Abstract

Nutritional adequacy is an average adequacy of nutrients each day for people according to their age, gender, body size, body activity to reach the optimum health. Research to analize protein and energy consumption at lunch which was served for Mandiri class students of SMKN 2 Subang had been done. The objective of the research was to measure the adequacy of calory and protein intake of the students of SMKN 2 Subang based on menu plan. Menu was arranged for the cycle of 10 days. The descriptive method was applied in this research to find out the amount of energy and protein intake from lunch compared to the adequacy level that was recommended. Result of the analysis showed that contribution of protein from lunch compare to the recommended nutritional adequacy was 20.60% to 100.4%. Lunch menu at day 8th consisted of rice, stir-fried spinach and corn, and fried mujair fish contributed protein of more than 80%, and the contribution of protein was 19.88% to 31.42% that was less than the recommended adequacy level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the level of women's empowerment. The method used is survey research with a quantitative verification approach. The research was conducted in Indramayu Regency, using the Multiple Stage Sampling technique. Five (5) sub-districts were taken from 31 sub-districts, and 20 respondents were randomly selected from each sub-district so that the total number was 100 women respondents. Individual characteristics, competence, and availability of information are exogenous variables while the endogenous variable is the level of women's power. Analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), with calculations assisted by Smart PLS 4 software. The validity test was carried out to see valid indicators based on the loading factor value > 0.5, the reliability test was carried out on the research variables, and the SEM model was obtained in iteration 2. The results showed that individual characteristic variables, competence, and information availability contributed 61% to women's empowerment level. Individual characteristics have a positive effect of 0.77 and are significant on the level of women's empowerment. Women's competence needs to be increased, as well as the availability of information so that women can play an active role and increase their involvement in the economy and development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of Wana Wisata Kampoeng Ciherang before and during the COVID-19 Pandemic, as well as to determine the impact of tourist visits on the acceptance (Sales Turnover) of culinary traders in the Wana Wisata Kampoeng Ciherang area. This research method uses a survey method. 1) Based on the results of research on the performance of Kampoeng Ciherang Tourism before Covid-19, it was a very interesting local tourist area to visit. In addition to the very cool air, there are various games that tourists like. However, with the outbreak of the Covid19 pandemic, the Kampoeng Ciherang Tourism Area fell into a slump because the number of visiting tourists dropped dramatically during the Covid19 pandemic. Wana Wisata Kampoeng Ciherang is also equipped with various culinary offerings provided by food and beverage vendors selling around Kampoeng Ciherang Tourism. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the performance of culinary traders decreased drastically. 2) Before the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, the acceptance of culinary traders in the first month was Rp. 847,381 second month Rp. 655,952 and the third month Rp. 543,095 Meanwhile, during the Covid-19 pandemic, the acceptance of culinary traders in the first month was Rp. 370,238 second month Rp. 247,143 the third month Rp. 173,810 Based on the results of statistical tests using the dependent t-test (paired t-test), that there is a difference between the acceptance (sales turnover) of traders around the Kampoeng Ciherang Tourism Ecotourism area in the conditions before and when Covid-19 occurred.

Abstract

The demand for beef for consumption by the Indonesian people, which is increasing every year, is met through the production of local meat and imported meat. The government's efforts through the meat self-sufficiency program encourage the private sector to increase the beef cattle population by bringing in imported cattle. The physical condition of a larger cow will produce a lot of meat. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors of race, weight, price and sex of cattle correlated with carcass weight. The research method used is descriptive verification method with a quantitative approach. Variables calculated include nation, body weight, price, sex and carcass weight of cattle. To determine the relationship between the variables, the analysis used was parametric and non-parametric analysis. The results of the study based on the ANOVA test showed that the breed of cattle to the average carcass weight was significantly different (P <0.05), so it needed to be tested further using Tamhane. The results showed that heifer and bull cattle were not significantly different from carcass weight. Gender was not significantly different from carcass weight (P<0.05), cattle prices were significantly different from carcass weight (P>0.05) and cattle body weight was not significantly different. significantly to carcass weight (P<0.05).

