Abstract

The purpose of this PKM activity is to increase knowledge, skills, and change people's mindsets regarding packaging and labeling techniques for processed cassava products. The service activity was carried out by providing counseling to processed cassava craftsmen in Sitiharjo Village, Tugumulyo District about the importance of good and attractive packaging. Good and attractive packaging and informative labeling will increase buyer interest in the products offered either for self-consumption or as souvenirs. Good packaging will increase the added value of the product which in turn supports the sustainability of the cassava processing business and increases better income.

Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyse of marketing channel of opak cassava and analyse the costs and the amount of margin received by cassava opak craftsmen in M Sitiharjo Village.This research method uses a survey method with a case approach to opak craftsmen in M Sitiharjo Village, Musi Rawas Regency. The data used in the study used primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique of marketing institutions in this study using Snow Ball Sampling technique. The results showed that the marketing channel that occurs in opak products in M Sitiharjo Village has 4 marketing channels. The longest channel is from marketing channel 1, while the shortest channel is marketing channel 4. The highest marketing margin lies in marketing channels 2 and 3. While the highest producer's share lies in marketing channel 4. This is due to the absence of marketing institutions involved.

Abstract

The aim of this PKM is to increase knowledge about innovative processed cassava products that can be made into various kinds of food products, improve the skills of cassava craftsmen, empower people to be more productive, and create more modern processed cassava products to increase income.  The location of this PKM activity was carried out in M. Sitiharjo Village, attended by 10 opaque, sweet potato cracker and eyek-eyek craftsmen. The stages of activities carried out at this PKM are the preparation stage. The  enthusiasm of the participants in this PKM activity was felt when there was a question and answer session and sharing stories. The hardest thing felt by the cassava craftsmen was the marketing of processed opaque products. So that makes the opaque craftsmen not enthusiastics and not innovating to make new products. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that the craftsmen will be more enthusiastic and able to innovate fot the better

Abstract

This study aims to look at the Marketable Surplus of rice and to find out the factors that influence the marketed supply of rice marketed in Lebong Regency. The data collected are primary and secondary data. This research location was determined using the cluster sampling method with 94 respondents selected using a simple random sample. Data analysis used includes descriptive and multiple regression analysis. The results show that: 1) the marketable surplus of rice in Lebong Regency is 83.54%, the remaining 16.46%; 2) Factors influencing the marketed supply of rice marketed in Lebong Regency are: Foreign Revenue from Rice Farming and Rice Production. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis rantai pasok ikan nila dan menghitung marjin pemasaran yang didapat oleh setiap lembaga pemasaran. Pengambilan data dengan survei dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Informasi tersebut mengenai pelaku usaha ikan nila. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan analisis margin pemasaran. Analisis kualitatif merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk menggambarkan rantai pasok usaha ikan nila. Metode analisis marjin pemasaran dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Margin pemasaran merupakan selisih harga yang terjadi di tingkat petani (harga beli) dengan harga di tingkat Lembaga pemasaran (harga jual). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat 3 pola rantai pasok ikan nila di Kecamatan Purwodadi Kabupaten Musi Rawas yaitu; Pola aliran rantai pasok 1, Pola aliran rantai pasok 2, dan Pola rantai pasok 3. Margin pemasaran yang diperoleh oleh masing-masing rantai pasok berbeda-beda. Margin pemasaran yang tertinggi diperoleh pada aliran rantai pasok ke 3 dengan persentase sebesar 100%. Hal ini terjadi karena pada rantai pasok ini pembudidaya menjual langsung hasil ikan kepada konsumen. Kata kunci : Rantai Pasok, Ikan Nila

