Abstract

The use of gadgets will have a serious impact on children's learning disorders. In another study, it was revealed that excessive use of gadgets can cause health problems. Learning disorders will be seen when all learning obligations are gradually neglected. The role of parents and teachers is very important in preventing children's learning disorders. Likewise, disturbances in children's health, which can occur at any time. The implementation of community service activities was held at SMP Alikhlas Bekasi. The implementation method used is FGD, participatory and practical. This activity was attended by 50 seventh grade junior high school students for the 2019/2020 academic year. The results of the activity showed that the results of the oral evaluation were 71, while the written evaluation was 80. The students already understood the impact of excessive use of gadgets. Abstract

The purpose of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out with the aim to find out the increase in social studies learning achievements of ASEAN material through the application of cooperative learning methods to class VI SDN Jatiasih Bekasi students in 2018/2019. This Classroom Action Research was carried out by applying the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model in order improve the quality of the learning process and is a concept of learning activities that help teachers in carrying out mathematics learning activities on fractions taught by trying to maximize the active role of students, especially the knowledge they have and how they are applied in everyday life. With this concept, learning outcomes are expected to be more meaningful for students. The learning process takes place naturally in the form of activities students work and experience, not transfer knowledge from teacher to student. The quality of learning is more important than learning outcomes. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is carried out in stages 2 cycles, and the results of the actions taken have been proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes / achievements in terms of classical student mastery learning in the first cycle of 53%, could increase to 74.5% in the second cycle and in terms of the average value of the evaluation results of 74.5 in the second cycle of 79.2, this means there is an increase of 22%. From the results of this class action research also showed an increase in the level of student learning activities from 3 categories Active Enough in the first cycle to 3.5 Active categories, Active categories in the second cycle to 3.8 categories Very Active means there was an increase of 28.5%.

Abstract

Abstract This research discusses learning English in early childhood. There are still pros and cons, whether early childhood can learn English at school. Learning in kindergarten students is expected to adjust to their age. Learning must be fun and while playing. This research is expected to open insights and insights into thinking about teaching English at Pertiwi Kindergarten, Bekasi City. Respondents were 40 students of Kindergarten B. The research was conducted at State Kindergarten 6, Bekasi, West Java. The method used is a class action research method. Almost 2 cycles of English learning were carried out. The first and second cycles use story telling in learning. Telling stories that are still relevant to student learning is an alternative method of learning English. The results of the study showed that the second cycle reached 70 while the third cycle reached 72. These results were categorized as good. Teachers can use story telling combined with the game method, both inside and outside the classroom. This method can be developed with other methods such as storytelling with dolls, pictures, books and videos.. Masih ada pro dan kontra, apakah anak usia dini dapat belajar bahasa Inggris di sekolah. Pembelajaran pada siswa SD diharapkan menyesuaikan pada umur mereka.Pembelajaran harus menyenangkan dan sambil bermaian. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan dan cakrawala berpikir tentang penajaran bahasa Inggris di taman kanak kanak Pertiwi Kota Bekasi. Responden adalah siswa SD sebanyak 40 anak.Penelitian dilakukan pada SD Negeri 6 kota Bekasi Jawa Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Sebanyak 2 siklus dilakukan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Siklus pertama dan kedua menggunakan story telling dalam pembelajaran. Story telling yang masih relevan dengan pembelajaran siswa, menjadi salah satu alternatif metode belajar bahasa Inggris. Hasil penelitian menukujukan pada siklus dua mencapai 70 sedangkan siklus tiga mencapai 72. Hasil ini dikatagorikan sudah baik. Guru dapat menggunakan story telling di padukan dengan metode permainan, baik didalam kelas maupun diluar kelas. Metoda ini dapat dikembangkan dengan metoda lain sepeti story telling dengan boneka, gambar, buku dan pengguaan video. Kata Kunci: bercerita, pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, siswa

Abstract

Learning the Indonesian language and literature still needs to be optimal. Learning needs to get the attention of teachers and educational observers. Good learning makes students happy and comfortable and gets optimal learning results. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of cooperative learning in class X high school students with poetry material. The method used is an experimental method with the type of pretest-posttest. Respondents who participated in the study were 42 students. Research activities were carried out from January to March 2019. The study's results stated an increase of 4.7464 when students used cooperative learning. The learning process begins with forming groups and interactions between students and teachers. This method can provide added value before and after using the method.
