Abstract

Child education is a critical foundation for developing high-quality human resources. The synergy between teachers and parents plays a crucial role in supporting children's growth and education. Therefore, strengthening the relationship between them is essential to improving the quality of education at the community level. This community service project aims to identify factors influencing the synergy between teachers and parents and its impact on children's educational development in Semenkidul Village, Sukosewu District, Bojonegoro Regency. Additionally, the project seeks to implement the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method to facilitate educational improvements in the village. The method employed is the ABCD approach, which involves five stages: inculturation, discovery, design, define, and reflection. Activities carried out include the Child Education Survey, Parenting: The Importance of Child Education, and consultation sessions between teachers and parents. The mentoring program encompasses five aspects of child education: moral education, academic education, social skills, creativity development, and environmental education. The results of this project indicate that through the ABCD approach, the Semenkidul community successfully identified the potentials and assets within their village. The synergy between teachers and parents was significantly strengthened, resulting in a positive impact on parents' understanding and involvement in their children's education. Consequently, this enhanced synergy has improved the quality of child education in the village.

Abstract

Kalisari Village Baureno, has great potential for the development of calligraphy art, both in terms of human resources and student interest. Supporting the management of calligraphy-based extracurricular activities is essential in this context. Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) method, this approach focuses on empowering the existing assets in the village, The outcomes of this service are as follows: 1) The guidance on Calligraphy Extracurricular Management in Educational Institutions in Kalisari Village, consists of three main activities: Developing Calligraphy Extracurricular Management, Calligraphy Workshops, and Branding to enhance the image of the Educational Institution through calligraphy extracurricular branding, which can attract the local community and boost trust in the institution, 2) The impact of these changes aligns with the expected outputs, including improved student skills and creativity, more efficient extracurricular management, adaptation to technological and globalization changes, a structured extracurricular program plan, capacity building for teachers and mentors, and a system for monitoring and evaluating extracurricular activities, 3) Monitoring results show that the support for calligraphy extracurricular management has achieved 85.02%, significantly enhancing the development of calligraphy extracurricular management in educational institutions in Kalisari Village. Reflective results indicate that the most significant change experienced by most respondents is the increased involvement of stakeholders in managing extracurricular activities, particularly in calligraphy, leading to synergy among various assets for greater potential.

Abstract

Universities are the main pillars in preparing competent human resources ready to face the changing times, especially in the era of Industry 4.0 characterized by digital and technological revolutions. In this context, curriculum planning becomes crucial to ensure the relevance of education with the demands of industries and society. The aim of this research is to analyze Curriculum Planning in Higher Education in the era of Industry 4.0. This research method utilizes a qualitative approach, specifically a case study research type. The findings of this research include: (1) Universities face challenges in adapting their curricula to the rapid developments in technology and changing demands of industries. (2) The findings also highlight the importance of collaboration between universities, industries, government, and society to ensure the responsiveness and relevance of university curricula to the rapidly changing industrial needs. (3) The discussion emphasizes the need for reform in the structure of higher education and academic culture to facilitate innovation in curriculum planning. Thus, the results and discussions of this research provide in-depth insights into the challenges, opportunities, and practical guidance for universities in designing curricula that are responsive and relevant to the era of Industry 4.0.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation and effectiveness of Quizizz as a medium to improve Arabic reading skills (maharah al-qira'ah) in children. This reading skill includes the ability to read Arabic text fluently, translate it, and understand it properly and correctly. Reading skills play a crucial role in understanding written information. An innovative way to enhance this skill is by using interactive learning media such as Quizizz. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. The findings indicate that the use of Quizizz—through formats like images, story sentences, and dialogues—can effectively improve children's reading skills. Learning activities become more dynamic, making children highly engaged, active, cheerful, and motivated to learn and read Arabic texts. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi dan efektivitas media Quizizz dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca (maharah al-qira'ah) bahasa Arab pada anak-anak. Keterampilan membaca ini mencakup kemampuan membaca teks bahasa Arab dengan lancar, menerjemahkan, serta memahaminya dengan baik dan benar. Keterampilan membaca memegang peranan penting untuk memahami informasi tertulis. Salah satu cara inovatif untuk meningkatkannya adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran interaktif seperti Quizizz. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz dengan format gambar, kalimat cerita, dan dialog dapat secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan membaca anak. Aktivitas pembelajaran menjadi lebih hidup, membuat anak-anak sangat terlibat, aktif, ceria, dan termotivasi untuk belajar serta membaca teks bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Bojonegoro faces a critical paradox: it serves as a national energy and extractive-industry hub, yet remains highly vulnerable to ecological disasters such as floods, landslides, and droughts. Despite this alarming condition, Pesantren-based higher education institutions which act as the moral and intellectual foundation for local communities currently lack a comprehensive educational model that integrates Islamic values with a strategic responsiveness to the environmental crises caused by these extractive industries. Therefore, this study aims to construct the "Attanwir Eco-Islamic University Model" as a systematic, preventive, and educational strategy to address these local ecological challenges. Employing a qualitative exploratory case study design at Institut Attanwir Bojonegoro, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed interactively using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model, comprising data condensation, display, and conclusion drawing. The findings propose a robust framework built upon three integrated pillars. First, a Philosophical Foundation rooted in "Feminine Theology" (emphasizing the compassionate attributes of Ar-Rahman and Ar-Rahim) to counter anthropocentric exploitation. Second, an Academic Framework that embeds local issues, such as oil waste and teak forest conservation, directly into the Environmental Jurisprudence (Fiqh al-Bi'ah) curriculum. Third, a Social System that institutionalizes a "green lifestyle" through practices such as plastic fasting and eco-wudhu. The study concludes that this Eco-Islamic model is vital for transforming universities into moral beacons, ultimately producing graduates who are not only intellectually competent but also agents of change, possessing profound ecological piety to advocate for communities in vulnerable industrial zones.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan mahasiswa dalam pendidikan tinggi tidak hanya berorientasi pada capaian akademik, tetapi juga agensi sosial. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA) sebagai tutor sebaya di Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Attanwir Bojonegoro melalui program HALLA (Ḥalaqatul Lughatil ‘Arabiyyah). Metode yang digunakan adalah Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) yang berfokus pada optimalisasi aset lokal: kompetensi mahasiswa dan dukungan sekolah. Tahapan pengabdian meliputi Inkulturasi, Discovery, Design, Define, dan Reflection. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa program HALLA berhasil menciptakan Bi’ah Lughawiyah (lingkungan bahasa) melalui metode Mubasyarah dalam lingkaran kecil (halaqah). Dampak program ini bersifat ganda (dual impact): (1) Meningkatkan kompetensi pedagogis dan efikasi diri mahasiswa sebagai calon guru, dan (2) Menurunkan kecemasan berbahasa (language anxiety) serta meningkatkan keberanian berbicara siswa MA. Program ini menegaskan bahwa mahasiswa adalah modal manusia yang strategis dalam menjembatani kesenjangan praktik bahasa di sekolah.
