Abstract

This study proposes a new perspective in analyzing the state verb seeing in Lio language, Flores. The verbal data was collected by field-observation, and interview. The collected data was analyzed through the application of Natural Semantic Metalanguage theory (NSM) designed to explicate all meanings. It turns out that the state verb: Kile ‘see’ has various types of lexicon explaining the different meanings in various forms

Abstract

Classroom action training begins with the problem of teachers who are still minimal in writing. The service team found that many teachers had not been able to combine observations in class. This research is a way for teachers to research in the classroom to find problems in the learning process. The teacher found many problems related to learning, namely process design, media, learning techniques, and learning outcomes. To realize good classroom action research techniques, training is done. Some teachers have not been able to write a good scientific paper. So the service team trains skilled teachers in writing. The service method begins with team formation, formulation of goals, and communication with the head of the Ministry of Religion office, then the analysis of needs in the field, determination of solutions to service problems and implementation. This training produces groups of writer teachers according to their respective fields. The team found already teachers who made classroom action research, but difficult in pouring it into the article. So that the team assists in writing classroom action research articles that will be published in journals. Follow-up assistance is carried out in the Whatsapp Messenger group.

Abstract

Tulisan ini berisi kajian tentang makna dan nilai yang terkandung di dalam tuturan Pintu Pazir Ziu Anak. Tuturan ini merupakan doa tradisi orang Riung di Kabupaten Ngada. Berdasarkan pencermatan terhadap teks tuturan dan ditunjang oleh pencecekan silang melalui wawancara dengan anggota guyub budaya Riung, diperoleh hasil analisis, sebagai berikut: tuturan Pintu Pazir Ziu Anak dalam budaya Riung mengandung makna religius dan makna sosial. Pemahaman makna religius berimplikasi pada sikap dan perilaku yang merupakan wujud pengayatan terhadap nilai-nilai: pemulihan, pemujaan dan permohonan, serta nilai kepasrahan. Dimensi kemanusiaan juga tampak dalam tuturan Pintu Pazir Ziu Anak. Dimensi kemanusiaan yang dipahami sebagai makna sosial mencakup nilai-nilai: nilai pencitraan, eknomis, kejujuran, dan nilai pewarisan. Baik mana dan nilai religius maupun makna dan nilai sosial, keduanya merupakan suatu keseluruhan membangun dan mewujudkan cara pandang orang Riung tentang Sang Pencipta dan manusia.

Abstract

This article contains a description of the results of research on the family relationship among Sabu Language (SL), Rote Language (RL), Tetun Language (TL), and Lamaholot language (LL). Based on the concept and glotocronology lexicostatistic, this study successfully reveals social relationships among those four languages, which are determined based on the computation of relative vocabulary and year split. This quantitative analysis presents the level of relationship closeness among SL, RL, TL, and LL, as follows: level relationship closeness between RL and TL of 24.5%; between SL and RL of 17.5%; between TL and LL of 17%; between SL and TL and between RL and LL, respectively 15%; and between SL and LL of 12.5%. Based on pedigree kinship dwipilah technique, it can be concluded that PSRTL (Proto Sabu-Rote-Tetun-Lamaholot) yields RL and LL. In the process of becoming RL, SL and TL emerge. Thus, the closeness of the relationship among the four languages ​​can be sorted as follows (from the closest one): RL-TL, RL, SL, TL, LL, SL, TL / RL-LL, and SL-LL. This proportional relationship closeness sequence with detachable years; closer social ties, more youthful-year split, on the contrary, the more distant kinship relationships, grow older year split. Abstract

Tim pengabdian menemukan masih banyak guru yang belum bisa meramu hasil pengamatan dalam kelas. Kegiatan ini merupakan cara penelitian guru dalam kelas untuk menemukan masalah dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru menemukan banyak masalah terkait pembelajaran, yakni: rancangan proses, media, teknik pembelajaran, dan hasil pembelajaran. Untuk merealisasikan teknik penelitian tindakan kelas yang baik, maka dibuat pelatihan. Ada juga guru yang belum mampu menulis sebuah karya ilmiah yang baik. Maka tim pengabdian melatih guru terampil dalam menulis. Metode pengabdian ini diawali dengan merencanakan lokasi pengabdian. Rencana dipersiapkan dengan matang agar tidak ada kendala di lapangan. Pelatihan ini menghasilkan kelompok guru penulis sesuai bidang masing-masing. Tim menemukan sudah ada guru yang dapat membuat penelitian tindakan kelasn namun masih kesulitan dalam menuangkannya ke dalam artikel sehingga tim mendampingi dalam penulisan artikel penelitian tindakan kelas yang akan diterbitkan di jurnal. Abstract

This paper will describe the practice of ecological responsibility that has been implemented in the Lopo Maus Congregation. The author began to stir the congregation when he saw land that was not being used. Even though the people around the Lopo Maus congregation have a large land area, striving for this land is to build an economy that is still below the poverty line. The challenge for land management in Kupang is that there is very little water. This writing aims to make the community make the best use of the land. This effort is made so that people love the environment more. The method that I use is qualitative, an objective approach that is carried out in the field. The results of the study found that first, land management requires persistence and patience. Second, good teamwork. Third, creating jobs. Fourth, environmental management as a concrete form of worship. Fifth, it can improve people's lives.