Abstract

Family income could indicate the ability of family in fulfilling food necessity. Family with higher income could get sufficient food intake for the whole family members, especially toddler, so good nutritional status would be reached. Research had been conducted in Bojong Village Subdistrict of Pameungpeuk Garut Regency to find out the relationship between family income and nutritional status of toddler. Survey method was applied in this research with samples of 30 families who still have toddlers. The relationship between nutritional status of toddler and family income was tested by the Rank Spearman. Result of the research showed that there was a strong relationship between nutritional status of toddler and family income (r 3,06 much bigger than r - table 1,70. Determination Coefficient was 85.94 meant family income gave contribution 85.94% to nutritional status of toddler.

Abstract

The rice production improvement program is carried out to meet the needs and food security of a country, the results of cultivation and post-harvest innovations are delivered in agricultural counseling to be implemented by farmers in an effort to increase their agricultural yields . One of the results of innovation is how to grow rice with the legowo row 2:1 planting system can be socialized to farmer groups through Field Schools so that farmers can more easily understand and participate in practical demonstrations in the field as part of their experience. The research uses aquantitative approach, and a type of explanatory research type survey research that highlights the causal relationship between research variables and tests the hypotheses formulated. The subject of the study was the Sindang Kerta farmer group, West Java, with a total rice field area planted with rice as much as 2,396 ha by 90 farmers. This study used 2 types of variables, namely free variables and bound variables, each of the variables studied was a free variable 1 (X1) is the institutional or dynamic of farmer groups, the free variable 2 (X2) is a row legowo 2:1rice planting system, and the bound variable is an increase in rice production produced (Y). The data obtained were analyzed using SEM PLS. The results of the description of the farmer group institution show that the average value is >4.01, which means that the farmer group institution is very good, Based on the values of path coefficients or path coefficients, the resulting structural equation is as follows: Y = 0.631 X1 – 0.152 X2 which means that group institutions have a positive effect while the legowo row 2:1 planting system has less influence on the production of rice produced. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income of coconut sugar agroindustry craftsmen and determine the marketing efficiency of coconut sugar in Ciracap District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province. The use of business analysis and marketing analysis is the method chosen to find out how much income is earned by craftsmen and how much marketing efficiency has been carried out on the coconut sugar marketing chain in this area. Business analysis can be seen through the calculation of cost analysis, the results of the calculation of revenue, and the amount of income. Marketing analysis is obtained by looking at the efficiency of marketing channels, calculating marketing margins, and looking for the farmer's share value so that it is obtained how efficient the marketing flow has been by coconut sugar marketing actors. From the results of research that has been done, it can be seen that the average production cost of coconut sugar craftsmen is Rp. 4. 692,194 per month, the average income of the craftsmen Rp. 6,754,762 per month and the average monthly income of crafters is Rp.2,062,567 so that the R/C ratio obtained is 1.43. There are three patterns of coconut sugar marketing channels, namely marketing channel pattern 1, marketing channel pattern 2, and marketing channel pattern 3. Marketing channel pattern 3 is the most efficient marketing channel pattern in the coconut sugar marketing system in the research area. The total marketing margin generated in the pattern of marketing channels 1 and 2 is Rp. 6,054, and in channel 3 is Rp. 8,054, with farmer's share of 76.92%, 84.61%, and 66.67% for marketing channel patterns 1,2, and 3.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business performance of the processed food industry made from banana raw materials and the influence of production systems and marketing mix strategies on business success. The respondent determination technique used was stratified random proportionally based on the type of business, 65 respondents were selected. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of the study showed that there are 10 types of processed food industry made from bananas which are characterized: banana raw materials obtained locally at price of Rp. 2,500/kg to Rp. 5,000/kg, using simple technology, employing 2-3 workers, added value around Rp. equal to IDR 262,500/kg of raw material. . Performance of the Production System which includes the dimensions of: product planning; input/raw material subsystem; the process subsystem and the control subsystem in the banana-based processed food industry obtained an achievement of 80.86% with good criteria. Marketing Mix Strategy (Mix Marleting Strategic) which includes dimensions: product; prices; place; promotion in the processed food industry based on banana raw materials obtained an achievement of 75.29% good criterion. The success of the processed food industry based on banana raw materials which includes dimensions: quality of banana products; productivity; continuity, and the benefits obtained by the achievement of 77.71% criteria are good. There is a positive correlation between the Marketing Mix Strategy and the Production System as indicated by the correlation coefficient number r = 0.854 meaning that the better the Marketing Mix strategy is implemented, the better the Production System will be and vice versa. The production system and marketing mix strategy have a significant positive effect on business success in the processed food industry based on banana raw materials. The production system contribution was 51.04% greater than the contribution of the Marketing Mix Strategy of 32.78%. The remaining 16.18% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Coffee seed is one of the forest products with a lengthy marketing chain, in which numerous marketing agencies are involved; therefore, there is a need to improve efficiency in order to increase the value of existing coffee seed cultivation. It is regarded necessary to conduct research with the title "Factors Affecting Production of Arabica Coffee Seed Farming and Their Financial Implications." Farmers always anticipate high profits from their agricultural productions. To maximize profits, farmers and breeders must increase production and decrease production costs. Therefore, producers must be able to efficiently provide agricultural inputs on agricultural land. Not necessarily does the availability of agricultural inputs result in high productivity. Large income does not always indicate high efficiency, so efficiency measurements should follow the analysis of income. This study's target population consisted of Arabica coffee cultivators in Cianjur Regency. There are 30 individuals who propagate or sell Arabica coffee seeds. On the basis of the outcomes of field data analysis and hypothesis testing, as well as the discussion, the following research conclusions can be drawn: The performance of Arabica coffee seed cultivation in the Cianjur Regency is characterized by the use of leased land and an average business size of 7,700 stems. The required investment ranges between 2 and 8 million IDR. The seed mortality rate is approximately 22%, and the resulting products are separated into three grades: grade 1, 39.17%, grade 2, 35.87%, and grade three, 25%. The nature of the farmer's primary commercial enterprise is a source of support for the farmer's domestic economy. Seed inputs are acquired independently, and occasionally in collaboration with seed entrepreneurs from outside the city. Arabica coffee seed cultivation generates an average seasonal income of IDR 12,928,150 with a business efficiency rating of R/C 2.

