Abstract

FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) defines snacks as food which are presented or sold in side of road, in a public area, that has been prepared and cooked before at home or at production place. In this case, from 2001 until 2009, the data showed that Elementary students were poisoning as much 1.101 KLBfood poisoning. In 2011, there were 128 cases of KLB. In 2013, in Riau province, PJAS was out of standard for 52 samples, with 2samples, 1 formalin sample, 1 rhodamin B sample, 21 physics and chemistry samples dan27 microbiology samples. It was really a bad situation. The objective of this research is to find out some related factors to the snacks choices at Sekolah DasarNegeri29 Pekanbaru Tangkerang Selatan Bukit Raya in 2017.This is a quantitative research with analysis survey by using cross sectional design. This research was done on May 2017 with respondents are class I, II, III, IV and V of SDN 29 Pekanbaru Tangkerang Selatan Bukit Raya. The data was collected by giving questionnaire and it was analyzed by using univariate and bivariate chi-square tests, and also it was processed by computer program. The result shows that there is relationship among knowledge (P value 0,002, nilai POR= 2,561), students’ attitude (P value 0,000, nilai POR = 3,291) and teachers’ role (P value 0,003, nilai POR= 3,007) to the food choice practice.Finally, the writer suggests to teachers of SDN 29Pekanbaru and health agency to do counseling program about healthy food. In other words, students’ negative attitude about food can be decreased. Then, teachers’ role in supervising healthy food like healthy canteen should be increased that it can be applied well in SDN 29 Pekanbaru in term of food choice practice.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition where there is a decrease in the number of red cell mass which is indicated by adecrease in hemoglobin level <11 g / dl, hematocrit, and erythrocyte count (red cell count). The Indragiri HilirDistrict Health Office for girlsin 2016 amounted to 22.8% of 880, 201 young women who experienced anemia.General Objectives Describe and determine Determinants that affect the incidence of anemia in youngwomen in SMA 1 Reteh in 2018. This type of research is observational analytic with Cross Sectional researchdesign. The population in this study were all young female in SMA 1 Reteh with a total of 405 female studentsand the number of samples in this study was 198 students taken using simple random techniques. Theanalysis used was univariate and bivariate analysis with chi-square test. The results showed values forknowledge (P value = 0.001), eating habits for inhibiting iron absorption (P value = 0.001), menstrual patterns(P value = 0.001) and nutritional status (P value = 0.001) meaning that there was a significant relationshipwith the incidence of anemia. It is better for the SMA 1 Reteh to be expected by the teacher to provide anemiaknowledge to the students and put information on anemia. And it is expected that students consumenutritious foods to avoid anemia

Abstract

Kebiasaan Buang Air Besar Sembarangan adalah praktik membuang tinja disembarang tempat terbuka yang mengakibatkan pencemaran lingkungan. Berdasarkan data dari Puskesmas Dumai Kota, salah satunya yaitu di Kelurahan Laksamana. Dari jumlah 811 jiwa yang memiliki sanitasi belum layak masyarakat masih melakukan BABS. Hal ini di sebabkan karena masih memiliki pengetahuan yang rendah dan kurangnya informasi tentang dampak dari BABS. dan Ekonomi masyarakat terutamanya menjadi salah satu penyebab, dikarenakan pekerjaan masyarakat tersebut belum mendapatkan hasil yang cukup sehingga memungkinkan masyarakat sulit untuk membuat jamban yang layak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan sanitasi dasar, pengetahuan, sikap dan pendapatan terhadap kebiasaan BABS di Kelurahan Laksamana wilayah kerja Puskesmas Dumai Kota. Penelitian ini menggunakan desai Cross Sectional dan menggunakan teknik sampel Stratified Random Sampling. Sampel sebanyak 91 responden. Variabel Independen pada penelitian ini adalah kondisi jamban, sumber air bersih, pengetahuan, sikap dan pendapatan. Variabel dependen adalah kebiasaan buang air besar sembarangan. Dari hasil uji statistik Chi-Square terdapat hubungan antara kondisi jamban dengan BABS bahwa (p=0,007), tidak terdapat hubungan sumber air bersih dengan BABS bahwa (p=0,748), terdapat hubungan pengetahuan dengan BABS bahwa (p=0,031), terdapat hubungan sikap dengan BABS bahwa (p=0,004), dan terdapat hubungan pendapatan dengan BABS bahwa (p=0,005). Saran yang diharapkan masyarakat untuk mengurangi kebiasaan BABS dan membiasakan sikap untuk memanfaatkan jamban agar kondisi lingkungan bersih dan sehat

