Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas fisik dan nilai kerja sama bagi anak-anak di kelurahan Mangunharjo. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan demonstrasi. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di RT/RW 02/01 Kelurahan Mangunharjo pada tanggal 7-8 Maret 2021. Peserta kegiatan ini terdiri dari 15 anak-anak berusia 5 hingga 14 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil pengabdian diketahui bahwa peserta kegiatan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman akan pentingnya aktivitas fisik dan nilai kerja sama. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan ini mampu meningkatkan aktivitas fisik dan nilai kerja sama bagi anak-anak.This service aims to increase physical activity and the value of cooperation for children in the Mangunharjo village. The method used is lecture and demonstration. This service was held at RT/RW 02/01 Mangunharjo Village on March 7-8, 2021. This activity consisted of 15 children aged 5 to 14 years—data collection techniques using observation sheets, interviews, and tests. Based on the service results, it was found that the activity participants experienced an increased understanding of the importance of physical activity and the value of cooperation. So, it can be concluded that this activity can increase physical activity and the value of cooperation for children.

Abstract

Yoga sports socialization is a community service activity aimed at increasing knowledge about yoga among the incarcerated population at the Special Rehabilitation Institution for Children (LPKA) Class II Bengkulu. To achieve this goal, a participatory community-based research method was employed, involving identifying partner needs, defining core issues, planning implementation, conducting workshops, practice or demonstrations, discussions, and evaluation activities. Partners involved in this community service activity included 20 LPKA student inmates. The activity occurred at LPKA Class II Bengkulu in Bentiring, Muara Bangka Hulu District, Bengkulu City, Bengkulu, 38119. The workshop was held on October 10, 2023. Analysis of the activities that were conducted revealed that partners experienced an increase in knowledge about yoga. Partners enthusiastically participated in yoga exercises. Additionally, partners committed to practising yoga independently using videos produced by the service team. In conclusion, this community service activity had a positive impact on partners and was effective in enhancing their knowledge of yoga.
