Abstract

The purpose of the research was to determine and analyze the effect of the inquiry method on student learning outcomes in grade IV mathematics at Indrapuri Public Elementary School, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The research was d0ne on 64 students as research objects which were divided into an experimental class and a control class. The research method uses a quasi-experimental method with a data collection tool in the form of an objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results of the study concluded that the application of the inquiry method had an effect on student learning outcomes in math class IV at Indrapuri State Elementary School (SDN), Tapung District, Kampar Regency. Thus it can be suggested that the inquiry method can be applied as an alternative learning method in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning result of science at the four year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru. One of solution to solve this problem by implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A- Problem. The objective of study to know increase learning result of science at the IV year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru by implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A-Problem. This research is a kind of Classroom Action Research executed in two cycles. Every cycles consisted of bay one meeting and four phase, thas is planning, action, observation, and reflection. the subjects in this research is the teachers, fourth grade students of 41 Pekanbaru the number of students of 36 people, consisting of 12 men and 13 women. Data collection techniques used in this study is the observation, testing, and documentation. Having conducted research note an increase in student learning outcomes of prior actions, the first cycle and second cycle. In the pre-action mastery students only reached 47.22% or 17 students who completed, the students who pass the first cycle increased to 24 people or completeness only reached 66,67%. In the second cycle turns completeness students at 32 students or the percentage of 88,89%. Thereby that is the implementation of cooperative learning model the type of Send-A-Problem to increase learning result of science at the four year students of state elementary school 41 Pekanbaru

Abstract

The low gross motor skills of children in group A of Permata Bunda Kindergarten as reason for this research, while one of the solutions offered by researchers was the apply of throwing and catching balls activities. The type of research applied was classroom action research with 2 cycles and 2 meetings in each cycle. Data collection techniques used are observation techniques and documentation techniques. The results of the research was that the gross motor skills of group A children in Kindergarten Permata Bunda, Banjar Panjang Village, Kerumutan District, Pelalawan Regency could be improved through throwing and catching balls. The increase that occurs can be seen from the research stage, namely observations made during pre-action, implementation of cycle I and cycle II actions. Judging from the results of the pre-action with ball throwing activities, the value for the BB criteria is the number of children 14 with a percentage of 70%, the BM criteria the number of children is 4 with a percentage of 20%, in the BSH criteria the number of children is 2 the percentage is 10% and in the BSB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0 %. In the first cycle of throwing activities, the criteria for BB number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BM number of children is 3 percentage 15%, BSH number of children is 15 percentage 75% and BSB number of children is 1 percentage 5%. In the activity of catching the BB criteria the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 4 percentage 20%, BSH the number of children is 12 the percentage is 60% and BSB the number of children is 4 percentage 20% In cycle II the following data were obtained on Throwing activities with BB criteria number of children 0 percentage 0%, BM number of children 1 percentage 5%, BSH number of children 3 percentage 15%. BSB number of children 16 percentage 80%. In the activity of catching the criteria for BB the number of children is 0 percentage 0%, BM the number of children is 1 percentage 5%, BSH the number of children is 4 the percentage is 20% and BSB the number of children is 15 the percentage is 75%. From the data above, the implementation of actions in cycle I to cycle II shows that the acquisition of children has increased, namely in throwing activities, throwing activities from 1 or 5% to 16 or 80%, while catching activities the number of children is 4 or 20% to 15 or 75%. Abstract

