Abstract

Denial of service is a type of attack whose purpose is to prevent real users from enjoying the services provided by the server. The server is a server that must always be ready to serve user requests, which generally operate 24 hours without stopping. There are several studies on denial of services (DOS) attacks, from research conducted there that examines denial of services (DOS) attacks on web security. Every attack carried out on the web application, every user accessing the web application will occur buffering data so that the user accessing the web application occurs obstacles and even lost data. General problems that occur in the DOS attack detection system (Denial of Services) is a way to prevent DOS attacks that are being carried out on an application or web system with a DOS attack detection system. The simulation of a DOS attack detection system (Denial of Services) made for this research as tool or media to find out DOS attacks that are happening on a local network. Simulation of a DOS (Denial Of Services) attack detection system is expected to be able to analyze every attack that occurs on the network locally and be able to analyze every attack that occurs on a local network simulation. In this research it is expected that the analysis carried out on a DOS attack detection system (Denial of Services) can be used as a reference as a detection of DOS attacks (Denial of Services) in general which is used to detect DOS attacks that occur in other applications

Abstract

Data mining is a process of extracting useful information and patterns from a very large data set. Data mining is also a process of finding useful information that can be used as a supporting tool in decision making. Data that is processed using data mining is able to produce knowledge in accordance with the expectations of technological development. Many techniques can be used in data mining, one of which is data classification techniques. Classification is usually used to obtain patterns or models by going through the process of using existing algorithms. Like the K-Nearest Neighbors algorithm. K-Nearest Neighbors is a case-based reasoning methodology that is trained with a stored case, and can be accessed to perform new solutions. There is a lot of data that can be used in the implementation of classification, but in this study the data used is a collection of water data to determine the quality and quality.

Abstract

Abstrak - Pada penelitian ini, noise dibangkitkan dengan menggunakan tools matlab dan dilakukan analisa. oleh karena itu, untuk mereduksi derau (noise) perlu dilakukan suatu proses perbaikan kualitas citra terhadap citra yang mengalami derau atau noise tersebut sehingga citra dapat dengan mudah diinterpretasikan baik oleh manusia maupun mesin. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode harmonic mean filter. Harmonic mean filter merupakan salah satu metode untuk menghitung rata-rata dari citra yang rusak g(s,t) pada sebuah blok area citra yang didefinisikan oleh ????????????. Nilai dari citra f(x,y) yang diperbaiki pada tiap titik (x,y) hanya dihitung dengan menggunakan piksel dalam daerah yang didefinisikan oleh ????????????. Tipe noise yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah gaussian noise. Gaussian noise memiliki intensitas yang sesuai dengan distribusi normal yang memiliki rerata (mean) dan varian tertentu. Penelitian ini menguji seberapa efektif metode harmonic mean filter dalam mereduksi gaussian noise menggunakan citra rontgen. penelitian ini menggunakan matriks 5 x 5 dalam sampel perhitungannya. Hasilnya yaitu berupa angka dari hasil metode perhitungan harmonic mean filter dalam bentuk tabel.Kata kunci: Harmonic Mean Filter, Citra Digital, Gaussian Noise, Reduksi, Rontgen. Abstract - In this research, noise is generated using MATLAB tools and analyzed. Therefore, to reduce noise, it is necessary to carry out an image quality improvement process for images that experience noise or noise so that the image can be easily interpreted by both humans and machines. This study uses the Harmonic Mean Filter method. Harmonic Mean Filter is one method to calculate the average of the damaged image g(s,t) in a block image area defined by . The value of the fixed f(x,y) image at each point (x,y) is calculated using only pixels in the area defined by . The type of noise used in this study is Gaussian Noise. Gaussian Noise has an intensity that corresponds to a normal distribution which has a certain mean (mean) and variance. This study examines how effective the Harmonic Mean Filter method is in reducing Gaussian Noise using X-ray images. This study uses a 5 x 5 matrix in the calculation sample. The result is a number from the results of the Harmonic mean filter calculation method in tabular form.Keywords: Harmonic Mean Filter, Digital Image, Gaussian Noise, Reduction, X-Ray.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini sangat pesat, terutama dalam hal penguasaan aplikasi komputer. Perkembangan ini terjadi mulai program, fasilitas, hingga perangkat yang ada di dalamnya. Pemanfaatan komputer telah banyak dirasakan dalam bidang sehari-hari seperti dalam bidang kesehatan, manufaktur, bisnis, hiburan, pendidikan dan lain-lain. Pemanfaatan pada bidang pendidikan mulai di impelementasikan di Sekolah maupun Universitas. Di kalangan Mahasiswa, tuntutan akan kemampuan komputer sangatlah menjadi suatu hal yang penting, khususnya Mahasiswa di Universitas Medan Area dalam menyelesaikan tugas perkuliahan, laporan ilmiah, Tugas Akhir hingga peraktikum dalam dunia kerja. Sebagian besar Mahasiswa ini belum terlalu paham mengoprasikan komputer. Jadi,sebagian besar mereka masih awam untuk mengerti pengolahan data menggunakan Microsoft Office.

