Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a futsal defense strategy training model for athletes 15-17 years old and to test the effectiveness of the futsal defense model for ages 15-17 years. The method used in this research is research and development. Data collection techniques using interviews, tests, and field observations. The results of the product effectiveness test by comparing the two groups; the treatment group using the product development, and the control group using the pretest and posttest designs. The average value of each group based on the test is the effectiveness of the experimental group is higher than the control group. The improvement of the futsal defense system for the age of 15-17 years at the time of the pre-test showed t-count = 13,405, >t-table = 1.69236, df = 34 and p-value = 0.000.00<0.005. Based on the comparison of the test results, the increase in test results for the experimental group increased significantly than the control group. The subjects in this study were athletes of Club futsal in Soppeng Regency aged 15-17 years and AFK Soppeng athletes aged 15-17 years. Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effects of structured long-distance running training monitored by wearable fitness trackers on body weight, body mass index (BMI), and perceived stress levels among overweight young adults. A quasi-experimental design with a pretest–posttest control group was employed involving 20 participants aged 20–25 years who were classified as overweight or mildly obese. Participants were divided into an experimental group (n = 10) and a control group (n = 10) with homogeneous baseline characteristics. The experimental group participated in a structured long-distance running program for 4–9 weeks, three times per week, at moderate intensity (60–70% HRmax), while the control group received only general health education. Body weight, BMI, and perceived stress (measured using the Perceived Stress Scale/PSS) were assessed before and after the intervention. The results showed significant reductions in body weight and BMI in the experimental group (p < 0.05), while no significant changes were found in the control group. Perceived stress scores also decreased significantly in the experimental group (p < 0.05). Pearson correlation and linear regression analyses revealed that training duration and frequency were significantly associated with improvements in BMI and stress levels. These findings indicate that structured long-distance running monitored with wearable technology is an effective non-pharmacological intervention for improving physical and psychological health among overweight young adults, particularly those exposed to sedentary lifestyles and elevated stress levels

Abstract

Pramuka Island, the administrative center of the Thousand Islands Regency, faces various social and mental health challenges, particularly among housewives who are vulnerable to stress due to multiple burdens, fluctuating economic conditions, and limited psychosocial support. Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is a simple and practical relaxation technique that can be performed independently, making it a potential community-based strategy for stress management. This community service program aimed to provide PMR training for housewives on Pramuka Island to enhance their knowledge and skills in managing stress. The training was conducted on July 11, 2025, at SMAN 69 Jakarta with 12 participants. The activities consisted of pre-test, education, PMR practice, discussion, post-test, and evaluation. Results indicated a significant improvement in knowledge, with the mean score increasing from 61.7 (pre-test) to 85 (post-test), accompanied by a reduction in score variation among participants. All participants (100%) reported feeling more relaxed and being able to practice PMR independently, while the majority (91.7%) experienced reduced stress and expressed the intention to apply PMR in their daily lives. Overall, PMR training proved effective as a simple, low-cost, and relevant intervention to support the mental health of housewives. It is recommended for integration into community-based public health programs
