Abstract

Creativity is the ability of a person to produce something new; in the form of ideas or real works that are relatively different from what has been existed before. The problem formulated in this study is: Does the teacher's creativity have an effect on the success of learning Chinese as a foreign language? This research aims to: 1. Know the effect of the teacher's creativity on the success of learning Chinese language in the classroom, and 2. know the types and functions of the teacher's creativity to the Chinese learning process in the classroom. This research is useful for providing information about types and definition of creativity as well as what effect is drawn by a creative teacher to the learning process in the classroom. This research will also make it easier for the teacher to teach the Chinese language more creatively and appealingly. The research method used is descriptive qualitative that describes the situations that occurred in the classroom when the learning is going on with the creative teacher. The study was conducted in the Chinese Language subject in semester 8 at Japanese Literature Faculty of Darma Persada Universitas, Jakarta. The data collected were from observation, interview, and questionnaire.

Abstract

Batam City, which is part of the Riau Islands province, is a connecting city between Indonesia and Singapore. Batam City is located in a very strategic location in the border region between countries, neighboring one of the world's business centers, namely Singapore. For this reason, marine transportation has a very important role in maritime countries like Indonesia. The high intensity of Batam and Singapore transportation cannot be separated from the Chinese population of Batam which is a community group in the city of Batam. The existence of Batam Chinese has been going on for centuries, since they came from mainland China using boats. With tenacity, social networks and geographical proximity to Singapore, Batam Chinese people become dominant in the economy in Batam. This study seeks to show maritime aspects and shipbuilding technology and their relationship with social society through transnational concepts. With globalization, and to develop networks, people really need sea transportation to support the transnational process. For all that, maritime safety is needed which greatly affects the sustainability development efforts, especially sea transportation activities.

Abstract

Budaya kerja dan etos kerja di negara-negara Asia Timur tentu berbeda dengan negara-negara lain di dunia, di mana tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: 1. Pengaruh Ojigi dalam keberhasilan bisnis Jepang di Jepang.2. Mengetahui perspektif budaya dan etos kerja komunitas Cina. Abstract

Belajar bahasa asing pada usia dini bisa dimulai saat anak sudah mulai interaktif dan komunikatif dengan orang lain. Di usia 4-6 tahun, anak membutuhkan konsentrasi yang penuh untuk dapat menerima pelajaran dan informasi. Maka dibutuhkan metode pengajaran serta teknik dan cara mengajar yang mudah dipahami oleh anak-anak. Skripsi ini mengenai penggunaan metode pengajaran audiovisual (视听法) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Mandarin untuk anak usia 4-6 tahun di ECC (Early Childhood Centre) preschool. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode pengajaran audiovisual (视听法) dalam pengajaran Bahasa Mandarin untuk anak usia 4-6 tahun . Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif . Data penelitian berupa data yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan angket. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas ECC (Early Childhood Centre) preschool. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa metode pengajaran audiovisual sesuai dengan anak usia 4-6 tahun dilihat dari hasil angket dan wawancara. Karena metode ini menyenangkan dan mudah dipahami untuk anak usia tersebut.

Abstract

A research and development of teaching materials will focus on the development of the textbook that suit the needs of students, lecturers, and also the majors. The knowledge of culture and literature that has been studied in Chinese Language and Culture study program of Darma Persada University is not maximum and suitable for the students’ needs. So to adjust to the needs of these students, the making of teaching materials in this study will use the contextual based theme of Chinese literature and culture. The literature and cultural themes used in this study consists different types of traditional Chinese folklore. The methodology used in this study refers to Hutchinson and Waters theory that includes the analysis of the needs of students and teachers. The data collections are conducted using questionnaire in the 5th of Chinese Language and Culture Faculty of Darma Persada University which consist of 18 students and 3 lecturers in reading class. The data analysis used in this study is quantitative. This research resulted that the use of appropriate teaching materials and in accordance with the needs of students will result in more effective learning, better learning outcomes, and a positive response on student attitudes. The material for reading the context-based Mandarin literary works and culture resulting from this development research has also encouraged the students to be more active during the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini merupakan kegiatan lanjutan dari penyuluhan PKM yang telah dilaksanakan sebelumnya bertempat di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah Noborejo, Salatiga Jawa Tengah. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara online pada 1 desember 2021 dengan 11 peserta pelatihan. Pelatihan ini berfokus pada bagaimana cara memasarkan produk dalam media sosial yang telah dimiliki oleh para peserta pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini juga berfokus pada praktik pemasaran secara online. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan cara pemasaran produk menggunakan teknologi. Metode PKM yang dipergunakan adalah berbasis pada teori dan juga praktek dengan tahapan seperti penelitian tindakan kelas menggunakan 4 tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, refleksi dan pelaporan . Hasil yang didapat dari kegiatan ini adalah para peserta didik dapat beradaptasi terhadap perubahan di masa New Normal, diihat dari hasil post test yang menyatakan sebanyak 85% peserta pelatihan memiliki pengetahuan cara pemasaran produk secara online yang tepat. peserta didik juga dapat berkembang dan mengaplikasikan hal yang dipelajari secara langsung.

