Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic as a non-natural disaster needs to be faced with responsiveness integrated disaster management that emphasized adaptability, collaboration and teamwork. This article analyzes public acceptance as a form of disaster response that can determine the success of the governance in implement disaster management through survey method. The research subjects are the people of the Samarinda City who became respondents randomly. Data was collected using online questionnaire that had been reliable tested. The result of the study find that the success of non-natural disaster mitigation does not always depend on cross-sectoral efforts between the government and stakeholders, but also depends heavily on the acceptability of policy targets. So it’s getting higher public acceptance of government policies, the chance of the implementation of the Covid-19 disaster mitigation success will be higher too. Because the management disasters in developing countries face great challenges from diversity characteristics of society that shape their acceptance of the policy.

Abstract

Frozen shoulder is clinically described as persistent shoulder pain and advanced exacerbation of the shoulder joint leading to upper extremity activity, significant disability, and functional limitations. The intervention that can be given to frozen shoulder is the administration of infrared which aims to stimulate heat and nociceptive receptors to feel warmth thereby increasing blood flow to the muscles and improving muscle stiffness and pain. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the infared modality to reduce pain in frozen shoulder patients. The research method used is a literature review approach, by searching for references using the PICO method. Results: From the 4 journals studied, infrared had an effect on reducing pain in patients suffering from frozen shoulder, with a therapy duration of 15-30 minutes and a p-value of p<0.05 showing a significant effect. Conclusion: infrared has the effect of reducing pain in patients with frozen shoulder. From the journals quoted, it is proven that there is a degree of reduction in pain when measured using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).

Abstract

DPRD memiliki fungsi representatif yang salah satunya diwujudkan melalui penjaringan aspirasi masyarakat sebagai bagian dari pelaksanaan fungsi legislasi, anggaran, dan pengawasan. Pelaksanaan penjaringan aspirasi dilakukan melalui kegiatan reses dan kunjungan daerah pemilihan (kundapil) yang dalam pelaksanaannya didukung oleh Sekretariat DPRD melalui pelayanan administrasi, fasilitasi kegiatan, serta pengelolaan data aspirasi masyarakat. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan untuk mendukung proses penjaringan aspirasi masyarakat di DPRD Kota Palu melalui keterlibatan mahasiswa pada program magang mandiri MBKM. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan di Sekretariat DPRD Kota Palu selama periode Februari sampai Mei 2026 menggunakan metode partisipatif dan kolaboratif dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa berperan dalam mendukung pelaksanaan penjaringan aspirasi masyarakat melalui pendampingan kegiatan reses dan kundapil, meliputi dukungan administrasi, registrasi peserta, pendampingan masyarakat selama kegiatan berlangsung, serta pengelolaan aspirasi masyarakat secara digital melalui pengoperasian aplikasi Sistem Informasi Pemerintahan Daerah (SIPD). Kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa membantu pelaksanaan tugas Sekretariat DPRD Kota Palu dalam mendukung fasilitasi dan pengelolaan aspirasi masyarakat secara lebih terstruktur dan sistematis.