Abstract

Internet merupakan media yang sangat populer digunakan dalam bidang promosi seuatu produk dewasa ini,dimana konsumen dapat mencari informasi secara mudah tentang produk yang mereka butuhkan terlebih pada penggunaan website. Berbagai vendor baik dalam bidang usaha besar atau menengah menggunakan website sebagai media promosi produk yang mereka ciptakan. Website dianggap sebagai media efektif dalam mempromosikan suatu produk karena jangkauan waktu dan ruang yang tak terbatas serta pengguna yang terus meninggkat dalam mengakses website. Melihat peluang pnggunaan website yang mendukung dalam membangun bisnis membuat Percetakan buku/ud Percetakan Pustaka timur tertarik untuk membangun Company profile Digital sebagai media promosi produk hingga pemasaran produk yang mereka miliki. hal ini menjadi suatu tantangan bagi tim pelaksana PKM dalam merancang dan membangun website yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Percetakan tersebut. Untuk membangun website yang efektif dalam pemasaran produk dan penyampaian informasi, dibutuhkan penerapan strategi tertentu sehingga website mampu mencapai hasil yang maksimal.

Abstract

Arabic is a language that is rich in rules and rules in composing sentences and understanding speech. As we know, a collection of Arabic languages ​​is found in the Holy Qur'an of the Islamic Ummah. In the Al-Quran there are many jar letters that have special meanings in each letter. In Arabic language rules, In the Letters jar is a letter whose job is to give a hard line in the sentence in front of it. The purpose of this study is to build a basic Arabic learning media in detecting JAR letters using the pierce similarity method. In building the system, an image processing theory approach is carried out. The stages of the detection system process begin with the file.bmp extension process of the original image, then resizing, namely the process of placing the image to the specified coordinate points, Grayscale, convolution or edge detection and distance calculation with Pierce similarity where this algorithm will store the value of bits in the pattern of letters that are trained and then will match the values ​​in the image to be tested. Input image is the result of drawing the verses of the Quran.

Abstract

Cancellation of bookings puts considerable pressure on management decisions, in this case from the hospitality industry. Cancellation of bookings limits the correct prediction and is, therefore, a very important tool for revenue management performance. However, in recent times, thanks to the availability of considerable computing power through machine learning approaches, it has become possible to create more accurate models for predicting booking cancellations compared to using more traditional methods. Previous research has used several machine learning approaches, such as Decision Tree, Support Vector Machine, Deep Neural Network, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest to predict hotel cancellations. However, they have not addressed the class imbalance problem that exists in predicting hotel cancellations. In this study, we have provided a solution by introducing an oversampling technique to solve the class imbalance problem, together with the k-nearest neighbors algorithm to predict hotel booking cancellations better. The results of this study show that an increase in the performance of the method's accuracy increased by 3.88%, precision increased by 9.00%, recall increased by 10.00%, and F1-Score increased by 10.00% in the hotel booking dataset. It can be concluded that the SMOTE method with KNN has a better performance than only using the KNN method in predicting the cancellation of hotel reservations.

Abstract

Salah satu tugas dan kewajiban seorang dosen adalah melakukan penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) STMIK Pelita Nusantara merupakan lembaga yang bertugas untuk mengelola dan mendata terkait penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa. Pengelolaan data penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat masih menggunakan cara konvensional sehingga tidak efektif dan efisien dari sisi waktu dan biaya. Oleh karena itu diperlukan sebuah sistem informasi manajemen penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (SIM-PPM) untuk kemudahan dalam pengelolaan dan pengontrolan progres laporan dari laporan proposal hingga laporan akhir. SIM-PPM yang diakses oleh Dosen dan Mahasiswa, butuh pengelola untuk memelihara atau mantenance, agar selalu dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan pelatihan bagi LPPM dalam pengenalan dan pengoperasian SIM-PPM kepada Dosen maupun Mahasiswa guna mempermudah proses pengajuan penelitian dan pengabdian di linkungan STMIK Pelita Nusantara secara online.

Abstract

Penyebaran informasi yang tidak merata membuat banyak masyarakat mengeluh dan berasumsi bahwa aparatur yang menduduki jabatan sebagai pelayan masyarakat tidak bekerja dengan baik. Sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah wadah yang dapat memberikan informasi yang akurat kepada masyarakat desa. Pemanfaatan website merupakan sebuah upaya pemerintah untuk memberikan tempat manajemen informasi kepada siapapun tanpa ada kriteria tertentu pada Desa pagarMerbau II yang terletak dikabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utar. Adapun tahapan yang dilakukan dengan membuat sebuah media website dan melatih aparatur dalam menggunakan website. Hasil yang diperoleh merupakan media website yang dibangun serta pengetahuan masyarakat dalam mengelola website.
