Abstract

This study aims to elevate motivation to learn social studies of fourth grade students of SDNegeri I Tempursari Klaten, academic year 2013/2014. This research is a classroom actionresearch. The subjects in this study were the teacher and fourth grade students. The datacollection techniques used are observation, testing, and documentation. The data analysistechnique used is interactive qualitative analysis through three stages, i.e. data reduction,data exposure and conclusion construction. The results showed that there is an increase instudents’ motivation at the second cycle that reaches 80 % of the initial condition, 33.33 %. It is evident that the number of students who are 1) enthusiastic students in participatinglearning social studies reached 80% of total students; 2) active in the learning process reached80%; 3) working diligently in the testing was 86.67%; 4) able to create a conducive learningenvironment reached 80%; 5) able to work on the problems well reached 86.67 %. Therefore,it can be concluded from this study that the learning strategy, everyone is a teacherhere, can increase the students’ motivation in learning social study.

Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul Kajian Psikologi Humanistik Abraham Maslow pada Tokoh Utama dalam Novel Surat Dahlan Karya Khrisna Pabicara bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek psikologis humanistik serta memberikan interpretasi mengenai psikologi humanistik dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra, yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran sastra. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah novel Surat Dahlan yang diterbitkan oleh PT Mizan Publika. Fokus penelitian berupa kajian psikologi humanistik, pada hierarki kebutuhan yaitu, the physiological needs (kebutuhan fisiologis), the safety needs (kebutuhan rasa aman), the belongingness and love needs (kebutuhan cinta dan rasa memiliki-dimiliki), the esteem needs (kebutuhan harga diri), the needs for self-actualization (kebutuhan aktualisasi diri). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah desktriptif-kualitatif Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, the physiological needs, tokoh utama (Dahlan) berupa pemenuhan makan dan tidur, tercapainya kebutuhan fisiologis Dahlan, ketika ia menemukan makanan yang telah disiapkan untuknya. The safety needs dibutuhkan Dahlan, dalam bentuk perlindungan dan kebebasan dari kejaran tentara. Terpenuhinya kebutuhan rasa aman Dahlan ketika ia terbebas dari kejaran tentara. The belongingness and love needs, dibutuhkan Dahlan dalam bentuk cinta dan kasih sayang dari lawan jenis, yaitu Nafsiah. Kebutuhan ini terpenuhi, ketika Dahlan berhasil menikahi Nafsiah. The esteem needs, yang pertama kali Dahlan dapatkan adalah pujian, pengakuan dan kepercayaan. Seiring melesatnya karir Dahlan, ia mendapatkan lebih banyak kebutuhan harga diri. The needs for selfactualization adalah kebutuhan terakhir, yang berhasil Dahlan penuhi, dibuktikan dengan Dahlan memiliki sifat jujur, pantang menyerah, menghargai orang lain dan menyukai tantangan.

Abstract

Model Project Based Learning adalah salah satu model yang banyak dipakai oleh para pendidik pada kegiatan Belajar Dari Rumah seperti sekarang. Kegiatan Belajar Dari Rumah dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning dianggap mampu menjadi pengaruh dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik sekaligus kerja sama antara peserta didik dan orang tua. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari model Project Based Learning yang diterapkan selama kegiatan Belajar Dari Rumah di kelas 4 SDN Grogol Utara 16 Jakarta Selatan terhadap peningkatan motivasi belajar dan kerja sama peserta didik dengan orang tuanya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan penjelasan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian melalui lembar pengisian kuesioner dalam Google Form yang disebarkan melalui grup WhatsApp kelas. Hasil yang diperoleh berdasarkan data yang dianalisis kemudian ditarik kesimpulannya adalah bahwa model Project Based Learning memiliki pengaruh terhadap meningkatnya motivasi belajar peserta didik sekaligus kerja sama antara peserta didik dengan orang tuanya. Hal tersebut dibuktikan oleh beberapa jawaban dari kuesioner yang diisi oleh orang tua dan peserta didik

