Abstract

Borobudur is one of the tourist attractions in Central Java. It is a great destination for the tourists, both local and foreign tourists. The villages around the Borobudur temple also have the potential attractions for tourists, such as Wanurejo village and Candirejo village. Those have been designated as tourist villages. As the tourist villages, or the “Pokdarwis” they continuously try to improve their professionalism. The awareness to entertain tourists, especially foreign tourists, requires not only language skills, but also the ability to understand the culture of the tourists. They also try to establish cooperation with outside parties who can assist them in understanding the foreign language and culture.This mentoring activity is expected to improve the professionalism of the community, especially for the “Pokdarwis” in Wanurejo and Candirejo villages in recognizing and understanding foreign languages and cultures.

Abstract

Learning foreign languages ​​in early childhood requires certain strategies so that learning languages ​​feels fun so that they can motivate students to learn foreign languages. The purpose of this activity is to help improve the competence of teachers who are members of the RA/BA KKG throughout the Sambi sub-district in developing teaching methods for teaching foreign language vocabulary to early childhood. One of the methods introduced to teachers is TPR (Total Physical Response) based learning which is a language teaching method based on commands, speech, and motion. This activity was attended by 30 TK/RA teachers from the Sambi sub-district. The stages carried out in this activity are as follows 1) presentation of TPR-based teaching method material via powerpoint, 2) Introduction of teaching instruments or media to be used, 3) Practical teaching using the TPR method, 4) question and answer discussion. The results of this activity are KKG teachers RA/BA in Sambi sub-district can practice teaching foreign languages ​​well using TPR-based methods

Abstract

Tempur sebagai salah satu desa di kecamatan Keling yang berbatasan dengan desa Kunir dan Damarwulan di sebelah utara, kota Kudus di sebelah selatan, di sebelah barat berbatasan dengan desa Sumanding dan Dudakawu serta berbatasan dengan kabupaten Pati di sebelah timur, selain memiliki panorama yang indah juga merupakan desa yang memiliki tempat-tempat yang sangat layak untuk dijadikan destinasi wisata bagi para wisatawan baik dalam maupun luar negeri. Di antaranya yaitu Candi Angin, Candi Bubrah, Sumur Batu, Kaldera Gunung Muria, Kolam Nawangwulan, Kolam Pemancingan Tempoera, Taman Hias, Bumi Perkemahan dan Wisata Kebun Kopi. Dengan adanya tempat-tempat yang sangat layak untuk dijadikan destinasi wisata tersebut tentu saja diperlukan kemampuan di kalangan anggota masyarakat wilayah desa Tempur untuk mampu mengelola dengan baik sehingga nantinya dapat meningkatkan jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke desa Tempur. Untuk itu diperlukan kegiatan pendampingan yang dapat membantu kelompok masyarakat desa Tempur meningkatkan profesionalitas mereka dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kepariwisataan dan mengelola daerahnya. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan profesionalitas masyarakat desa Tempur kecamatan Keling Jepara dengan cara memberikan pendampingan, pembimbingan dan pelatihan dalam berbagai bidang kepariwisataan khususnya pelatihan dan pengenalan Bahasa dan budaya asing.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, learning a foreign language has become a necessity for everyone. Not only for adults, but for teenagers and children, the ability to speak foreign languages ​​really supports them to understand other knowledge, especially those using foreign languages. Learning in the scope of public schools under the auspices of the Ministry of National Education and schools under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the like have differences both in the types of lessons in the curriculum and the standards of each of these subjects. For schools that are under the auspices of the department of religion such as Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the like, the foreign language included in the national curriculum is generally Arabic. While English is usually included in the realm of local content. For the practice of learning these English teachers must develop their own learning implementation plans that have not been included in the national curriculum. Likewise, learning English at Madrasah Khozinatul Ulum Blora, Central Java. Foreign language teachers at there, both English and Arabic try to use learning methods and strategies that can attract the attention of their students. This study aims to describe foreign language learning for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah in Blora. The target is expected to increase knowledge about foreign language learning for children and expand knowledge about foreign language learning for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. Data collection techniques were carried out by observing learning activities and written documents. The research steps consist of 1) design 2) data collection 3) data processing 4) conclusion drawing, and 5) report writing. The data collection stage includes data categorization activities, and data analysis. The report writing stage includes report writing activities and research results presentation. The results of this study are expected to add insight and expand knowledge about foreign language learning for students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Use of Web-Based Poetic Device Tools as a Learning Media for Creative Writing of English Poetry" The benefits of this research are both theoretical and practical. Theoretically, this study can be used to learn more about how to teach English poetry and creative writing using Web-Based Poetic Device Tools. Practically, to develop abilities in the use of Web-Based Poetic Device Tools as a medium for original English poem creation. The urgency of the research's findings will be able to expand the use of English poetry tool sites in general E-Learning implementation and can enhance the language industry, particularly innovative English poetry composing. The method of this research is Research and Development used to produce certain products, Models for Creative Writing of English Poetry Using Web-Based Poetic Device Tools and Simulation of the effectiveness of these products. The concept of scientific knowledge of poetry and poetry writing, the recognition and application of the use of web-based online poetic tools, the model, method, and steps of web-based poetic device tools in poetry writing, and English poetry writing simulation are the four findings that will be discussed in detail in the discussion.

