Abstract

The purpose of this research is to (a) determine the factors that cause students to be underachiever; (b) determine factors that cause students are not embedded character of value learned; (c) know character planting and improvement strategies of underachiever students learning achievement to the extent that they should achieve through hear, see and do (HSD) approach, structure knowledge and CTL. Action research approach was conducted in research. There are two results of this study. Fistly the lack of caring and understanding to students and the lack of lecturers and parents knowledge on how to guide, care and let students learn addressing the root causes of student to be underachiever. Secondly, learning achievement and character values of the subject will be more improved and internalized into the underachiever students if the HSD,  and CTL approach is integrated applicated.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe the teachers’ stage of concern for the evaluation of primary school innovation and factors affecting teachers’ stage of concern. The approach used in this study was a descriptive study. Data related to factors affecting teachers' stage of concern to the evaluation of primary school curriculum innovation were collected in the form of forum discussion and study of related literature. While data on teacher's stage of concern itself to the evaluation system of primary school curriculum innovation were collected, classified, processed and analyzed by using the norms of the group in the calculation of percentile. The findings of this study were 10 % in a stage of awareness, 14 % in the stage of information; 2 % in the stage of personnel;12 % in the stage of management; 20 % in the stage of consequence;12 % in the stage of collaboration and 20 % in the stage of refocusing. Teachers’ stage of concern to the evaluation of primary school curriculum innovation was low. It was caused by (a) the lack of understanding of primary school teachers on information received, (b) lack of examples and evidence of the benefits of accepted curriculum innovation in school practices, (c) lack of training by trainers in applying new curriculum, (d) so complex in evaluating and (e) the curriculum is continually changing. (f) teacher involvement in implementing program and the training needs (g) adequate time to learn, practice, master and apply what needs to be learned about an curriculum innovation (h) teachers’ commitment to implement the curriculum innovation; (i); principal knowledge of educational change; (j) principals role in carrying out programs; (k) principals' moral support and active participation; (l) collaborative planning by teachers and administrators.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah memberi penyuluhan kepada para guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Gugus Mawar Merah Kotamadya Bengkulu tentang penggunaan media pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan motorik halus anak usia dini. Anak yang kurang memiliki keterampilan motorik halusnya, mereka akan mengalami kesulitan menampilkan akademiknya dan tugas-tugas kehidupan sehari-hari. Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini memiliki tugas untuk mengembangkan keterampilan motorik anak melalui pembelajaran. Agar materi pembelajaran pengembangan motorik halus dapat diterima oleh anak dengan baik diperlukan media pembelajaran. Keterbatasan pengalaman dan motivasi belajar anak dapat diatasi dan dirangsang melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran. Berdasarkan Hasil survey kami terhadap para guru diperoleh informasi bahwa para guru kurang mengetahui penggunaan media untuk pengembangan motorik halus anak. Melihat hal itu kami tim Dosen Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Universitas Bengkulu merasa penting untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada mereka tentang penggunaan media dalam mengembangkan motorik halus anak. Selama pelatihan para peserta aktif mengikuti seluruh kegiatan dan antusias dalam mengerjakan latihan-latihan pengembangan media. Sebagai hasil kegiatan pelatihan, rara-rata para guru Gugus Mawar Merah Kotamadya Bengkulu meningkat sangat baik dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan motorik halus anak usia dini. Dari hasil pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini disarankan agar kegiatan ini dapat dilanjutkan pada tataran implementasi pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberi penyuluhan kepada guru-guru Raudhatul Atfal Kabupaten Seluma  tentang bagaimana menyusun rencana pembelajaran baik rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Raudhatul Atfal merupakan salah satu bentuk satuan pendidikan anak usia dini pada jalur pendidikan formal yang menyelenggarakan program pendidikan dengan kekhasan agama Islam bagi anak berusia 4 (empat) tahun sampai dengan 6 (enam) tahun. Salah satu yang perlu disiapkan oleh para guru Raudhatul Atfal adalah penyusunan rencana pembelajaran. Penting bagi seorang guru untuk membuat rencana pembelajaran. Rencana pembelajaran yang harus dipersiapkan guru RA adalah Program Semester, rencana relaksanaan pembelajaran mingguan, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran harian. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, penyuluhan difokuskan pada rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mingguan dan rencana pelaksanaan membelajaran harian. Sebelum kegiatan penyluhan dilakukan, rata-rata  guru (94,1%) belum memahami komponen-komponen perencanaan pembelajaran. Setelah dilakukan penyuluh dan pelatihan tentang rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran mingguan dan  rencana pelaksanaan membelajaran harian), rata-rata guru (82,4%) sudah bisa menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hal yang masih dirasa belum dikuasai dan perlu ditingkatkan lagi adalah pemetaan kompetensi dasar dan pendekatan pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu implikasi dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah agar untuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat berikutnya dapat difokuskan pada pemetaan kompetensi dasar dan pendekatan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dalam mata kuliah metodologi pengembangan motorik halus Anak Usia Dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan 2 siklus yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan pelaksanaan observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Guru PAUD Semester 5 tahun Akademik 2020/2021 yang mengambil mata kuliah Metodologi Pengembangan Motorik Halus Anak Usia Dini sebanyak 72 orang mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan tes hasil belajar. Teknik analisis menggunakan uji statistik dengan rumus rata-rata, uji t dan uji r. