Abstract

In today's competitive environment allows humans to communicate and can exchange data information or files remotely. Therefore it is necessary to protect information. One way that can be done is to exchange information in the form of Portable Document Format (PDF) files. The development of science that is very fast now causes information to be very valuable, therefore protection of information is needed. In this study combining two algorithms between algorithms namely Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) and Mars algorithms. To build this computerized application using Visual Basic 2008 as its supporting application. This application is made for the implementation of encryption and description of text files as secure communication.

Abstract

A joint business group is a group of citizens or a group of social communities formed from families classified as poor communities through a social welfare program, abbreviated as prokesos, which is useful for carrying out business to increase the income of a group of underprivileged residents. In the decision-making process, errors and inaccuracies in the distribution of aid to the community, for example, people who do not deserve assistance but who receive assistance are inversely proportional to poor communities who do not receive assistance. This problem arises because of the lack of careful selection and miscalculation in determining which people are entitled to receive assistance. For this reason, it is necessary to have a decision support system in producing decisions so that it can support the decisions made by the Province of Social Affairs more real. In this study, one of the Composite Performance Index (CPI) methods is used which is expected to be able to assist the Provincial Social Service in determining the appropriate kube in receiving assistance.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas pendidikan menjadi unsur konkret yang sangat penting dalam usaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia. Untuk meningkatkan kualitas tersebut maka yang perlu di perhatikan adalah masalah prestasi belajar dari siswa. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan siswa ataupun peserta didik gagal dalam hal akademis, salah satu faktor adalah sistem pendidikan yang kurang maju dan kurang modern. Pada SMA Negeri I STM Hilir memiliki laboratorium komputer yang telah dilengkapi dengan koneksi internet. Dalam laboratorium tersebut juga dilengkapi dengan screen projector dan proyektor sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menampilkan materi-materi pelajaran menggunakan slide presentasi untuk lebih mudah memberikan simulasi materi pelajaran yang disampaikan oleh guru. Namun kendala yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan guru dalam mempersiapkan materi pada slide presentasi membuat slide presentasi yang di tampilkan kurang menarik dan membuat siswa kurang berminat untuk memperhatikan materi yang diajarkan. Dengan melihat permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para guru di SMA N 1 STM Hilir maka perlu dilakukan pelatihan kepada para guru untuk memanfaatkan perangkat pembelajaran berbasis multimedia dengan semaksimal mungkin sehingga dapat meningkatkan minat belajar dari para siswa. Sehingga berdampak pada meningkatnya pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran yang disampaikan.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPublic Speaking adalah salah satu kemampuan berbahasa Inggris yang wajib dikuasai oleh mahasiswa perguruan tinggi. Kemampuan ini dianggap penting karena mahasiswa sebagai agent of change atau agen perubahan harus mampu berkomunikasi di depan umum terutama pada saat mempresentasikan tugas kuliah dan setelah tamat dari perguruan tinggi, kemampuan retorika atau public speaking ini sangat membantu keberhasilan dalam dunia kerja saat berhadapan dengan masyarakat. Permasalahan yang muncul dalam dunia perkuliahan yaitu rendahnya minat dan kemampuan mahasiswa untuk mempraktikkan kemampuan public speaking terutama dalam berpidato menggunakan bahasa Inggris di depan umum. Masalah ini hadir karena beberapa faktor yaitu; metode pengajaran yang tidak efektif dari sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah umum, kurangnya paraktik dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dan kurangnya kepercayaan diri.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menstimulasi kemampuan dan minat para mahasiswa melakukan public speaking khususnya praktik (English Speech) atau pidato bahasa Inggris melalui kompetisi daring (online) antar perguruan tinggi. Stimulasi atau dorongan yang dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa dengan cara mempraktikkan kemampuan berpidato bahasa Inggris yang dilakukan di rumah tanpa harus berpidato di depan umum, lalu mahasiswa mengirimkan video yang berdurasi 4-5 menit untuk dinilai oleh dewan juri yang berkompeten dibidangnya. Stimulasi ini mampu mendorong minat para mahasiswa karena sistem perlombaan daring (online) ini bisa dilakukan di rumah tanpa harus berinteraksi di depan umum, sehingga faktor tidak percaya diri bisa diminimalkan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berupa pelatihan penggunaan Pemanfaatan Aplikasi Google Classroom Untuk Manajemen Pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Al Munadi di Masa Pandemi Covid 19 yang dapat bermanfaat bagi guru pada saat memanajemen pembelajaran yang baik. Adapun mitra yang terlibat dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah para guru-guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Al Munadi. Hasil yang didapatkan adalah guru Sekolah Menengah Pertama Islam Terpadu Al Munadi telah dapat menguasai dan memahami pemanfaatan aplikasi google classroom dalam memanajemen pembelajaran dan secara khusus guru mata pelajaran bahasa inggris lebih mudah menyampaikan materinya. Abstract

