Abstract

           The purpose of this study is: 1) To describe the application of inquiry learning model can improve logical thinking of grade V students SDN.03 Gugus I Tanjung Agung Palik Subdistrict, North Bengkulu Regency. 2) To describe the application of inquiry learning model can improve student achievement class V SDN.03 Gugus I Kecamatan Tanjung Agung Palik North Bengkulu District. 3) To describe the application of inquiry learning model effectively improve mathematics learning achievement of grade V students SDN.03 Gugus I Kecamatan Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency. This research is a classroom action research with the subject of the research is teachers and students of class V A as class of PTK and class V B as experimental class in SDN 03 Tanjung Agung Palik I District of Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency consist of three cycles. Data collection through observation, assessment and test sheets. Data analysis using averages and ?: test (ti: test). The quasi-experimental population of VA classes is 15 students, consisting of 7 men and 8 female students. And as a class control VB class also consists of 15 students, consisting of 9 male students and 6 female students. The result of the research can be concluded that the application of inquiry learning model can: 1) improve students' logical thinking ability in mathematics lesson in SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik, 2) improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects at SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik, 3) The application of inquiry learning model effectively increase the learning achievement of class V students in SDN.03 Tanjung Agung Palik I District of Tanjung Agung Palik, North Bengkulu Regency, if through the preparation, planning, implementation, observation and reflection in quasi experimental research. Keywords: Inquiry Model, Logical Thinking, Learning Achievement.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) describe how to apply the jurisprudential learning models in improving students socialskill in social study lesson for 8 grade at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi, (2) to describe whether the application of the jurisprudential learning models could improve students learning achievement in social study lesson at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi, (3) to describe whether the effectiveness of Jurisprudential learning model application in improving students achievement in learning social study for the students at SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. This research conducted was classroom action research which combined with Quasi-experiment. The subject of this study were students of VIII SMPN 2 Tebing Tinggi. On this Research The data technique collection are use observation and Test. The technique of analysis data is  t- test. The condusion of outcome of The Research That Jurisprudential Model Learning effective for increase in social skill and student achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of part-whole methods can improve team collaboration and short service skills of students in class VII.5 in SMP 14 Kota Bengkulu. The research used Kemmis Mc Taggrat's class action research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII.5 SMP 14 Kota Bengkulu. Data collection techniques used were test instruments and observation sheets. Data analysis techniques used t-test. The results of this study indicate that the application of the part-whole method can improve team collaboration and short service skills of students well. The implication in this study is using the part-whole method, students are better able to implement teamwork as a whole and are able to perform effective short services.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to know the effect of cooperative learning method (Jigsaw and TPS) and cognitive style on students’ learning outcomes of science. The research was applied to 36 students on fourth grade of SDN 07 Kota Bengkulu, which are 18 students applied jigsaw and 18 students applied TPS. This research used an experimental method with 2 x 2 factorial design. Data was collected through questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used two-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and t-test. The results of this research are: (1) learning outcomes of students applied jigsaw are higher than learning outcomes of students applied TPS; (2) learning outcomes between field independent students do not have a significant difference with field dependent students; (3) there is an interaction between learning method and the cognitive style of students towards the students’ learning outcomes; (4) Learning outcomes of field independent students applied jigsaw are higher than field independent students applied TPS; (5) learning outcomes between field dependent students applied jigsaw do not have a significant difference with field dependent students applied TPS.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to develop the german language instructional material for the second semester class X SMAN 2 Bengkulu that can improve student’s speaking skills and vocabulary. This method used is Research and Development, which refers to  the development model of Borg and Gall with 6 stages, namely (1) Research and Information Collecting, (2) Planning, (3) Develop Preliminary of Product, (4) Preliminary Field Testing, and (5) Main Product Revision, (6) Main Field Testing. This research and development produce a instructional material based on comic  were validate by expert judgment. Effectiveness test shows that comic based instructional material applied in the experimental class can improve student’s vocabulary and speaking skill.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) Describe the application of Blended Learning to improve the independence of science learning students ;(2) Describe the application of Blended Learning can improve students' science learning achievement; (3) Describe the effectiveness of the application of Blended Learning in order to improve student learning achievementat SMP Negeri 10 Lahat. This research was conducted using classroom action research (CAR) and quasi-experimental research. Data collection methods in this study used observation sheets to measure the learning process and student learning independence and to measure learning achievement tests were used. This research was conducted in class IX E as a PTK class. This study produces conclusions: (1) the application of the blended learning model can improve student learning independence, (2) the application of the blended learning model can improve student achievement, (3) the application of the blended learning model effectively increases student learning achievement in science subjects

Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the application of the process skills approach in improving students' critical thinking, (2) describe the application of the process skills approach in increasing student achievement, (3) describe the effectiveness of the application of the process skills approach in improving student learning achievement. This research was carried out using Classroom Action Research (CAR) and quasi-experimental. The data collection method in this study used an observation sheet to measure the teacher's ability to apply the Process Skills approach and students' critical thinking abilities, as well as a test to measure student learning achievement improvement. For data analysis, the analysis used mean score analysis and t-test. Based on the results of research conducted in three cycles in class XII IPA 1, this research resulted in the following conclusions: (1) The application of the process skills approach can improve students' critical thinking skills, (2) The application of the process skills approach can improve student achievement, (3) The application of process skills effectively improves student achievement in Biology subjects

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Describe the relationship between grammatical competence and argumentation writing skills. 2) Describe the relationship between attitude towards Indonesian and argumentation writing skills. 3) Describe the relationship between grammatical competence and attitude towards Indonesian language together with argument writing skills in class XII MAN 1 Lahat.This type of research is a correlation study with a population of 287 people and a sample of 140 people. The method in this study is an experimental method by providing tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used are descriptive statistical techniques (deductive data analysis) and inferential (inductive data analysis).This research concludes: 1) there is a significant relationship between grammatical competence with argumentation writing skills in class XII MAN 1 Lahat. 2) there is a significant relationship between attitude towards Indonesian language with argumentation writing skills in class XII MAN 1 Lahat. 3) there is a significant relationship between grammatical competence with attitudes toward language together with argument writing skills in class XII MAN 1 Lahat

Abstract

This researcher aims to describe the application of the Discovery Learning Model in increasing the Indonesian Language Learning Activities of Class VII Students. I at SMP Negeri 2 Lahat, describes the application of the Discovery Learning Model in improving the Indonesian Language Learning Achievement of Class VII Students. I at SMP Negeri 2 Lahat. Research conducted on classroom action combined with quasi-experimental. The subjects of this study were students VII A and B SMP N 2 Lahat as the PTK class and the experimental class while the VII A class was the control class. The instruments used were the observation sheet and the test. The data analysis technique used the formula for the average percentage value of classical learning completeness and the t test, while the observation data were analyzed with the highest average score, the lowest score, the difference in scores and the range of values for each criterion. The results showed that the application of the Discovery Learning model approach can increase student activity and learning achievement

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of discovery learning models to improve the solving problem ability, and student learning achievement, and describe the effectiveness of the implementation of discovery learning models can improve student learning achievement. This study uses the Classroom Action Research method followed by true experiments. The subjects of this study were students of class XII MIPA 1 in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi. Data collection techniques used were observation and test sheets. Qualitative data were analyzed inductively and quantitative data were analyzed quantatively using the average formula and t test. The results of this study conclude that the application of the discovery learning model can improve students' ability to solve problems and student achievement, and effectively improve student achievement in class XII MIPA.1 in SMA 1 Tebing Tinggi
