Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of spiritual emotional freedom tehnique (SEFT) to the vital sign in patients with renal failure in RSUD Ngudi Waluyo. The design of this research is quasi experiment with time series design. The population was all patients with renal failure in RSUD Ngudi Waluyo, while the sample was a part of the population that fulfilled the inclusion criteria of 29 respondents. The sampling technique used is non probability sampling with purposive sampling specification. Technique of collecting data with measurement of vital sign before and after given treatment. Processing and data analysis used in this research is with Wilcoxon Test. The result of data analysis shows that there is influence of spiritual emotional freedom technique (SEFT) to vital sign in patients with renal failure in RSUD Ngudi Waluyo, with p is 0,000. Keywords: SEFT, vital sign, kidney failure patient

Abstract

Abstract: The mostly problem during post surgery is pain accompanied by the appearance of physiological response in the form of peripheral vasoconstriction. One of the nursing self-care actions for non-pharmacological pain management is progresive muscle relaxation, autogenic relaxation. This study aims to determine the differences of pain level before and after progresive muscle relaxation, autogenic relaxation in patients which is Sectio Caesarea surgery at RSUD Ngudi Waluyo Wlingi. This research has been done ethical clearance test before result test. This study used quasy-experiment with two group pre test and post test design approaching. It sample were 34 people which devide in two group using purposive sampling technique. This study used paired t-test and independent t-test. The results showed the level of pain before progressive muscle relaxation was 6.00 and after progressive muscle relaxation to 1.65 whereas the pain level before autogenic relaxation was 6.53 and after autogenic relaxation to 2.25. The result of paired t-test statistic shows there are significant differences before and after progresive muscle relaxation, autogenic relaxation of pain level with p is 0.000 and the result of independent t-test statistic shows there are a significant decrease in the level of pain after progressive muscle relaxation annd autogenic relaxation with p = 0,017. Thus progressive muscle relaxation therapy and autogenic relaxation therapy can be a reference and nursing intervention in the treatment of postoperative patients, especially section caesarea. However, progresive muscle relaxation is more higher in lowering pain level than autogenic relaxation.

Abstract

Postoperative patients with general anesthesia who experience complications In the respiratory system, respiratory depression is found to be associated with decreased oxygen saturation. The Pursed Lip Breathing exercise is a non-pharmacological action aimed at facilitating the process of removing air trapped by the airways in an effort to increase the value of oxygen saturation. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of Pursed Lip Breathing on oxygen saturation in post general anesthesia patients. This study used Quasy-experiment With Pretest Posttest Control Group Desaign. The sampling used in this study was a non-probability sampling type of purposive sampling with 30 respondents divided into 15 control groups and 15 treatment groups. The test used in this study was to examine the differences between pre and post, intervention groups and control groups using the Wiloxon test then to compare the results of the post-intervention group and Post group control groups using the independent Mann Whitney test. The results showed a p value of 0.039 (p value less than 0.05) in the pre and post control group and in the treatment group p-value 0.001 (p value less than 0.05) This shows that the pre and post oxygen saturation values in the two groups differed while the post-test difference in the control and treatment groups was 0.015 (p value less than 0.05), so there was a difference in oxygen saturation in patients given general anesthesia and not used pursued lip breathing. Thus the pursed lip breathing has an influence on oxygen saturation in patients with post general anethesia. The next recommendation is the relationship of the value of carbon dioxide (CO2) levels that can affect the value of oxygen saturation.

Abstract

Postoperative patients with general anesthesia inclined to experience a decrease in body temperature, this study purpose to determine the relationship of body mass index, duration of surgery, and doses of inhalation anesthesia with body temperature in postoperative patients with general anesthesia in the Recovery Room of Bangil Regional Hospital. Correlation research design, a sample of 51 respondents using purposive sampling. The research instruments were observation sheets of body mass index, duration of surgery, dose of inhalation anesthesia and postoperative body temperature. Data were processed using SPSS 25. Pearson Test data analysis, body mass index (p is 0,000), duration of surgery (p is 0,000), and dose of inhalation anesthesia (p is 0.003). Body mass index correlation strength is strong (0.675), the duration of surgery correlation strength is sufficient (minus 0.407), and the dose of inhalation anesthesia correlation strength is sufficient (minus 0.560). It was concluded that body mass index, duration of surgery and dose of inhalation anesthesia were related to postoperative body temperature with general anesthesia in the recovery room at Bangil District Hospital, meaning the greater the body mass index make the higher the body temperature, the longer the operation and the higher the dose of inhalation anesthetics make the lower the body temperature. The closest correlation is body mass index. It is expected that in future studies can develop research by comparing differences in preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative temperatures.