Abstract

Di negara berkembang umumnya sampah masih dibuang tanpa adanya pemilahan terlebih dahulu, seperti sampah Organik, Anorganik, dan logam masih menjadi satu, itulah yang menyulitkan untuk dilakukannya penanganan. Dampak negatif yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh volume sampah yang tinggi dan tidak dikelola dengan baik dapat berupa gangguan kesehatan, menurunkan kualitas lingkungan, menurunkan estetika lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengelolaan sampah anorganik di Desa Parit 1 Api- Api Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini merupakan peneltian kualitatif deskriptif yaitu dengan melakukan observasi dan wawancara mendalam. Sampel yang menjadi informan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 orang, variabel yang diteliti antara lain sumber daya manusia, anggaran, sarana prasarana, metode, tahap pemilahan, tahap pengumpulan, tahap pengangkutan dan tahap pengolahan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak adanya ketersedian tenaga kerja kebersihan di desa, tidak ada pengalokasian dana khusus untuk pengelolaan sampah anorganik, kurangnya sarana dan prasarana serta tidak adanya masyarakat melakukan tahap pemilahan, pengumpulan, pengangkutan dan pengolahan dalam melakukan pengelolaan sampah anorganik di Desa Parit 1 Api-Api. Disarankan  kepada Aparatur Pemerintahan Desa untuk mendirikan Bank Sampah di Desa Parit 1 Api-Api agar masyarakat lebih giat dalam pengelolaan sampah menjadi barang berguna sehingga sampah yang masih bernilai ekonomis masih bisa dipergunakan untuk peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat sekitar. In developing countries, generally waste is still discarded without prior sorting, such as organic, inorganic, and metal waste is still one, which makes it difficult for handling. The negative impacts that can be caused by high volumes of waste that are not managed properly can be in the form of health problems, reducing environmental quality, reducing environmental aesthetics. The purpose of this study was to analyze the management of inorganic waste in the Village of Parit 1Api-Apiin 2020. This researchwas a descriptive qualitative research by conducting in-depth observations and interviews. Thenumber of informants in this study amounted to 8 people, the variables studied included human resources, budget, infrastructure, methods, sorting stage, collection stage, transportation stage and processing stage. The results showed that there was no availability of sanitation workers in the village, no allocation of special funds for the management of inorganic waste, lack of facilities and infrastructure as well as the absence of the community carrying out the stages of sorting, collecting, transporting and processing in managing inorganic waste in the Village of Parit 1 Api-Api.Researchers suggest to the Village Government Apparatus to establish a Trash Bank in the Village of Trench 1 Api-Api so that the community is more active in managing waste into useful goods so that waste that is still of economic value can still be used to improve the economy of the surrounding community.

Abstract

SMPN X Pekanbaru merupakan salah satu sekolah yang mendapatkan penghargaan Adiwiyata tingkat Provinsi Riau tahun 2019. Program Adiwiyata atau disebut dengan program untuk bersikap dan berperilaku budaya lingkungan yang telah dijalankan pihak sekolah, pada kenyataannya belum berjalan optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mengetahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan perilaku membuang sampah, gambaran dampak lingkungan keberadaan bank sampah, dan karakter peduli lingkungan di SMPN X Pekanbaru Tahun 2020. Penelitian ini adalah survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Dilakukan wawancara dan observasi kepada 84 responden secara simple random sampling. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di SMPN X Pekanbaru pada bulan April 2020. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa p-value > ? (0,05) dengan variabel pengetahuan p-value (0,224), sikap p-value (0,213), dan lingkungan keluarga p-value (0,108). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara pengetahuan, sikap, dan lingkungan keluarga dengan perilaku membuang sampah di SMPN X Pekanbaru Tahun 2020. Gambaran dampak lingkungan keberadaan bank sampah di SMPN X Pekanbaru mayoritas merasakan dampak positif dan gambaran karakter peduli lingkungannya masih terlihat belum baik. SMPN X Pekanbaru is one of the schools that ever received the Adiwiyata award at the Riau Provincial level in 2019. Adiwiyata program or what is called by a program to have a certain attitude and behavior in an environmental culture that has been applied by school. In fact, it has not been running optimally. In generally, the purposes of this research are to determine the factors related to the behavior of throwing the rubbish, an overview of the environmental impact of the existence of a waste bank, and the character of environmental care at SMPN X Pekanbaru in 2020. This research is an analytic survey witch a cross sectional approach. The researcher did interviews and observations to 84 respondents by using simple random sampling. The location of this research was conducted at SMPN X Pekanbaru in April 2020. The results finding showed that p-value > a (0,05) with the knowledge variable p-value (0,0224), attitude p-value (0,108). From the results, it can be concluded that there is no relationship between knowledge, attitudes, and the family environment with the behavior of throwing the rubbish at SMPN X Pekanbaru, the description of the existence of waste bank in SMPN X Pekanbaru majority feel a positive impact and the description of character of environmental care still looks not good.

