Abstract

The food and beverage industry are now growing and varied starting from the price also the price as well. This causes business competition in this field Increases consumer prices in determining and selecting products needed by media promotions for companies to be able to compete with other companies. Therefore, the author of promotional media for Nomu9 Bites & Beverage cafe can compete with new cafes in Malang through social media in the form of videos on the Instagram and Youtube platforms. Social media was chosen because many people use it. It also cheap and measurable promotional media. The design model uses Sadjiman Ebdi Sanyoto, which starts with the background of the problem, discusses the data source, then passes the synthesis, the design concept, the design process, and the final design. The software used in the process of making this promotional media include Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Lightroom. Commercial ad format Mp4 has a resolution of 1920x1080 and is 1 minute long. Instagram story format Mp4, has a resolution of 1080x1920 (vertical) with a duration of 15 seconds. Supporting media include: Mp4 photo slideshow format, has a resolution of 1080x1920 (vertical) and has a duration of 60 seconds. The next writer is expected to be able to discuss the same with different media.

Abstract

Singhasari museum was building not only understand the legacy singosari kingdom but also singhasari museum has a strong and an opportunity in tour history. Yet singhasari museum has a lack of layouts in an information museum collection for want a media to have attention and information singhasari museum. This last project aims to produce an interactive and attractive design so that information can be properly. Yet the design method used by the author starts from the method of collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Then proceed with the data analysis method using SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Treatment) and then media planning and creative planning. In planning this interactive media, it displays layouts, typography, photography, and colors that are attractive and simple so that later information is well. By planning this interactive media, it is hoped that it will attract as well as become information about the Singhasari Museum.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) are one of the foundations of the Indonesian economy that was able to survive the monetary crisis that hit from 1997 to 1998. in 2012 and increased to 62.9 million MSME businesses including UMKM in the Malang city area (BPS, 2017) (Depkop, 2018) (YR Suci, 2017). As technology develops, SMEs are starting to take advantage of the internet network through e- commerce websites and social media as a means of buying and selling online. With this development, competition between businesses is getting tighter and more competitive. So that many of the same products can be found with different sellers and prices. The impact that arises from this intense competition is the development of the same product so that it does not highlight the main products of these MSMEs and only focuses on selling trending products. Based on the problems found, the Bandungrejosari Village, Malang City, requires accurate information facilities as a reference for developing information updates in the MSME sector digitally in the form of a website. Media Website was chosen because it can display information quickly and in real-time. With the existence of the Kata UMKM Website, it is hoped that it can expand MSME information in the Bandungrejosari sub- district, so that it is better known, especially for the people of the Bandungrejosari sub-district and Malang City.

Abstract

Beji Village is one of several villages in the Junrejo District area which is located on the main road to Batu City. Beji Village is divided into three hamlets: Krajan Sae, Sawahan, and Karang Jambe. Most of the residents of Beji Village work at home as tempe producers. However, the community is still not familiar with tempe made by Beji Village, including its processed products. This is due to the lack of promotion from the villagers themselves. Designing this promotional video requires several methods. Starting from the data collection stage which was carried out by interviews, observation, documentation, and questionnaires. Next, we conducted a literature study and conducted an analysis using the SWOT analysis technique. The promotional media used is video media. This promotion entitled "Tempenesia" which uses the concept of story telling and inserts the concept of soft selling of processed products in it. The final test results from this Video got a total score of 566 out of a maximum total score of 572 in the very good category.

Abstract

Indonesia consists of many islands and cultures, so there are many tourist destinations in Indonesia. It is appropriate to introduce tourism in Indonesia by having various tourism destinations. Many methods can be used to introduce Indonesian tourist objects, including current social media that can also be used to promote tourism. This study aims to reveal the influence of social media as a tourism promotion in the eastern part. In this paper, Instagram is the social media focused on researching eastern tourism promotion. Social media Instagram has a large number of users. Currently, the number of Instagram downloads is 1 billion. In this paper, data collection on Instagram accounts that have tourism promotion content will be carried out. Data taken, such as the number of followers and the number of posts, then an account will be determined, which will be the object of research so that later it will produce an analysis of how the Instagram account promotes tourism. Indonesia complies with the elements of the 7C framework

