Abstract

Proverbs are words or groups of words which states a purpose or will, circumstance of someone, something, or something that express behavior, actions and things about a person indirectly, but implicitly convey a message that can be understood by both the reader and the listener. String matching is an algorithm to search for all occurrences of short and long strings, and for short strings called patterns and long strings called text. Horspool Algorithm is a simplification of the Boyer-Moore algorithm which in search of text is to search in large text to find the first pattern. Because the text sought can be very large (allowing hundreds of thousands of characters) it is important to use more efficient techniques based on that case, a search application based on android is made to make it easier for someone to find proverbs because not everyone understands this and that makes it more practical and efficient in terms of its use without having to carry proverbs in print media such as books.

Abstract

The expert system is a branch of artificial intelligence that facilitates the knowledge of an expert into an application that can be used to help the work of experts. The knowledge base is formed by an inference engine that translates an expert's knowledge. The result or output of the expert system can not guarantee its certainty. Abstract

The provision of grants is a program given by the government to the less fortunate. A grant program is held to assist the community in the survival of the community, especially in housing issues. Abstract

Improving the quality of education is a very important concrete element in efforts to improve the quality of human resources. To improve this quality, what needs to be considered is the problem of student achievement. Many factors cause students or students to fail academically, one of the factors is the less advanced and less modern education system. SMA Negeri I STM Hilir has a computer laboratory equipped with an internet connection. The laboratory is also equipped with a screen projector and projector so that it can be used to display subject matter using presentation slides to make it easier to simulate subject matter delivered by the teacher. However, the obstacle faced is the teacher's limitations in preparing material on presentation slides making the presentation slides that are displayed less attractive and making students less interested in paying attention to the material being taught. By looking at the problems faced by teachers at SMA N 1 STM Hilir, it is necessary to train teachers to make the most of multimedia-based learning tools so as to increase students' interest in learning. Abstract

Dagang Kerawan Village, located in Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, has various Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) whose products have been marketed to the public. Products produced by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) from the people of Dagang Kerawan Village actually have the potential to be marketed overseas. One of the competencies needed to market SME products to various countries is the ability to communicate in English. The English Camp activity will deliver special materials that will help village officials and the UKM village community to welcome and communicate with guests who come from abroad. The material will be packaged in the form of Coversation (Conversation) to make it easier for participants to understand. Abstract

The Head of HIMATIKA is a student who has a leadership position in the HIMATIKA organizational structure and is also one of the students who has been entrusted to lecturers to carry out their duties and develop every activity held by the Budi Darma University campus. Students who serve as chairmen of HIMATIKA must have great responsibility in organizing, directing, and managing every activity on the Budi Darma University Medan campus. So with that the Medan Budi Darma University campus really hopes that in the election of the HIMATIKA chairman it can provide the best results and those who are elected to become the HIMATIKA chairman can be more committed and have great responsibility so that the Budi Darma University campus will be more advanced, quality and become the best campus. The election of the HIMATIKA chairman at Budi Darma University often results in injustice in the mechanism used to elect the HIMATIKA chairman, and there is also a lack of member participation in the election of the HIMATIKA chairman. This will have an impact on the results of the election for the chairman of HIMATIKA and will also affect the development of HIMATIKA. in the election of the chairman of HIMATIKA if the results are not objective or significant, of course it will cause other problems. So with that the process of solving a problem that occurs in the election of a HIMATIKA chairman requires some criteria data including GPA, discipline, vision and mission, organizational experience, and broad insight. From these criteria data, accurate and clear results will be obtained, and the assistance of a system that can solve each of these problems is needed. Where this system is a system that has a very important role in decision making. The system is DSS, where DSS is one of the systems that can assist in solving each problem by requiring data and methods contained in the DSS in order to obtain more relevant information and support in making each decision. In completing this research, the writer has to find the weight value of the criterion data where the writer uses the ROC method to produce the weight value and after that the writer also searches for the ranking value using the WASPAS method. And where to produce ranking values ​​in the WASPAS method, the author must work according to predetermined steps in order to obtain precise and accurate preference values. The ROC and WASPAS methods really help the writer in generating values ​​accurately.

Abstract

Seiring dengan berkembangnya teknologi, permainan di kembangkan ke dalam teknologi yang lebih modern, seperti komputer (pc) ataupun smartphone. Salah satu game yang sangat menyenangkan dan cukup sering dimainkan yaitu game bubble shooter. Saat memulai permainan pada game bubble shooter warna gelembung sudah ditentukan secara otomatis sehingga terkadang warna gelembung teracak secara tidak teratur, sehingga membuat pemain kesulitan untuk menyelesaikan permainan tersebut. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu algoritma dalam pengacakan warna gelembung pada game bubble shooter yaitu algoritma fisher yates shuffle dan linear congruent method, kedua algoritma tersebut diperlukan untuk mengacak warna gelembung agar mempermudah pemain dalam menyelesaikan permainan tersebut. Sebagai hasilnya dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan adanya penerapan algoritma fisher yates shuffle dan linear congruent method, maka pengacakan warna gelembung pada game bubble shooter tidak terdapat pola yang sama dan benar-benar teracak secara teratur.