Abstract

Higiene Sanitasi makanan adalah suatu upaya pencegahan yang memfokuskan usaha yang perlu untuk menyelamatkan makanan dan minuman dari segala macam bahaya yang bisa menganggu kesehatan, dimulai dari sebelum makanan dibuat dan selama dalam proses pengolahan, penyimpanan, pengangkutan, sampai saat sedang dimana makanan dan minuman itu selesai untuk dikonsumsikan pada masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui higiene sanitasi pengelolaan makanan di Hotel Alpha Pekanbaru tahun 2020. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara secara mendalam dan menggunakan metode observasi dengan melakukan pengamatan dan pencatatan secara sistematis terhadap permasalahan yang diteliti, waktu penelitian 15 juni 2020 di Hotel Alpha Pekanbaru. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa keadaan personal higiene, penyimpanan bahan makanan, kualitas makanan sepenuhnya sudah memenuhi standar kesehatan. Hasil kondisi kebersihan peralatan masih belum cukup memenuhi standar, terutama pada tempat  penyimpanan peralatan masih dalam keadan terbuka yang bisa menyebabkan debu menempel dan vektor bisa hinggap dan lewat disekitar peralatan tersebut dan menimbulkan kontaminasi, serta peralatan juga diletak kan dalam keadaan yang ditumpuk dengan peralatan lain. Selain itu lokasi dan fasilitas sanitasi di Hotel Alpha masih belum cukup memenuhi standar, terutama dilihat keadaan dapur seperti masih terbatas nya jumlah ventilasi dan pencahayaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa higiene sanitasi di Hotel Alpha belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar, karena masih ditemukan hal-hal yang kurang memadai terkait higiene sanitasi pengelolaan makanan. Di harapkan lebih memperhatikan fasilitas yang ada di Hotel Alpha agar diperbaiki menjadi lebih bagus lagi khususnya dibagian dapur.   Hygiene Food sanitation is a preventive effort that focuses on efforts necessary to save food and beverages from all kinds of dangers that can disrupt health, starting from before the food is made and during the processing, storage, transportation, until the time it is being finished where the food and beverages are finished. to be consumed for society. This research purpose was to determine the sanitation hygiene of food management at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru in 2020. This research is qualitative, by conducting depth interviews and using observation method by systematically observing and recording the problems under research, the research time was June 15, 2020 at Alpha Hotel Pekanbaru. The results showed that personal hygiene, food storage, food quality have fully met health standards. The results of the equipment cleanliness are still not sufficient to meet the standards, especially in the storage area of the equipment which is still open which can cause dust to stick and vectors can land and pass around the equipment and cause contamination, and the equipment is also placed in a state that is stacked with other equipment. In addition, the location and sanitation facilities at Alpha Hotel are still not sufficient to meet standards, especially in terms of the condition of the kitchen, such as the limited amount of ventilation and lighting.  Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the sanitation hygiene at Alpha Hotel has not fully met the standards, because there are still things that are inadequate related to food management sanitation hygiene. It be hoped that more notice to existing facilities at Alpha Hotel so tha they can be repaired to be better, especially in the kitchen sector.

Abstract

Indragiri Hilir Regency Specifically for Tembilahan Hulu Village, there are 3 Units of Amrool Truck, 3 Units of TPS and 314 Units of Garbage Cans. The daily accumulation of garbage is about 0.5 tons, not proportional to the number of existing garbage cans. Quantitative type of research with Cross Sectional design. The research was conducted in Tembilahan Village. The population is the head of the family and a sample of 100 people, sampling by purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is a questionnaire. The chi square test results obtained there was a relationship between knowledge (p= 0.000 POR 5.235 CI =2.206-12.512), attitude (p= 0.000 POR 10.500 CI=3.987-27.650), availability of bins (p= 0.002 POR 4.295 CI=2.204-10.727), health workers (p= 0.001 POR 4.909 CI=2.022-11.918), and government policy (p= 0.009 POR 3,286 CI=1,410-7,657), against littering behavior. It is expected that officers will conduct counseling and health promotion through interesting media such as lectures, questions and answers, leaflets. Health promotion is carried out in a planned, directed, and sustainable manner to increase knowledge so that the community will be motivated to maintain environmental cleanliness and not to donate litter.
