Verbs have the characteristics of (1) morphological form, (2) syntactic behavior, and (3) semantic behavior. In the Anakalang language, verbs are found based on morphological characteristics, such as: dana angu 'do not eat', syntactic features, such as' Jiangu na payapame ta loku '' The fish that we caught in the river. And semantic features, such as the use of the prefix pa- in a word, the meaning is determined by the use of the word in the sentence, not on the word obtained by the pa- prefix, such as: papalume which is formed from two words hammer and prefix pa- dan me which means' we "which means hitting us" we hit each other. 'Meanwhile, papalugi is in the form of the word' hammer 'and the prefix pa- which means to hit', so, while gi means' ku 'or I, so papalugi means' to hit me (I)' I hit '. Semantically, verbs that get a prefix of their meaning are determined in their use in the sentence level. Types of verbs, such as: 'kaitu' pick 'as the basic form and use' pluck 'as a derivative.

Abstract

This article focuses on the use of language by the young Lamaholot generation in Larantuka City. The study in this article aims to describe language use by the younger generation in bilingual situations. The concept underlying this study is bilingualism and the realm of language use. Meanwhile what is referred to is Sociolinguistic Theory which emphasizes the use of language in the social context of its speakers. Analysis of data on language use by the younger generation of Lamaholot in Larantuka City shows that their language choices tend to be unbalanced even though their bilingualism is categorized as balanced. . This is predominantly determined by the variables involved. In any setting with any topic, if the participants in the conversation consist of fellow Lamaholot people, then the language of choice used is Lamaholot. This condition is interpreted as an accommodating attitude of the young generation of Lamaholot speakers in Larantuka City. This situation of language use does not have the potential to create language hegemony between Lamaholot, Indonesian and Larantuka Malay.

Abstract

The degradation of national character due to the flow of technology demands an educational solution through the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) to build students' moral values. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of P5 in character building at SMAN 6 Kupang, with a focus on module development and the implementation of character dimensions. Using a qualitative evaluation paradigm, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Marshall and Rossman model. The research steps included five planning stages: theme selection, time allocation, goal setting, module development, and assessment. The findings indicate that module development followed standard procedures, with an emphasis on the theme of Local Wisdom. Character implementation was analyzed through Albert Bandura's four stages of social learning theory: attention, retention, reproduction, and motivation. The results confirmed that ten intensive meetings on one theme were able to increase students' active participation and understanding of gratitude, environmental conservation, and cultural diversity. Although not optimal, this project had a positive impact on students' interpersonal development. The main conclusion confirms that the effectiveness of P5 is highly dependent on the systematic planning and students' ability to embody the six profile dimensions in their daily lives. The integration of Bandura's theory has been proven to help internalize characters that are in line with the school's vision and national ideology in a sustainable manner to create a superior, competent, innovative, religious, responsible, disciplined, honest, and tolerant generation.