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implications of women in rice farming in Purwodadi District, Musirawas Regency. Determining the research location using a purposive method, namely Purwodadi District, Musirawas Regency. The data sources used in this research are primary data and secondary data. This research used observation techniques, interviews, and library methods. The results of this research explain that the implications of women farming rice can be seen from the involvement of women in activities, namely seed preparation, planting, and maintenance. These results can be seen from the 100% percentage of seed preparation in the two villages, which explains how important the role of women farmers is in seed preparation activities. Furthermore, in planting activities, the percentage produced is also 100%, which highlights the important role of women farmers in rice farming. Meanwhile, in maintenance, the role of women farmers is quite important in the process of rice maintenance activities, as can be seen from the percentage results of 60–67%. Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to provide knowledge to youth organizations and the community about techniques for making snack bouquets and flowers as well as fostering skills and creativity and empowering youth organizations and communities in the Muara Tiku Village area to be more productive. The service activity is carried out by providing training in making bouquets to the students. youth groups who have finished school in Muara Tiku Village, the importance of this bouquet making training can create business opportunities for the younger generation and improve the economy. Bouquet making training can not only create business opportunities, but can also increase income. Training in making attractive and beautiful bouquets with very affordable capital, so that they can be sold with maximum profit. Making attractive bouquets will increase the added value of the product which in turn supports the sustainability of the bouquet business thereby increasing better income. Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu memberikan pengetahuan kepada pengrajin jamu dan masyarakat tentang teknik pengemasan dan pemberian labeling pada jamu tradisional yang berbentuk cair. Kegiatan ini juga memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan mengenai pengemasan jamu, cara memilih kemasan yang sesuai dengan bentuk jamu agar lebih inovatif dan kreatif dalam menjalankan usahanya. Kegiatan pengabdian yang dilaksanakan dengan memberikan pelatihan pengemasan jamu dan pemberian label dan merek. Pentingnya pelatihan pengemasan ini dapat menciptakan peluang usaha bagi masyarakat dan menambah pendapatan bagi pengrajin jamu serta meningkatkan perekonomian. Pelatihan pengemasan dan pemberian labeling dan merek ini dapat menambah nilai jual jamu agar lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan menggunakan gelas dan plastik biasa. Sehingga dalam hal ini akan meningkatkan pendapatan para pengrajin jamu agar menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the use of inputs affects the results of lowland rice production and analyze the economic efficiency of using subsidized fertilizers. This research was conducted in three sub-districts which are rice centers in Musi Rawas Regency, namely Purwodadi, Tugu Mulyo and Muara Beliti sub-districts. The research sample was 150 farmers spread across the three sub-districts. Data collection used primary and secondary data. Data analysis used multiple linear regression and Marginal Product Value. The research results show that the factors that influence rice production results are labor and urea fertilizer, while seed factors, phonska fertilizer, and pesticides do not affect rice production. The results of calculating the economic efficiency of subsidized fertilizer, namely urea fertilizer, have the value that the efficiency index value NPMx/Px > 1, namely 8.10. This means that the use of subsidized urea fertilizer is not efficient, and Phonska fertilizer has an efficiency index value of NPMx/Px > 1, namely 3.22. This means that the use of subsidized Phonska fertilizer is not yet efficient.

Abstract

Usahatani kelapa sawit swadaya murni di Kecamatan Nibung, Kabupaten Musi Rawas Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan, memiliki peran penting sebagai sumber pendapatan utama bagi masyarakat lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan finansial dari usahatani kelapa sawit swadaya dengan menggunakan data produksi, biaya, dan harga jual Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) selama lima tahun terakhir. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi analisis pendapatan, biaya, dan kelayakan investasi dengan menghitung beberapa indikator finansial, seperti laba bersih, tingkat pengembalian investasi (ROI), dan periode pengembalian investasi (payback period). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa usahatani kelapa sawit swadaya murni di Kecamatan Nibung layak secara finansial, dengan ROI yang positif setiap tahun dan periode pengembalian investasi yang relatif cepat. Analisis ini juga mengungkapkan bahwa meskipun ada fluktuasi harga TBS, usahatani ini tetap memberikan keuntungan yang signifikan bagi petani, yang tercermin dari peningkatan laba bersih yang stabil. Oleh karena itu, usaha kelapa sawit swadaya ini dapat menjadi alternatif usaha yang menguntungkan dan berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat Nibung, dengan dukungan kebijakan yang tepat dari pemerintah untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan stabilitas pasar.
