Abstract

The use of data mining is very influential in everyday life. Data mining can be used for classification, prediction, association and regression. In data mining, there are many methods that can be used to process large data sets such as the C4.5 algorithm, naive Bayes, K-means and many more. The C.45 algorithm is one of the methods for classification. The C4.5 algorithm is a modified algorithm of the ID3 algorithm. There are several modifications made to the C.45 algorithm such as continuous attributes as well as missing values. The purpose of the following article is to see words that have been used by previous researchers with the C4.5 method and the results obtained for the cases discussed. The results of research conducted by previous researchers with the C4.5 method for classification cases received a fairly good accuracy value so that it can be ignored that the C4.5 method is suitable for use in classification cases.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see and test whether the effect of DER, ROE, Sales Growth, NPM, CR, Dividend Policy (DPR) on firm value (PBV) in consumer goods industry sector companies listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) year 2017-2019. This research uses a method with a quantitative descriptive approach. The population obtained was 51 companies listed on the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) from 2017-2019. Samples were taken using the purposive sampling technique. This technique is also often used by other researchers because the samples obtained are closer to the research objectives. The samples obtained were 20 companies. Data analysis used several analyzes, namely multiple linear analysis, the coefficient of determination test, classical assumption test, F test, and t-test. This study shows positive results, that is, if seen partially, this research shows that the DER, ROE, Sales Growth, NPM, CR variables have no effect on the Firm Value variable. Variable Dividend Policy shows that the opposite result and significant effect on the variable value of the company (PBV)  listed on IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange). Variable DER, ROE, Sales Growth, NPM, CR, Dividend Policy (DPR) simultaneously affect the Company's variable value (PBV) in the company consumer goods listed on IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange).

Abstract

The importance of Human Resources needs to be realized by every level of management in the company, in order to improve the company's development. This research was conducted by researchers with the aim of testing and analyzing the influence of communication, leadership and incentives on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. In this study, the method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Where the total population amounted to 176 consumers and the number of samples in this study amounted to 122 consumers. From the results of this study conducted by researchers, it was found that partially and simultaneously the quality of communication, leadership and incentives had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Jaya Anugrah Sukses Abadi. The coefficient of determination is 0.653 which means 65.3% of employee performance which can be explained by communication, leadership and incentives, while the remaining 34.7% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Abstract

PT. Cahaya Bintang Medan is a distributor of Richiwa brand furniture. The problems of the purchasing decisions were that the products price were more expensive than similar products from well-known brands, lack of marketing knowledge about the product advantages offered, and the consumers doubted the product quality. The research method used was the quantitative descriptive, the nature of research was the explanatory research. The research population is 192 respondents, by using the Slovin formula, the research sample obtained of 130 respondents, while 30 respondents for testing the validity and reliability with simple random sampling. The analysis method was multiple linear regression with classical assumption testing. The conclusion obtained from this research showed that the effect of brand image, price and product quality simultaneously has a positive effect on purchasing decisions. Partially the brand image of tcount 0.587<ttable 1,65694 and Sig. 0.558>0.05, the price of tcount 1.185<ttable 1.65694 and Sig. 0.238>0.05, the product quality of tcount 2.591>ttable 1.65694 and Sig. 0.011<0.05. The results of determination coefficient test Adjusted R Square of 45%, it means that the purchasing decisions can be explained by the brand image, price and product quality, while the remaining 55% are other factors not examined by researchers.