Abstract

History in the twenty-first century, which must be oriented towards digital teaching materials. Historical learning can be drawn from some of the experiences that teachers do in the classroom. This research aims to explain the teaching materials used, explain the procedures for the development of digital teaching materials, test the effectiveness of the development of digital teaching materials. This development research procedure uses Research and Development (RND) with addie development model, data collection is done using questionnaires, observations, interviews and tests. The results of this study showed that the learning model used in Sma Negeri 3 Kuningan is still conventional and only uses one textbook, then the use of power points is less than optimal. The use of ADDIE design development products consists of five stages. The first analysis was conducted to analyze the need for digital teaching materials to improve the historical literacy of students at Sma Negeri 3 Kuningan. Both designs or product design stages consisting of the history of the Kingdom of Kuningan, the kings - kings who first occupied kuningan territory, and the teachings of madrais religion in the Cigugur area of Kuningan regency, syllabus adjustment, achievement of indicators, and RPP. The third development or product development stage is the process of validating product trial experts and conducting trials. And the fourth, implementation or implementation stage is the implementation of the final product or final product; and five evaluation or evaluation stages of effectiveness tests in experimental classes and control classes. The effectiveness of the Kuningan Kingdom teaching materials showed that the results of the historical literacy test with a signification value of 0.001<0.05. The results show that there is a significant influence on the use of digital teaching materials of the Kingdom of Kuningan during the Dutch East Indies through the inquiry model to improve historical literacy.

Abstract

Workshop on Improving Skills Debate of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 and 3 Ciputat. Which of course is very interesting for students. Through this method students do not feel patronized but they are expected to have their own way how to understand the implementation of an interesting debate because students find themselves an interesting debate style and presented in an interesting  way that teachers and students need to develop,  this can add self-confidence to students. At the time of implementation, the practice of the debate focused on students' activeness in speaking / arguing in the debate. Both groups who will argue either as a negation group or affirmation group play an active role and produce brilliant ideas. After the debate practice, the team will provide its assessment and commentary on the practice of the debate that has been done. Assessment is given as objectively as possible based on a prepared table. The aspects assessed include: The accuracy and authenticity of ideas, the ability to argue,  understanding,  accuracy of  words and sentences, and fluency in conveying ideas. The results obtained after the students were taught using inquiry method and interactive video learning media, there was an increase of results and according to what was expected. The results of the training activities were responded and the questions conveyed by the participants to the Community Service Team  (Tim Pengabdian Masyarakat = TPM). Responses and questions  indicate high interest and curiosity towards the improvement of student debate skills of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 and 3 Ciputat. Thus this training activity is considered successful. The expected outcomes from this Community Service Activity are students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Ciputat and SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Ciputat can improve their speaking ability through debate activities. In addition the team will create a scientific article that will be published in the journal ISSNKey word: Debate, Inquiry, Skills, Video Interactive

Abstract

Reading is a fundamental ability for students to be able to follow learning at school. The ability to read is very necessary in learning in the classroom. But today there are still elementary school students who incidentally were already able to read the beginning, but in reality they are still not. It is feared that it will hinder the learning process in class. Based on the background of this problem, the researcher wanted to observe students with reading difficulties at the lower grade level at SDN Polokarto 01. Based on the teacher's report when the researcher attended the Teaching Campus program, the reason the researcher chose this location was because students were still found to have reading difficulties and the school was included in the 3t area. The purpose of this research is a. identified many students with reading difficulties at SDN Polokarto 01, b. knowing the factors that influence students having reading difficulties at SDN Polokarto 01, c. know the efforts to overcome reading difficulties in students at SDN Polokarto 01, and d. find out the teacher's difficulties in guiding students with reading difficulties. From the objectives above, the researcher will provide suggestions for solving the problem. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection through observation of students who have reading difficulties, interviews with class teachers and based on documentation of student assessment results. There were 9 students who had reading difficulties. The problems experienced by students are quite varied, students in grades 1, 2, 3. AbstrakMembaca merupakan kemampuan yang mendasar bagi peserta didik untuk dapat mengikuti pembelajaran di sekolah. Kemampuan membaca sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran di kelas. Namun dewasa ini masih ditemukan siswa Sekolah Dasar yang notabenenya sudah mampu membaca permulaan tetapi pada kenyataannya masih belum. Hal tersebut dikhawatirkan akan menghambat proses pembelajaran saat di kelas. Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan tersebut peneliti hendak mengamati siswa berkesulitan membaca jenjang kelas rendah di SDN Polokarto 01. Berdasarkan laporan guru saat peneliti mengikuti program Kampus Mengajar, alasan peneliti mengambil lokasi tersebut karena masih ditemukan siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca dan sekolah termasuk daerah 3t. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu a. mengindentifikasi banyak siswa berkesulitan membaca di SDN Polokarto 01, b. mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi siswa mengalami berkesulitan membaca di SDN Polokarto 01, c. megetahui upaya untuk mengatasi berkesulitan membaca pada siswa di SDN Polokarto 01, dan d. mengetahui kesulitan guru dalam pembimbingan siswa berkesulitan membaca. Dari tujuan di atas peneliti akan memberikan saran pemecaham pada persoalan tersebut. Adapun metode penelitian yaitu kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca, wawancara dengan guru kelas dan berdasarkan dokumentasi hasil penilaian siswa. Diperoleh 9 siswa yang mengalami berkesulitan membaca. Masalah yang dialami oleh siswa cukup bervariasi, siswa kelas 1, 2, 3.