The background of this research is the low fine motor skills in group B children at Nurul Hikmah Kindergarten. One solution to this problem is to apply coloring activities using the smear technique. This study aims to find out whether coloring activities using the smear technique can improve fine motor skills in group B at Nurul Hikmah Kindergarten. The subjects in this study consisted of 11 children, 8 girls and 3 boys. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This classroom action research was carried out in 2 cycles, in each cycle there were 2 meetings. Data collection techniques used observation and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in the development of fine motor skills in each child indicator with BB criteria (Not yet Developed) experienced a reduction in children from pre-cycle there was 72.7% in cycle I there was 27% and cycle II there were no more children with criteria Undeveloped. The MB criteria (Beginning to Develop) from 18.2% in the pre-cycle increased in cycle I to 52.75% and in cycle II there were no children with the Starting to Develop criteria. BSH criteria (Developing According to Expectations) increased from 9.1% to 20.72% in cycle I and cycle II increased again to 38.25%. BSB criteria (Very Well Developed) in the initial conditions and cycle I there were no children who developed very well but in cycle II it increased to 61.75%. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, Kampar Regency. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way regarding children's fine motor skills, namely the application of the drawing Drill method. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 15 children consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. . Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, the conclusion regarding the results of this research is that the application of the drawing Drill method can improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, Kampar Regency. Children's fine motor skills can be seen from the Precycle, which is in the "Not Developed" criteria, namely 9 children or 75%. After the action in cycle I, namely through the drawing Drill method, there was an increase, namely reducing to 1 child or 8.33%. The "Starting to Develop" criteria increased from Precycle 3 children or 25% to 3 children or 25% and increased again in cycle II to 1 child or 8.33%. In the "Developing According to Expectations" criterion, there was not a single child in this criterion, increasing to 8 children or 66.67% and increasing again in cycle II to 1 child or 8.33%. Abstract

This research aims to find out whether the application of the number bottle cap game can improve cognitive abilities in children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi Kampar Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 17 children. Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, a conclusion was drawn regarding the results of this research, namely that the implementation of the number bottle cap game activity can improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi Kampar Regency. The cognition of children aged 5-6 at TK Bhakti Pertiwi Kampar Regency, through the implementation of the number bottle cap game activity, has increased every cycle. In the pre-cycle, an average score of 43.38% was obtained with the BB (Not Yet Developed) criteria. After improvements were made in cycle I, a score of 54.23% was obtained with MB (Starting to Develop) and in cycle II a score of 78.68% was obtained with BSB (Very Well Developing) criteria. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way regarding children's gross motor skills, namely the application of the Jump Zig Zag game. This research aims to find out whether the application of the Jump Zig Zag game can improve gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at the TK Dharma Wanita , Kampar Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 16 children consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. . Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, the conclusion regarding the results of this research is that using the Jump Zig Zag game can improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Dharma Wanita , Kampar Regency. Abstract

The background of this study is the low ability of children in the aspect of religious and moral values, especially in the ability of children to memorize short prayers, The researchers tried to offer a solution to this problem in the form of applying the talaqqi method at RA Al-Ishlah. The type of research conducted is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles with the following stages; planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The data collection techniques used are observation and interview, then the data is processed with quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The application of the talaqqi method can determine the weaknesses and strengths of the ability to memorize short prayers. Before the action was taken, the ability to memorize still needed to be improved because there were still many children who could not memorize short prayers such as prayers for riding a vehicle, prayers for both parents, and there were still many sounds letters that were still wrong and incorrect. This is based on an increase in success that occurs continuously where before the action is taken, the child's ability to memorize short prayers only reaches a value of 69.09% with less criteria. After planning and implementing actions in cycle1, the results obtained increased to 94.76% with good criteria. Therefore, the activity of memorizing short prayers with the talaqqi method in learning activities is able to improve children's ability to memorize short prayers at RA Al-Ishlah. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the association between breakfast and comprehension ability of children aged 4-5 years in Kawunganten, Cilacap. Breakfast was important to study because it affects children’s comprehension ability. The research approach was quantitative approach with correlational research type. The respondent was 113 children. The data were collected by observation techniques and questionnaires. The Questionnaires were about comprehension ability filled by observers and questionnaires about breakfast filled by parents. The instruments already tested with validity and reliability test. The validity was test with expert judgement. Reliability test was used test-retest method. Reliable when between authors with the observer have the same perception about the research object. The research data were analize with product moment correlation. The result showed that the r-value of 0.450. This was higher than the r- table at a significance level of 5% that was worth 0.195. In this study, there was a positive correlation between breakfast and comprehensive ability of children aged 4-5 years old in Kawunganten, Cilacap. The effective contribution of this research was to the comprehensive ability of children aged 4-5 years in the Kawunganten, Cilacap is r2 x 100% ie 20.25%. Abstract

This study aims to enhance early childhood speaking skills at TK Melati Indah through the implementation of the story-retelling method. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, involving 17 children aged 4-5 years over two cycles. Data were collected through observation and documentation, then analyzed using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results indicate an improvement in children's speaking skills, with an average percentage reaching 55.01% in cycle I and increasing to 76.81% in cycle II. Thus, the story-retelling method has proven effective in enhancing the speaking skills of early childhood learners.