Abstract

The goal of this study is do describe how Handa Seishuu, the main character, employs hierarchical needs elements. The authors’s research approach is descriptive qualitative. The purpose of this study is to analyze Handa Seishuu's character's hierarchy of wants using Abraham Maslow's psychology theory. This study's data comes in the form of scenes and dialogue lines connected to the research issue. The results showed that Handa Seishuu's character fulfills the stages of hierarchical needs according to Abraham Maslow's theory: 1) psychological needs in the form of food and shelter, 2) Security needs in the form of meeting people who live on Goto Island, 3) The need to be owned and loved in the form of affection from friends, 4) Self-esteem needs in the form of appreciation or praise from others, 5) Self-actualization needs in the form of trying to develop potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the individuation process of the main character in the anime Charlotte, Otosaka Yuu, using Carl Gustav Jung’s analytical psychology theory, specifically focusing on the integration of the four main archetypes: persona, shadow, anima, and self. Using a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through careful observation of the anime, including transcripts of dialogue and relevant screenshots. The analysis reveals that Yuu experiences a complete process of individuation. Yuu gradually discards his persona and begins to live more authentically. Yuu’s shadow is acknowledged and accepted without being allowed to dominate his behavior. Yuu’s anima develops through his emotional connection with Nao, which helps him access his empathy and vulnerability. Ultimately, Yuu reaches the self, a state of psychological wholeness, marked by his willingness to sacrifice himself for others based on inner conviction rather than external validation. This transformation demonstrates that Yuu achieves an integrated and mature personality through his internal journey and interpersonal relationships. This analysis demonstrates how anime can depict complex psychological growth, offering valuable insights into character development and the symbolic representation of the human psyche in popular media. The study contributes to anime studies and highlights the applicability of Jungian theory to modern visual storytelling.

Abstract

This study is based on the phenomenon in the anime Orange, which depicts the psychological dynamics of the main character, Naho Takamiya, in facing life challenges and interpersonal relationships. The issue raised in this study is how Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs is reflected through the behaviour and dialogue of the character. This study aims to describe Abraham Maslow's humanistic psychology theory in the anime Orange. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques conducted through observation and documentation. The data analysed consists of dialogues related to Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The results show that Naho Takamiya fulfils all five levels of needs according to Maslow’s theory: physiological needs, safety needs, love and belonging needs, esteem needs, and self-actualisation needs. This study shows that character development in fictional works can be analysed through a psychological perspective.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the needs of the character Izumi Kudo in the film Narratage with Henry Murray's personology theory, which states that need is a mental drive formed from brain activity in regulating perception, thought, and action to overcome unsatisfactory conditions, generally influenced by environmental factors accompanied by certain emotions. The focus of the research is the needs of the character Izumi, who is involved in a complicated relationship with Hayama Takashi, which is influenced by differences in age and social status. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with observation techniques and documentation of scenes and dialogues. The results show that Izumi Kudo has six needs according to Henry Murray: inavoidance, affiliation, succorance, deference, nurturance, and sex. The conclusion of this study is that Izumi's personality is not driven by a single need, but rather by a series of complementary needs, thus shaping Izumi's identity and life journey in the film Narratage.

Abstract

This research is about the psychoanalytic study of Henry Murray on the character Okkotsu Yuuta in the anime Jujutsu Kaisen 0, using Henry Murray's personology theory. According to Henry Murray, needs are closely related to a person's psychological condition. Henry Murray categorized 20 essential needs related to psychological needs in a person. Using a qualitative descriptive method with a literary approach. Data was collected thru scenes and dialog depicting the psychological aspects of the character Okkotsu Yuuta. The anime Jujutsu Kaisen 0 tells the story of a teenager named Okkotsu Yuuta, who has been haunted by a cursed spirit named Rika since childhood. Yuuta cannot control Rika's cursed spirit, which is attached to him, and it always gets out of control whenever Yuuta is in a dangerous situation. One day, Yuuta met Gojo Satoru, the strongest sorcerer, who invited Yuuta to join Jujutsu High School so that Yuuta could control his powers and also Rika's cursed spirit. This study's goal is to use personology theory to ascertain Okkotsu Yuuta's needs in the anime Jujutsu Kaisen 0. The author found that the character Okkotsu Yuuta has 9 needs that reflect his behavior and emotions when facing inner conflict and his struggle to control the cursed spirit Orimoto Rika. It can be concluded that the character Okkotsu Yuuta has needs for abasement, achievement, affiliation, aggression, counteraction, deference, dominance, nurturance, and rejection.