SMKS Prayatna 1 Medan is one of the senior high schools located in Medan that provides various educational support facilities for its students. However, along with the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) which makes some countries set policies to impose lockdowns, such as in Indonesia doing Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar (PSBB) policies. Local governments decided to implement policies to engage students and began implementing learning methods with online systems. Some schools are not ready for online learning systems, which require learning media such as mobile phones, laptops or computers as experienced by SMKS Prayatna 1 Medan. It also has an impact on teachers are required to be able to design learning media as an innovation by utilizing online media, one of which is when the implementation of the exam. So , online media technology is needed that can accommodate the implementation of school exams at SMKS Prayatna 1 Medan. One application that can be used as a means of learning is Google Form. Google Form is a free feature from Google that can be used for the creation of online exam forms with various problem modes from multiple choices and essays. It is expected that through training in the use of Google Form as an online exam medium is expected to be a solution to overcome the difficulty of carrying out online exams at SMKS Prayatna 1 Medan. through training in utilizing Google Form as an online exam media is expected to be a solution to overcome the difficulty of conducting online exams at SMKS Prayatna 1 Medan

Abstract

Cryptography is both a science and an art to protect the security of messages and information from being seen, read, understood by third parties. One of the cryptographic algorithms is the elgamal algorithm. Currently, communication and information technology is developing rapidly and has a major impact on human life. An example of this development is the internet network, which now allows many people to exchange data freely through the network. The problem to be solved is in the form of a text file, the elgamal algorithm will be modified with a scrambling algorithm, namely the freivalds algorithm. Freivalds algorithm is a probabilistic random algorithm algorithm used to verify matrix multiplication. This algorithm is used to modify the Elgamal algorithm on encryption that uses plaintext pairs with a secret key that is randomly obtained. To increase the strength of the algorithm, the key used to perform the encryption and decryption process will be changed first using a randomized key, namely the Freivalds algorithm.Keywords: Cryptography, Mods, Keys, Elgamal Algorithms, Algortima Freivalds

Abstract

Advertising is a marketing communication message or public communication about a product that is conveyed through a medium, financed by a known initiator, and addressed to part or all of the community. PT. Amanah Wisata Travel also uses advertising promotions on its website to attract potential customers to use their services. However, the number of advertisements on the website will be burdensome for the website, because there are too many files such as images and videos, and this can take up storage space on web hosting. Data compression is one way that this problem can be resolved, because by using data compression it can minimize a file size in the form of an image or video from the ad. Large data sizes result in waste of memory and the slow process of moving or duplicating data so that it is necessary to do ways to minimize data storage. The aim of this research is to minimize the file size on the PT. Amanah Travel in the form of images. If the size of the file being transferred is large enough, it is necessary to compress the file so that the file size is reduced. The method applied to compress the image file media using the Fibonacci code algorithm.Keywords: Compression, Fibonacci Code, Image Files

Abstract

Pemikiran yang terbentuk akibat pengaruh lingkungan dapat memicu anoreksia nervosa diantaranya berupa iklan dimedia massa sehingga masyarakat sangat terpengaruh terutama pada kalangan remaja. Minimnya pengetahuan dan kepedulian terhadap keseimbangan gizi pada tubuh menyebabkan munculnya gangguan Anoreksia Nervosa. Tujuan penelitian untuk melakukan diagnosa anoreksia nervosa dan memberikan solusi mengenai kondisi yang dialami melalui aplikasi sistem pakar. Metode Case Based Reasoning dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam melakukan diagnosa serta memberikan hasil diagnosa yang lebih akurat berdasarkan kejadian terdahulu dan dapat direvisi kembali dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang baru. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian dengan perbandingan antara hasil diagnosa sistem dan ahli gizi memiliki kemampuan penyelesaian masalah dari penderita dengan mendapatkan hasil sehingga sistem ini dapat dikatakan layak untuk digunakan

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is one of the government programs in guidance aimed at children from birth up to the age of six that is done through the provision of education to support the growth and development of physical and spiritual so that children have readiness in entering further education. The application of ELECTRE (Elimination And Choice Translation Reality) is aimed at selecting PAUDs eligible for government assistance. Determination of policies taken as the basis for decision-making must use criteria that can be clearly and objectively defined.