Abstract

Penulisan paper ini berupaya menemukan pelayanan admisnistrasi akademik kampus yang masih pada tataran cukup. Administrasi akademik memegang peranan dalam meniningkatkan penatalayanan kampus. Pelayanan administrasi yang baik akan memberi kepuasan yang maksimal. Kualitas pelayanan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan konsumen, dan kepuasan mahasiswa berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas mahasiswa. Pendekatan pelayanan yang dimaksud adalah sikap terhadap pekerjaan dan tanggung jawab yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjawab tantangan penatalayanan kampus terhadap mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan survei. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menobservasi perilaku kerja, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian ini menemukan hal-hal sebagai berikut: 1) Aspek tangible ditemukan pada kategori sangat memuaskan dan memuaskan. 2) Aspek Realibility ditemukan pada kategori memuaskan. 3) Aspek Responsive ditemukan pada kategori sangat memuskan dan memuaskan. 4. Abstract

This article discusses Multicultural Education Based on the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) for the sake of the Unity and Integrity of the Indonesian Nation. The diversity of ethnic groups (ethnics) in Indonesia, which number in the hundreds, is recognized and realized as the pillars of a diverse Indonesia. Indonesian-ness is not only imagined but Indonesian-ness that exists. That is why the right to life of every ethnic group with its rich culture, customs, traditions, language, and even its future, must be guaranteed. Every ethnic group has long had a living space, history, tradition, myth, and legend to strengthen its identity. The living space of ethnic groups, large or small several citizens still has the same right to live, position, and national and state roles in this country. Marginalization can occur. Moreover, subtle and systemic destruction violates human rights—equal rights and status for all religions, including belief in God Almighty as a tribal religion. Everyone should be given the same space and opportunity to live and an equal position. Thus, the domination of the majority and the tyranny of the minority should not be given the opportunity state to develop. There is an "original habitat" for each tribe with its cultural heritage, customs, traditions, language, and literature that must be preserved and maintained.

Abstract

Indonesian language as the identity of the Indonesian people can actually build the character of nationalism. Early Indonesian nationalism was sparked by colonialism as a common enemy. The originator of Indonesian nationalism today is a shared identity. The Indonesian language is one of those shared identities, alongside the flag, the state emblem and the national anthem. To strengthen the role of Indonesian in strengthening nationalism, it is necessary to have an output-oriented Indonesian language education that has a nationalist character, patriotism, and a sense of responsibility for the life of the Indonesian language. Indonesian language education must be able to reduce the pragmatism of the view on the importance of the Indonesian language, minimize the deviation from regulation on the Indonesian language, and foster the principle of learning Indonesian to achieve the Indonesian language in a global context.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi Guru dan Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Amarasi Selatan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini ialah : (1). Apakah ada pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Amarasi Selatan, (2), Apakah ada pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran langsung terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Amarasi Selatan, (3), Apakah ada pengaruh secara bersama kompetensi guru dan penggunaan model pembelajaran langsung terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Amarasi selatan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 70 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode angket. Sedangkan analisis datanya adalah secara kuantitatif dengan analisis dengan menggunakan program SPSS 20.0 For Windows , regresi berganda dan korelasi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) Adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikansi antara kompetensi guru terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai t hitung dari variabel Kompetensi Guru (X1) sebesar 2,490 > 1,996 (t tabel) dan nilai signifikan dari X1 adalah 0,015 < 0,05 (taraf signifikansi). (2) Adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikansi antara model pembelajaran langsung terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai t hitung dari variabel Model Pembelajaran Langsung (X2) sebesar 1,959 < 1,996 (t tabel ) dan nilai signifikan dari X2 adalah 0,542 < 0,05 (taraf signifikansi). (3) Adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikansi antara kompetensi guru dan model pembelajaran langsung terhadap motivasi belajar dengan nilai F hitung yang diperoleh sebesar 5,8560 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,05, yang mana hasil F hitung lebih besar jika dibandingkan dengan F tabelnya yaitu 2,7437, sedangkan hasil nilai signifikannya lebih kecil dari taraf signifikasinya (?=0,05).
