Abstract

Darwis Mustofa is a character who plays an important role in the plot of the story. Through Mustafa's character, Sufistic elements can be seen as a guide to religious teachings. The choice of a Darwis-like character as a messenger of love and advice in the storyline is inseparable from the culture of Iran and Central Asian countries where nomadic Sufi wanderers can easily be found to spread the teachings of Sufism. Therefore, this research will focus on analyzing and interpreting the Sufistic elements inherent in the character of Darwis Mustafa. To dissect the issue, this research will use an interpretative qualitative method through a magical realism approach. The data source used is Reza Amirkhani's novel Man-e-oo (2000), which has been translated into Indonesian by Bastian Zulyeno under the title Akunya Dia (2020). Sufistic elements found in the character of Darwis Mustafa include: Darwis Mustafa is present and depicted as a Sufi figure who is closely related to mysticism, has a deep meaning related to the color green, shows universality through tolerance, and represents the meaning of divine love and death in the Sufi view.

Abstract

Archives play a crucial role in the administrative and management activities of an organization as they contain information about daily operations. The BBPOM (Food and Drug Supervisory Agency) in Pekanbaru is a technical unit responsible for overseeing food and drug products in accordance with legal regulations. One of the divisions at BBPOM Pekanbaru is the Certification Division, which is tasked with evaluating the production facilities of food and drug products. Currently, the Certification Division still uses a simple archiving management system, where all physical documents are scanned and stored in Google Drive, while the physical documents are kept in filing cabinets. Although the arrangement is neat, there is still a higher risk of data damage or loss, and it also requires a large storage space. Developing an information system for efficient archiving takes time, but by using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, the system can be completed quickly. This web-based archiving information system is designed to make data searches faster by using a search feature for finding document numbers, names, and types. The system also facilitates monitoring of storage spaces and maintaining archived documents, while minimizing the risk of document damage or loss, as access to the archiving system requires a username and password for login.

Abstract

Mandarin has become one of the most important global languages, particularly in the fields of education and business. The HSK exam, as a standard measure of Mandarin language proficiency, requires effective and structured preparation. However, the manual methods still used by language institutions such as Happy Mandarin Course are considered inefficient in helping students identify their personal weaknesses. This study aims to design a web-based HSK exam simulation application equipped with a question recommendation system using the Collaborative Filtering algorithm. The recommendation system is supported by similarity calculations using the Pearson Correlation Coefficient to match questions to users' abilities based on previous results. The application was developed using the waterfall approach, implemented with the Python programming language and the Flask framework. Testing results show that the system can recommend questions adaptively, assist students in improving their skills, and ease the teaching process for instructors. The application can identify users’ weaknesses individually and provide targeted practice, thus offering an effective and adaptive solution for enhancing HSK exam readiness.