Abstract

  Salah satu permasalahan pada Agrowisata kebun Buah Alam Segar adalah fluktuasi jumlah pengunjung Kebun Buah Alam Segar yang tidak menentu, terutama pada hari kerja. Meskipun pada hari Senin-Jumat (kecuali Rabu dan Kamis) biasanya terdapat pengunjung, namun dalam beberapa waktu terakhir terjadi penurunan yang cukup signifikan bahkan pada musim panen. Fenomena ini menunjukkan bahwa selain faktor musiman dan hari dalam seminggu, terdapat faktor lain yang mempengaruhi keputusan pengunjung, seperti daya tarik wisata dan aksesibilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh daya tarik  dan aksesibilitas wisata secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan berkunjung di Kebun Buah Alam Segar Ciptaharja, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan menggunakan metode survei. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode Simple Random Sampling terhadap 34 orang dari 134 orang, ukuran sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin. Teknis analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan : Bahwa secara simultan dan parsial terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dan positif antara Daya Tarik Wisata dan Aksesibilitas terhadap keputusan berkunjung ke obyek wisata Kebun Buah Alam Segar Ciptaharja,  Kabupaten Bandung Barat.   Kata Kunci : Daya Tarik, Aksesibilitas, Keputusan Berkunjung, Agrowisata