Abstract

Abstract The most effective and inexpensive media promotion to trade our products during the New Normal era is in the digital network, because people are currently still hesitant to leave the house. Entrepreneurship that has emerged on the surface today are culinary, services, and content creators. So that business competition in the network is increasingly visible and there are many business people who promote their merchandise through the internet network. Due to the problems mentioned above, we carry out our counseling on business and entrepreneurship opportunities with the target of providing suitable entrepreneurial alternatives in the New Normal era for the Indonesian people and the teachers of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah, as giving a counseling program which is carried out in a network using zoom media, the presentation of entrepreneurship theory from entrepreneurship lecturer at Darma Persada University and the testimony about entrepreneurship by a lecturer at Darma Persada University who has culinary business. The results of these counseling activities to the teachers and the employees of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah would hopefully be able to open their knowledge about the new ideas and creativities in entrepreneurship to determine the suitable type of entrepreneurship in accordance with the environment around Nobotengah village. Besides, we hope through this counseling there will be the new adaptable enterpreneurships which create their products uniquely in the New Normal era. Abstrak Promosi dagang yang paling efektif serta murah dimasa New Normal adalah dalam jaringan, dikarenakan masyarakat saat ini masih ragu untuk keluar rumah, Kewirausahaan yang banyak muncul kepermukaan dimasa ini adalah kuliner, jasa, dan pembuat konten di media social.Sehingga persaingan bisnis dalam jaringan semakin terlihat dan banyak pelaku bisnis yang memasarkan barang dagang mereka melalui jaringan internet. Dikarenakan permasalahan yang disebutkan diatas maka kami melaksanakan penyuluhan peluang bisnis dan berwirausaha ini dengan target untuk memberikan alternatif kewirausahaan yang sesuai di masa New Normal bagi Masyarakat Indonesia dan guru-guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul. Penyuluhan dilaksanakan 1 kali, penyuluhan dilakukan dalam jaringan menggunakan media zoom, penyuluhan berupa pemaparan teori kewirausahaan oleh Dosen Kewirausahaan Universitas Darma Persada dan juga testimoni mengenai kewirausahaan oleh seorang Dosen Universitas Darma Persada yang memiliki usaha dibidang kuliner. Hasil kegiatan penyuluhan yang di berikan kepada para guru dan karyawan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Tarbiyatul Islamiyah adalah munculnya wawasan dalam hal berwirausaha, munculnya ide baru dan kreativitas dalam menentukan jenis kewirausahaan sesuai dengan lingkungan sekitar dusun Nobotengah. Para calon wirausahawaan juga mempunyai kemampuan adaptasi produk sesuai dengan kondisi new era.

Abstract

This study discusses the historical analysis of the Japanese writing system hiragana, katakana, and kanji.  In Japanese writing, there are three types of characters: kanji, hiragana, and katakana. Kanji, which are derived from Chinese characters, are used for words with specific meanings. Hiragana and katakana, are also used as grammatical particles, words without kanji equivalents, and foreign words. Hiragana is used for native Japanese words, while katakana is used for foreign words and emphasis. This study aims to determine the history of the development of the use of writing systems in Japan. The problem of this study is how the relationship between hiragana, katakana, and kanji in the Japanese writing system. The method used in this study is descriptive analysis. This research was obtained through literature studies sourced from history books, journals, articles, and research results from the formation of kanji itself. The results of this study show that historically, there is a relationship between katakana, hiragana, and kanji that complement each other and are important for the Japanese writing system.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a significant shift in the Education Dynamics landscape, necessitating a move from traditional face-to-face learning to distance learning (e-learning). In the aftermath, this research focuses on the dynamics of students readjusting to face-to-face learning. The study, employing both quantitative and qualitative analyses, includes a field study with 56 Management study program students. Objectives include exploring how students adapt to resuming face-to-face learning and emphasizing direct interactions. Preliminary findings reveal a positive inclination towards face-to-face learning, though challenges like long commutes and financial burdens persist. The research suggests addressing these concerns to enhance the overall educational experience. A notable trend is the preference for a hybrid approach, combining online and face-to-face sessions, indicating a desire for increased efficiency and an enhanced learning experience. In conclusion, the study contributes insights for educational institutions to optimize the post-pandemic learning environment, considering both positive experiences and challenges faced by students.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effectiveness of task-based learning in the History and Culture Research Methods class. This approach focuses on engaging students through goal-oriented assignments that are relevant to real life. This study aimed to see the effectiveness of task-based learning on students' abilities in the Historical and Cultural Research Methods class and to find an effective implementation strategy. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to collect data through observation and research on ten Japanese Language and Culture Study Program students, semester 6, Darma Persada University, academic year 2021/2022. The research outcomes suggest that using the task-centered approach proves efficient in augmenting student involvement and active involvement in the educational process. The use of tasks that are relevant to the learning objectives increases student interest and facilitates learner-centered learning. This study underscores the importance of a task-based approach in learning Historical and Cultural Research Methods. In conclusion, this strategy can improve learning outcomes by stimulating active student involvement, supporting the introduction of historical and cultural concepts, and encouraging greater participation in the learning process.
