Abstract

Sentiment Analysis is a technique for extracting text data to obtain information about positive, neutral or negative sentiment. Sentiment analysis is provided by internet users on social media to provide a personal assessment or opinion. The Dhedsul shop that often gets user sentiment through social media is the Dhedsul shop. The sentiment of opinions from consumers about the Dhedsul Shop can be analyzed and used to obtain useful information for other customers and the Dhedsul Shop. By using the Text Mining technique, the classification method will determine whether a sentiment is positive, neutral or negative. One algorithm that is widely used in sentiment analysis is the Naïve Bayes classification method. This research uses the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) method with tf-idf weighting accompanied by the addition of an emotional icon (emoticon) conversion feature to determine the existing sentiment classes from tweets about the Dhedsul Store. The research results show that the Naïve Bayes method without adding features is able to classify sentiment with an accuracy value of 80.85%, while if the tf-idf weighting feature is added along with emotional icon conversion it is able to increase the accuracy value to 81%.

Abstract

Admission of new students is an activity that must be carried out by every school. To support the quality of the school, in the process of admitting new students there is a prospective student selection process which is carried out to select prospective students according to the criteria determined by the school. Likewise with SMAK St. Anfonsus, who selects prospective students. It's just that the results of the selection are sometimes imprecise and inaccurate because they do not match the criteria determined by the school. Based on the existing problems, a decision support system is needed that functions as a tool to help SMAK St. Anfonsus in the selection process for new student admissions uses the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method. Because this method is suitable for the decision-making process in the selection of new student admissions because it can determine the weight value for each criterion, then proceed with a chaining process that will select the best alternative.

Abstract

The analysis of public sentiment toward village officials in the distribution of social assistance is essential to evaluate the level of public satisfaction and the effectiveness of social programs. This study aims to analyze community sentiment using Natural Language Processing (NLP) and sentiment classification techniques with the Naive Bayes algorithm. The dataset consists of public comments collected from social media, forums, and online surveys. The results show that most public sentiment is negative, dominated by issues of injustice, delays, and lack of transparency in the distribution process. Meanwhile, some comments reflect positive and neutral sentiments, indicating satisfaction or opportunities for service improvement. The classification model achieved an accuracy rate of 84%, proving its effectiveness in sentiment-based policy evaluation. These findings are expected to help village officials improve service quality by increasing transparency and public trust.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology (ICT) is an important demand in the world of education, especially at the Vocational High School (SMK) level which prepares students to enter the digital-based world of work. However, students in class X of SMKS Efata still show delays in mastering ICT which has an impact on the learning process and their competency readiness. This study aims to analyze the factors that cause students to delay in mastering ICT as well as identify strategic steps to improve their skills. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the limitations of technology facilities, the lack of experience of students using computer devices before entering vocational schools, and the low intensity of ICT learning practices are the dominant factors that affect the delay in mastering technology. In addition, the difference in students' backgrounds in digital literacy and the lack of assistance during the learning process also slow down the development of their abilities. Nevertheless, students have good motivation to learn and adapt to technology if they are given the support of the right learning facilities and strategies. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that improving facilities, strengthening practice-based learning methods, and intensive mentoring are needed to accelerate students' ICT mastery. This research is expected to be the basis for schools in formulating ICT learning policies that are more effective and in accordance with the needs of technological developments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of community-based tourism innovation and community participation on tourism sustainability in Sumba Barat Daya, Indonesia. Employing a quantitative survey design, the research involved [number of respondents] local tourism actors. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the effect of both independent variables on the dependent variable of tourism sustainability. The results reveal that both community-based tourism innovation and community participation have a positive and significant impact on tourism sustainability (R² = 0.586). Community-based tourism innovation emerges as the most dominant factor with a coefficient of 0.420 (p < 0.001), while community participation shows a coefficient of 0.315 (p < 0.001). These findings affirm that the development of sustainable tourism relies not only on the level of community participation but also on the capacity of local communities to innovate in managing tourism destinations. The novelty of this study lies in integrating the dimensions of innovation and participation within the context of community-based tourism in Eastern Indonesia, thereby enriching the literature on Community-Based Tourism (CBT) and providing a foundation for policymakers to formulate strategies for sustainable tourism development. The recommendations include strengthening community innovation capacity, enhancing participatory mechanisms, and fostering cross-sectoral synergy to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1, SDG 8, SDG 11, and SDG 12.
