Abstract

Organizational performance is a reflection of employee performance, but the employee's performance will be influenced byseveral factors both external and internal. One such factor is communication, based on the condition, the purpose of thisresearch is to know the influence of communication on employee performance. Sample on this study all employees of CV.Bintang Jaya Abadi Medan amounting to 38 people. The research uses quantitative associative methods aimed atmeasuring the influence of free variables on bonded variables, subsequent to the poll results analyzed by data analysistechniques in the form of simple linear regression. The results of the study expressed communication affecting employees 'performance in CV. Bintang Jaya Abadi Medan. The amount of free variable influence on variables is tied to 33.5%, while theremaining 66.5% is influenced by other factors that are not incorporated into the research variable.

Abstract

Company gives compensation in the form of salary to its employees so that their employees will feel more enthusiastic inworking. This salary will increase employee work performance in a company. The indicators for compensation are consists ofsalary, wages, bonuses, health insurance and pension funds as well as facilities to support one's career development inworking in a company. The formulation of the problem in this study is "How is the compensation given by CV. Jasa SumberAsahan Medan?" The purpose of this study is to analyze the compensation given to its employees by CV. Jasa SumberAsahan Medan. The research methodology used is a qualitative research method in which the data is obtained frominterviews with data sources used are primary data. The informants studied were employees at CV. Jasa Sumber AsahanMedan. The results showed that CV. Jasa Sumber Asahan Medan provides direct compensation in the form of salaries andbonuses. However, salaries received by employees are still below the UMP. While the indirect compensation provided by thecompany is in the form of leave taking for employees who are sick or misfortune.

Abstract

The objective of research is to known employee training at PT. Amir Hasan Medan. The Grand Theory in this research usingTriton theory (2010:107) explain that human resource training base on the place of execution can be classified into : on thejob training and off the job training. This research using descriptive qualitative research method. Data collection methodcollected by Structure Interview. Meanwhile, data analysis method using Miles and Huberman Method, consisting of datareduction, data display, and conclution drawing / verification. The conclution of research shown employee training thatapplied in PT Amir Hasan Medan, covers : On the job training which is Direct Practice and Off the job training wich isLecture. Direct Practice method apply for the new employee. The new employees will be supervised by the senior employeein two until three weeks for them to learn that new jobs. Lecture training method that held on a class meeting and for theSales Division only. In this class meeting, lead by a Manager or a Head of Sales division that give the tecniques ofmarketing such as communication tecnique, Custommer approching tecnique, closing deal tecnique, and ect. Theparticipant of this training is an Employee that the Sales was decreasing, this apply for once in a month.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT) at PT. Bank Mestika DharmaTbk. Capem Setiabudi, Medan. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method. Data is collected throughinterviews and it is analyzed in accordance to the analysis method proposed by Miles and Huberman. The conclusion of theSWOT analysis of deposit products at PT. Bank Mestika Dharma Tbk. Capem Setiabudi. The strength of this companyincludes owning a minimum deposit of Rp 1.000.000,-. and with a low penalty rate, it can attract customers to deposit themoney. The weakness of this company includes interest rates that are less competitive, which is lower than other banks.With a low penalty rate, customers have no difficulty with the 1% penalty unless their deposit amount is large. Theopportunity of this company is to have a promotional activity that opens opportunities for companies to attract the attention ofthe public. The better public view of banking companies and the increasing public awareness of the benefits of savingbecomes a good opportunity for banks. The location is strategic because it is located in the center of the crowd and it alsoprovides opportunities for companies because there is a possibility of being visited by the people around there. And thethreat of this company is about the banking regulations that can change at any time and increasingly become fiercecompetition conditions.

Abstract

Edu Smart Learning Center Medan merupakan sebuah tempat kursus yang bergerak di bidang pengajaran Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Mandarin. Dari informasi yang diperoleh penulis melalui wawancara informal dengan guru tempat kursus ini, diketahui bahwa ada beberapa guru yang melakukan pengajaran dengan Bahasa Indonesia. Seharusnya guru-guru tidak diperbolehkan mengajar dengan Bahasa Indonesia. Guru- guru di Edu Smart Learning Center seharusnya mengajar dengan Bahasa Inggris (all english) atau dengan Bahasa Mandarin (all mandarin). Hal tersebut menunjukan indikasi adanya masalah dalam pengawasan sistem pengajaran. Oleh karena itulah, penulis bermaksud meneliti lebih lanjut mengenai pengawasan sistem pengajaran di Yayasan Edu Smart learning Center Medan. Handoko (2003:363) menjelaskan bahwa terdapat lima jenis kriteria dalam proses pengawasan, antara lain kriteria berdasarkan Standarisasi, Penentuan Penilaian, Penentuan Kegiatan, Perbandingan Standar dengan Pelaksanaan Nyata dan Hasil Evaluasi. Adapun metode dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah metode wawancara terstruktur. Dari wawancara yang telah dilakukan dengan sejumlah narasumber lalu menghubungkannya dengan Handoko (2003:363) menjelaskan bahwa terdapat lima jenis kriteria dalam proses pengawasan, penulis memperoleh kesimpulan mengenai pengawasan system pengajaran di Edu Smart learning Center Medan pada tahun 2015. Tingkat pengawasan dapat digolongkan baik. Secara garis besar, pengawasan yang diterapkan di Edu Smart sudah tergolong baik tetapi ada juga kelemahan pada pengawasan absensi yaitu guru-guru libur seenaknya. Guru-guru memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan sesuai dengan bidangnya masing-masing. Pengukuran kegiatan guru sangat jarang dilakukan inilah kelemahan dari itu maka tidak dapat diketahui apa saja yang dilakukan guru pada saat mengajar. Guru-guru di Edu Smart sebagian besar tidak membuat laporan tentang pengajaran mereka tetapi ada juga yang membuat laporan tersebut ini membuat susahnya pengukuran pengawasan