Abstract

The basic skills of Indonesian children in the Hulu Kelang Learning Center (SB) are not comparable to school-age children and many children have not mastered basic literacy. Indonesian children at SB Hulu Kelang are children of migrant workers who were born and raised in Malaysia and they don't know their own nationality. This community service program is teaching practices and strengthens skills and character. Activities are carried out through an academic-experiential approach with a life skills program that includes intellectual skills, soft skills, and character by providing good practice. The methods used are observation methods, learning practices, community education, and advocacy. This service includes being creative, strengthening literacy and language, strengthening nationalism, and SECARA (a week of many events) which is carried out for one month. The results of this service show that psychoeducational service activities are needed to help Indonesian children to facilitate their academic abilities and character. The results of dedication have a positive impact on children and can improve literacy, nationalism, social life, and various basic skills needed for their future success.

Abstract

Learning and preparing for exams is an essential part of academic life. It requires learning skills and effective time management. However, many students are forced or accustomed to studying at the last minute, which can harm student learning and health. This qualitative phenomenological study aims to explore the phenomenon of learning the overnight speeding system by analyzing and describing the overnight speeding system (SKS) learning strategies for 6th graders in SD SD SDN Trobayan and student perceptions of the SKS strategy. This study also seeks to explore the perspectives of teachers and principals on this phenomenon. This study involved four students, one teacher, and the principal as participants. Data was collected through interviews and document analysis and analyzed using a four-step process: data reduction, analysis, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the appropriate credit learning strategy was to re-read the material and make a summary. Although not entirely a lousy learning method, it is necessary to pay attention to the habit of studying fast overnight so that it does not affect the health and performance of students. The scores of students who used the overnight speed study system the night before the test showed successful learning, with an average FCJ score of 801 and a QDNA score of 804, which were higher than the class average of 768.12. The findings of this research can provide teachers and students with insight into how to optimize their study strategies and time management skills, as well as avoid the negative consequences of overnight speeding systems.

Abstract

Parents and teachers find it very difficult to foster a culture of reading literacy in students. Reading books is very important. Low reading interest in students can result in decreased learning outcomes. Therefore, collaboration between parents and teachers is very important in increasing students' interest in reading through wall magazines. This study aims to describe the collaboration between parents and teachers in fostering reading literacy through the wall magazine program. The type of research used is qualitative research with a phenomenological research design. Data collection techniques used were observation and interviews, and data validity was carried out by source and technique triangulation. Based on the results of research at SD Negeri 1 Celep, it was found that low interest in reading was caused by the influence of gadgets and the absence of parental guidance. One of the efforts made by parents and teachers to increase students' interest in reading is through the wall magazine program. In addition to providing motivation for the importance of reading, there is guidance from parents, making books available in the library, making a literacy tree and making a study schedule. AbstrakOrang tua dan guru sangat kesulitan dalam menumbuhkan budaya literasi membaca pada peserta didik. Membaca buku sangatlah penting. Minat membaca rendah pada peserta didik dapat mengakibatkan hasil belajar turun. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara orang tua dan guru sangat penting dalam meningkatkan minat membaca pada peserta didik yaitu melalui majalah dinding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan terkait kolaborasi antara orang tua dan guru dalam menumbuhkan literasi membaca melalui program majalah dinding. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan wawancara, serta validitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian di SD Negeri 1 Celep memperoleh hasil bahwa minat membaca rendah diakibatkan oleh pengaruh gadget dan tidak adanya bimbingan orang tua. Upaya yang dilakukan orang tua dan guru untuk meningkatkan minat membaca peserta didik adalah salah satunya melalui program majalah dinding. Selain itu memberikan motivasi akan pentingnya membaca, adanya bimbingan dari orang tua, membuat buku hadir perpustakaan, membuat pohon literasi dan membuat jadwal belajar.
