution of organic rice farming to household income in Suka Makmur Village, BTS Ulu District. The research was conducted in Suka Makmur Village, BTS Ulu District. The research was conducted in September-October 2020. This location was chosen because it has a large number of organic rice farmers and has been used as a source of household income in Suka Makmur Village. Respondents in this study were taken based on purposive sampling method where all members of the population were used as respondent data in the study. This is primary data. Primary data in this study were obtained through interviews with questionnaires for organic rice farmers. Interviews were conducted with the aim of obtaining information directly from the respondents, which were related to the research topic. The number of samples of organic rice farmers were 77 respondents who were administrators and members of the organic rice group. This research used descriptive quantitative data analysis. The results showed that the average income of organic rice farmers in Suka Makmur Village, BTS Ulu District was 34,100,000 / year. The largest contribution of organic rice farming income to family income was 34.12%. This shows that the results of organic rice farming are the main source of income to meet their daily needs.

Abstract

This study aimed (1) to measure rubber tappers’household expenditure, (2) to investigate factorswhich affect to the rubber tappers’household expenditure, and (3) to analyzethe wealthy level of rubber tappers’household in Karang Jayasub-districtby using descriptive analysis and multiple linier regression analysis. The samples were 95respondents taken by using survey method. Moreover, the result of the study explained that rubber tappers’household expenditure in Karang Jaya, consist of carbohydrate (44,60%), non-carbohydrate (25,06%), and non-food (30,34%). The carbohydrate expenditure is the highest percentage among others. Wealthy level of this study uses 14 variables; types of wooden wall (35,7%), wells water resources (70,53), firewood recourses (22,11), river sanitation facility (26,32), types of tile floor/cement (68,42), primary education (54), light source of PLN (98,95), car asset (8, 42), motorcycle (85, 26), Polindes(66,54), floor space 8m2(58,87), wear per year (46,27) (1-2)per day (19,23), and incomeRp. 600.000/month (53, 69). Furthermore, factors which affect to the rubber tappers’household expenditure in Karang Jaya are the number of family memberand income which explain Fvalue(141,56) > Ftable(2,47). Therefore, it can be concluded that education, age, income, family numberand space positively and significantlyaffectto the rubber tappers’household expenditure in Karang Jaya. Rvalue square is 0,888, and explains that 88% household expenditure can be explained by age, education, family number, space, and income, while 12%is measured by other variables. Carbohydrate 44,25% is higher than non-carbohydrate and non-food, thus household in Karang Jaya has not been wealthy yet. Keywords: Household expenditurer, rubber farmers, economic welbeing

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Break Even Point the smoked skipjack business in North Sulawesi. This research is located in 6 places in the City and Regency of North Sulawesi Province with a total of 81 respondents. Date analysis in this study use a quantitative descriptive approach and Break Even Point analysis. The results showed that the Unit Break Even Point value was 312 kg. this means that smoked skipjack fish craftsmen can maintain their profit level in a minimum production amount of 312 kg. if it is less than the BEP unit, smoked skipjack fish craftsmen will suffer losses. This is also related to the selling price of smoked skipjack fish of IDR 62, 120 per kg. smoked skipjack fish craftsmen will not experience profit or loss when the amount of smoked skipjack production produced is only 312 kg. the value of the Break Even Point in the processing of smoked skipjack is IDR 19,395,909,-. This means that when the selling price of smoked skipjack per kg is IDR 62, 120 and the total production is 5,755 kg, then the smoked skipjack fish processing business will experience neither profit nor loss Key words : Smoked Skipjack, Break Even Point

Abstract

The purpose of this PKM activity is to increase knowledge, skills, and change people's mindsets regarding packaging and labeling techniques for processed cassava products. The service activity was carried out by providing counseling to processed cassava craftsmen in Sitiharjo Village, Tugumulyo District about the importance of good and attractive packaging. Good and attractive packaging and informative labeling will increase buyer interest in the products offered either for self-consumption or as souvenirs. Good packaging will increase the added value of the product which in turn supports the sustainability of the cassava processing business and increases better income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyse of marketing channel of opak cassava and analyse the costs and the amount of margin received by cassava opak craftsmen in M Sitiharjo Village.This research method uses a survey method with a case approach to opak craftsmen in M Sitiharjo Village, Musi Rawas Regency. The data used in the study used primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique of marketing institutions in this study using Snow Ball Sampling technique. The results showed that the marketing channel that occurs in opak products in M Sitiharjo Village has 4 marketing channels. The longest channel is from marketing channel 1, while the shortest channel is marketing channel 4. The highest marketing margin lies in marketing channels 2 and 3. While the highest producer's share lies in marketing channel 4. This is due to the absence of marketing institutions involved.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM is to increase knowledge about innovative processed cassava products that can be made into various kinds of food products, improve the skills of cassava craftsmen, empower people to be more productive, and create more modern processed cassava products to increase income.  The location of this PKM activity was carried out in M. Sitiharjo Village, attended by 10 opaque, sweet potato cracker and eyek-eyek craftsmen. The stages of activities carried out at this PKM are the preparation stage. The  enthusiasm of the participants in this PKM activity was felt when there was a question and answer session and sharing stories. The hardest thing felt by the cassava craftsmen was the marketing of processed opaque products. So that makes the opaque craftsmen not enthusiastics and not innovating to make new products. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that the craftsmen will be more enthusiastic and able to innovate fot the better

Abstract

This study aims to look at the Marketable Surplus of rice and to find out the factors that influence the marketed supply of rice marketed in Lebong Regency. The data collected are primary and secondary data. This research location was determined using the cluster sampling method with 94 respondents selected using a simple random sample. Data analysis used includes descriptive and multiple regression analysis. The results show that: 1) the marketable surplus of rice in Lebong Regency is 83.54%, the remaining 16.46%; 2) Factors influencing the marketed supply of rice marketed in Lebong Regency are: Foreign Revenue from Rice Farming and Rice Production. Abstract

In Kalibening Village,Musi Rawas District, the community has a high need for the star fruit cultivation industry. The purpose of this study was to evaluate starfruit cultivation and promotion methods used in Kalibening Village Musi Rawas District, The literature study method was used in this study. According to the findings of the study, one harvest of star fruit yields a total profit of IDR 5,039,094 after deducting the total production cost (IDR 4,412,938) of the total production and farm income (IDR 9,452,031). In Rawas District, there are three different ways to market star fruit. Carambola was originally sold by farmers directly to consumers. On the main road, sales of starfruit take place. Second, retailers buy products from farmers directly and resell them to customers. Third, star fruit will be distributed to retailers by wholesalers. Carambola then reaches consumers from retail traders. Keywords: starfruit, farming, marketing

Abstract

The research purpose is to determine the technical efficiency level and analyze the factors that influence technical efficiency of the Skipjack smoked fish processing business in North Sulawesi Province. The research method used is survey method in North Sulawesi Province. The data analysis used are descriptive and frontier production function. The production inputs are Skipjack fish, ice cubes, clean water, bamboo clamp, woka leaves, fuel, food coloring and labor. Samping technique with census as many as 81 people. The results show that Skipjack fish and water factors has positive and significant effect on production. The technical efficiency of the Skipjack fish business has an average of 96,17%. Seventy percent of respondent have range of 96-100% technical efficiency. Family size has a positive and significant effect on technical efficiency while age, education and experience have not. Variable of fresh skipjack and water have a significant effect on production, and there is still a 5% chance to increase production by increasing efficiency.
