Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru PKn dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Parbuluan Kabupaten Dairi Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 serta untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriftif, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran guru PKn dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa sangat penting, seorang guru harus mampu berperan sebagai fasilitator, pengelola, demonstrator dan evaluator. Hal yang dilakukan untuk memotivasi siswa dengan membangun suasanan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, metode pembelajaran yang beragam dan menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Adapun faktor pendukung motivasi siswa terdiri atas faktor intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Faktor intrinsik seperti rasa ingin tahu dan keinginan meraih cita-cita, sedangkan faktor ekstrinsik seperti keluarga yang rukun dan lingkungan yang baik. Faktor penghambat motivasi belajar siswa terdiri atas faktor internal dan eksternal, faktor internal yang menghambat motivasi belajar siswa seperti kondisi fisik yang kurang sempurna, kecerdasan, minat dan perhatian siswa dalam mengikuti pembelajaran, sedangkan faktor eksternal seperti kondisi keluarga yang kurang baik, perekonomian yang kurang stabil dan kondisi lingkungan siswa. Sehingga peran seorang guru sangat penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dalam diri siswa Abstract This study aims to determine the role of Civics teachers in increasing the learning motivation of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Parbuluan, Dairi Regency, in the 2022/2023 academic year and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in increasing student learning motivation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of Civics teachers in increasing student learning motivation is very important, a teacher must be able to act as a facilitator, manager, demonstrator and evaluator. This is done to motivate students by building a fun learning atmosphere, a variety of learning methods and creating a conducive learning atmosphere. The supporting factors of student motivation consist of intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors such as curiosity and the desire to achieve goals, while extrinsic factors such as a harmonious family and a good environment. Inhibiting factors of student learning motivation consist of internal and external factors, internal factors that hinder student learning motivation such as imperfect physical condition, intelligence, interest and attention of students in participating in learning, while external factors such as unfavorable family conditions, a less stable economy and environmental conditions of students. So the role of a teacher is very important in increasing motivation to learn in students. Keyword: The role of the teacher, increasing learning motivation.

Abstract

Community Service activities carried out by students do not mean teaching the community about what is best for them, but carrying out empowerment as a process of searching (research) carried out together to find the best way to solve the problems they face. Students carry out the task of assisting what is needed by the community in dealing with social problems that exist in their midst. This method is considered to play an important role because of a number of benefits. In children, reading can be seen as simply sounding strings of letters or letters, writing means writing letters together, and counting means simply adding, multiplying, and dividing.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi warga bergotong royong dalam membangun desa Barusjahe yang lebih baik. Lokasi yang menjadi tempat pengabdian ini yaitu di desa Barusjahe kecamatan Barusjahe kabupaten Karo. Untuk mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini beberapa metode atau cara telah dilakukan yaitu mencakup program inti dan program tambahan seperti melakukan himbauan kepada warga Desa Barusjahe sehubungan dengan pentingnya bergotong royong dalam rangka memperbaiki sarana dan prasarana lingkungan sekitar. Hal ini sangat penting dilakukan agar warga Desa Barusjahe memiliki kesadaran dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan khususnya. Hasil nyata dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini lebih peduli terhadap lingkungan dan dapat beradaptasi lebih lanjut terhadap kebiasaan rutin menjaga lingkungan guna membantu pengembangan desa yang lebih baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of discovery learning models on student learning outcomes in class VII heat material at SMP Negeri 2 Manduamas with quasi-experimental research methods and the population in the study, namely class VII SMP students with a total sample of 82 students. The sampling technique is Cluster Sampling. The instrument used was the test of learning outcomes in the form of multiple choice as many as 20. Before being given treatment to the two classes, the results obtained - the average pretest score for the experimental class was 49.63 and the average score for the control class was 49.44. After being given different treatments, the average posttest score for the experimental class was 74.26 and the average posttest score for the control class was 64.26. The results of the posttest data prerequisite test stated that the sample was normally distributed and homogeneous. Then, a one-sided t-test (a = 0.05) was performed with the condition that t count > t table or 4.13 > 1.67. So it can be said that there is a significant effect of discovery learning model on student learning outcomes in heat material for class VII SMP.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the problem-based learning model on student learning outcomes in the material pressure of class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Manduamas. This type of research is quasi-experimental, the research sample consists of two classes, namely VIII-C as the experimental class and VIII-B as the control class, each consisting of 30 students. The research instrument is a learning activity observation sheet and multiple-choice objective tests to determine student learning outcomes. Based on the calculation of the t-test of the two parties, the pretest data = 0.05, it was obtained that H0 was accepted, that the initial abilities of the experimental class and control class students were the same. After being given different treatment, the results of the one-sided t-test calculation for posttest data for =0.05 were obtained tcount = 3.80 and ttable = 1.67 with tcount > ttable, then Ha was accepted. The relationship of each variable has a significant effect with the regression equation = 1.27 + 1.00X. So it was concluded that there was a significant effect of the problem-based learning model on the learning outcomes of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Manduamas.