Abstract

Taman Nasional Bali Barat, sebagai kawasan pelestarian alam, menjadi habitat bagi flora dan fauna yang dilindungi. Data IUCN tahun 2002-2022 menunjukkan peningkatan tingkat kepunahan flora dan fauna langka setiap tahunnya, dengan merinci keberadaan beberapa spesies langka yang terdaftar dalam red list IUCN di Taman Nasional Bali Barat, antara lain Jalak Bali (Leucopsar rothschildi), Rusa Timor (Rusa Timorensis), Gajahan Timur (Numenius arquata), Tokek (Cyrtodactylus Jatnai), Kima Raksasa (Tridacna Gigas), Penyu Hijau (Chelonia mydas), dan Cendana (Santalum album).Pengembangan boardgame berjenis serious game digunakan untuk salah satu solusi inovatif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman anak-anak mengenai flora dan fauna di Taman Nasional Bali Barat yang bertujuan menyadarkan pentingnya flora fauna dan kolaborasi konservasi alam. Pengembangan permainan ini menggunakan metode design thinking, yang terdiri dari tahapan Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, dan Test. Proses Pengembangan permainan serious game menghasilkan boardgame kolaborasi yang dapat dimainkan oleh anak-anak berusia 8-13 tahun yang terdiri dari papan permainan, bidak dan kartu permainan.Pengujian boardgame dilakukan melalui model beta testing terhadap target audience, yakni anak-anak berusia 8-12 tahun di Kota Malang. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa permainan boardgame bergenre serius game ini berhasil memperoleh rekomendasi positif dari target audience, menyatakan kesenangan bermain, kegunaan, dan merekomendasikan kepada teman-teman mereka. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan boardgame bergenre serius game mampu memberikan kontribusi efektif dalam mengatasi permasalahan pengenalan flora dan fauna di Taman Nasional Bali Barat pada kalangan anak-anak.

Abstract

Di era digital saat ini, Fotografi menjadi salahsatu penunjang media yang sangat efektif untuk berpromosi. UMKM merupakan penggerak ekonomi bangsa yang cukup terdampak dikala pandemi saat ini, dibutuhkan sebuah solusi berpromosi untuk UMKM agar tetap bisa bertahan. Melalui fotografi produk yang baik, diharapkan UMKM mampu meningkatkan promosi dan mampu menyebar luaskan informasi produk secara lebih baik kepada pasar. Bimbingan teknis fotografi produk diberikan kepada beberapa UMKM di Kabupaten Malang dalam kurun waktu 2-3 bulan. Dalam bimbingan teknis ini, peserta diarahkan mampu memanfaatkan alat fotografi yang ada dalam hal ini adalah telepon pintar, agar mampu dimaksimalkan penggunaan kamera bawaan telpon pinter tersebut. Hasil dari kegiatan ini antara lain (1) Pelaku UMKM mampu menciptakan fotografi produk yang diambil melalui telpon pintar (2) UMKM mampu melakukan editing dan layout menggunakan aplikasi pada telpon pintar.

Abstract

Lateral thinking is the ability to think critically using unconventional thought patterns, crucial for problem-solving. This study explores the use of 2D animation as a visual communication medium to convey lateral thinking concepts. By employing facial motion capture technology, the animation production process was accelerated and simplified. A 2D animation prototype was developed and evaluated with 25 undergraduate students in the field of design through a comprehension test and survey. Results showed that 90% of respondents understood the lateral thinking concept after viewing the animation. These findings demonstrate that facial motion capture is proved effective in optimizing the production process of 2D Animations by reducing manual effort in facial animation. This research contributes to the field of visual communication by integrating innovative animation technologies for educational purposes. Future studies should further explore the application of facial motion capture in creating educational 2D animations on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ) and other interdisciplinary themes.

Abstract

Blitar Regency, which is located in East Java Province, offers interesting natural and cultural riches. According to Detik Travel, as of April 2023, there are 35 tourist attractions that attract the attention of visitors, making Blitar a popular destination. One of them is Sirah Kencong, a tourist area with unique advantages. However, the current sign system is still traditional and less effective in providing clear guidance to visitors. By applying visual communication design and semiotic theory, this redesign is expected to improve navigation, provide more complete information, and increase a satisfying tourist experience. Significant visit data shows the need to improve information infrastructure to support sustainable tourism growth. It is hoped that the implementation of an innovative, consistent and inclusive sign system can optimize the natural tourism potential of Sirah Kencong by presenting clear information and supporting the overall visitor experience.

The development of the fashion business is currently experiencing rapid development. This was marked by profileration of innovative and quality fashion products and a variety of loyal fashion followers. A paradigm shifts towards the function of clothing occurs, clothing function does not only to cover and protect the body, but as a reflection of personality, lifestyle, and social status. This has a broad impact on the fashion industry in Indonesia, especially distros. The word distro stands for various kinds of fashion products. Couple Distro is on of the distro located in Malang City. The TOWS method is used to analyze data that has been collected and will be used as a concept for design.