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh 1). terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar setelah mahasiswa mendapat perlakuan tindakan kelas dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (p<0,05), 2) setelah diberikan tindakan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek terdapat rerata kenaikan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dan hasil belajar mahasiswa 3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan hasil belajar mahasiswa, 4) besaran peningkatan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatifnya memiliki hubungan negatif yang lemah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut maka bagi peneliti berikutnya untuk meneliti model pembelajaran berbasis proyek dengan cara tatap muka agar peneliti dapat membimbing mahasiswa secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran sehingga hambatan-hambatan penggunaan berpikir kreatif untuk memecahkan masalah dapat diatasi

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the teacher's process in planning thematic learning on social studies content during BDR (Learning From Home) during the covid-19 pandemic in class V of Bengkulu City Elementary School; (2) Describe the teacher's process in carrying out thematic learning on social studies content during BDR (Learning From Home) during the covid-19 pandemic in class V of Bengkulu City Elementary School; (3) Describe the teacher's process in evaluating thematic learning on social studies content during BDR (Learning From Home) during the COVID-19 pandemic in class V of Bengkulu City Elementary School. This type of qualitative descriptive research by analyzing the data collected in the form of wordsP, pictures and not numbers to get an objective description. The research subjects in this study were 5th grade teachers who taught at SD Negeri 53, SD Islam Al-Azhar and SD Negeri 29 Bengkulu City, parents of students. The collection procedure carried out by researchers by conducting interviews, and documentation. Data Analysis Techniques in this research by reducing data, displaying data and verifying data based on the research results obtained. The results of the study found that the Management of Thematic Learning on Social Studies Content While Studying from Home (BDR) in class V of Bengkulu City Elementary School, the teacher had made maximum efforts when faced with the current covid 19 pandemic condition by starting from designing learning plans that were made according to conditions. , the implementation of learning is carried out in accordance with the current situation and condition of students so that learning objectives are achieved and conduct an assessment / evaluation of learning seen from the cognitive aspect only because when they want to assess affective and psychomotor aspects, they are constrained by pandemic conditions so that teachers cannot make direct observations of students only. carry out an assessment in the form of a written test that is sent via the WhatsApp group only. From this condition, the teacher must be smart in managing the class so that learning can run according to the expected learning objectives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Analisis Rencana Pelaksanan Pembelajaran Tematik Muatan Pelajaran IPS Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SD IT TELADAN Kecamatan Kota Agung Kabupaten Tanggamus Provinsi Lampung. Penelitian  ini jabarkan penyesuaian perencanaan pembelajaran yang dibuat guru dalam masa pandemi covid-19.            Jenis penelitian yang digunakan peneliti adalah penelitian kualitatif. Hal ini dikarenakan penelitian kualitatif merupakan penelitian yang menggambarkan keadaan objek apa adanya di lapangan tanpa ada intervensi dari peneliti. Analisis RPP yang dibuat guru kelas IV tema 1 Indahnya Kebersamaan semester I pada bulan Juli – September 2021. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan kerangka acuan RPP surat edaran Mendikbud nomor 4 tahun 2020 tentang pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan dalam masa darurat Covid-19 di Indonesia dan surat edaran Mendikbud nomor 15 tahun 2020 tentang pedoman pelaksanaan pembelajaran dari rumah selama masa darurat Covid-19 di Indonesia serta melihat acuan RPP pembelajaran umum Permendikbud nomor 22 tahun 2016 tentang standar proses pendidikan dasar dan menengah.Rumusan penelitian yang dijabarkan peneliti sebagai berikut; (1) kesesuaian antara kompetensi dasar, indikator, dan tujuan pembelajaran, yang telah dibuat guru dalam RPP muatan pelajaran IPS, (2) kesesuaian bahan ajar yang telah dibuat guru dalam mengakomodir kemampuan pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap siswa dalam RPP muatan pelajaran IPS, (3) kesesuaian evaluasi kompetensi dasar dan indikator pembelajaran yang dibuat guru dalam muatan pelajaran IPS, (4) kendala yang dihadapi guru SD IT Teladan dalam menyesuaikan RPP berdasarkan indikator pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap meskipun pada masa pandemi Covid-19.            Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut; (1) guru belum menyesuaikan capaian indikator, kompetensi dasar dan tujuan pembelajaran pada muatan pelajaran IPS, (2) guru belum menyesuaikan bahan ajar yang mampu mengakomodir pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap, (3) guru belum melakukan evaluasi kompetens dasar dan indikator berdasarkan kemampuan secara holistik, (4) kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengembangkan RPP di masa pandemi Covid-19 adalah kesulitan  melaksanakan proses pada ranah pengetahuan yang menyentuh level kognisi High Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), penilaian keterampilan dan sikap pada muatan pelajaran IPS.Hal tersebut berdasarkan temuan peneliti bahwa indikator pengetahuan muatan pelajaran IPS yang tertera di RPP buatan guru hanya pada rumusan level kognisi rendah. Pada ranah keterampilan tidak terjadi kegiatan praktik apapun sedangkan pada muatan pelajaran selain IPS terdapat kegiatan praktik keterampilan. Pada ranah sikap, guru melakukan penilaian sikap bukan berdasarkan prilaku belajar tematik namun pada keseharian kegiatan yang bernuasa islami. Serta guru belum mampu untuk  memahami pembuatan RPP yang sebenarnya karena RPP yang dicetak adalah RPP hasil karya bersama dari jaringan sekolah islam terpadu (JSIT) pusat yang dipercaya sangat bagus untuk dilaksanakan karena menggunakan konsep model Telaah (T), Eksplorasi (E), Rumuskan (R), Presentasikan (P), Aplikasikan (A), Duniawi (D), Ukhrowi (U) atau disingkat TERPADU.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of academic supervision using the CoMent Strategy of school supervisors in an effort to maximize the STEAM-ED approach and the application of fractal geometry to Batik and Textile Creative Craft instructors at State Vocational School 5 Bengkulu City. The method used was qualitative descriptive method. This research was conducted over two academic years in the academic year 2019-2020 to 2020-2021.  In this study, the subjects studied were teachers in the competence of Batik & Textile Creative Crafts, totaling 8 people. The data collection in this study used testimonials in the form of learning logs and documentation. The data analysis was an interactive model of data analysis technique. The results showed that there is a high level of satisfaction in carrying out the learning process using the STEAM-ED approach and the application of fractal geometry, as well as the performance of the trained teachers. The adoption of academic supervision through the CoMent technique proved to be highly effective in maximizing the STEAM-ED approach and the use of fractal geometry for Batik and Textile Creative Craft instructors in their learning. The advantage of the Coment strategy is that it can streamline the implementation of academic supervision of fostered teachers in an effort to provide active, effective, meaningful and fun learning for each student so that they are able to think critically, be creative, innovate, have higher order thinking skills and be creative in solving problems through coaching and mentoring assistance activities.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a STEAM-based homeostatic module to improve students' cognitive abilities. The subjects of this research were students of the Biology Education Study Program at PGRI Silampari University. In the learning process, students are given an assignment in the form of a project to test honje fruit extract (Etlingera hemisphaerica) as antihyperglycemia, antihypercholesterolemia and antihyperuricemia. Module development uses a 4D development model, with define, design, develop and disseminate stages. The instruments in the research are validation questionnaires for material experts, media experts, language experts, response questionnaires and evaluation test sheets. The research results showed that the module developed contained steam elements and was assessed as appropriate by material expert validators with a v-aiken value of 0.91, media experts 0.91 and language experts 0.88. Student responses to the module were 48.44 in the positive category. Students' cognitive abilities have increased with an N-gain value of 0.64 in the moderate increase category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the STEAM-based homeostatic module is effective in improving students' cognitive abilities. The results of the analysis using the anova test showed that there were differences in the average learning outcomes between the experimental class and the control class.

Abstract

This study uses the weighting approach to evaluate decision-making strategies in order to rank the importance of the traits that a leader must have in order for the Cadet Regiment Commander to create a transformational leadership model. A decision support system's weighted sum or simple weighting method can be applied to issue solving through the use of Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). This kind of research is called mixed method, since it uses a survey methodology along with qualitative and descriptive quantitative research methods. The author, who is actively engaged in the research, is the research instrument in and of himself. The purpose of this study is to determine the respondents by means of a purposive technique, in which information for research objectives will only come from specific individuals or parties. The study's findings should determine which leader qualities are most important for creating a transformational leadership model. This will be done by applying the SAW method, which is based on five weighting criteria for transformational leadership: motivation and traits, knowledge, skills, and abilities, organizational culture, vision, and vision implementation. Of the five characteristics of the leader, motivation and traits are the criteria that are the top priority to be developed based on the respondents' assessment with a value of 22.3%. Where a leader must have the ability to achieve, ambition, persistence, passion, initiative, have leadership motivation and have the values of honesty/integrity, confidence, originality, creativity and flexibility/adaptability needed to set an example, encourage and motivate other cadets towards achieving the vision of the organization. Followed by weighting on other criteria such as knowledge, skills, and abilities at 20.5%, organizational culture at 18.8%, vision at 19.5%, and vision implementation at 18.9%.
