Abstract

Di era gempuran kehidupan modern Kampung Naga masih mempertahankan kehidupan yang serba sederhana dengan memegang teguh adat istiadatnya, sehingga Kampung Naga memiliki suatu kearifan lokal yang terikat dengan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara kearifan lokal masyarakat setempat dalam pemeliharaan alam. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan sinetik atau holistik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan datanya bersumber dari data sekunder dan data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kearifan lokal di Kampung Naga ini tidak terlepas dari nilai-nilai leluhur yang terkandung dalam sistem religi atau kepercayaan. Selain itu dari bangunan rumahnya terbuat dari bahan tradisional, seperti kayu dan ijuk. Bentuk bangunan berupa rumah panggung yang mana dibawahnya digunakan sebagai kandang ayam guna mencegah kerusakan bangunan akibat rayap. Kampung Naga memiliki pembagian tata lahan yang terstruktur serta perlindungan terhadap fungsi ekologis yang dibagi menjadi 4 jenis hutan. Tidak hanya itu saja masyarakatnya masih menggunakan alat tradisional dalam mengelola lahan pertanian serta menggunakan kayu sebagai bahan bakar untuk memasak. Hal tersebut dapat membuktikan bahwa Kampung Naga memiliki kearifan lokal yang mampu menjaga kelestarian lingkungannya.

Abstract

Kecamatan Silo memiliki jenis topografi pegunungan yaitu pegunungan gumitir. Berdasarkan data dari BPBD Kabupaten Jember menyatakan bahwa di wilayah Kecamatan Silo selama 5 tahun terakhir telah mengalami 29 kali terjadi bencana tanah longsor. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji pemetaan daerah rawan bencana tanah longsor dengan metode Weighted Overlay dan persebaran tipe longsoran yang terjadi di Kecamatan Silo Kabupaten Jember. Metode dalam penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif kuantitatif. Pemetaan kerawanan tanah longsor menggunakan metode Weighted Overlay, sedangkan analisis penentuan tipe longsoran menggunakan rumus Indeks klasifikasi. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan kelas kerawanan rendah memiliki luas 7 Km², kerawanan sedang 151 Km², kerawanan tinggi 124 Km², dan kerawanan sangat tinggi 57 Km². Sebaran tipe longsoran di Kecamatan Silo terdiri dari 7 titik sampel dengan terdapat 4 hasil tipe longsoran yaitu Tipe longsoran Rotasional Slide terdapat pada lokasi 3, 5, 6, dan 7. Slide Flow terdapat pada lokasi 2. Planar Slide terdapat pada lokasi 1. Rock Fall terdapat pada lokasi 4.

Abstract

Buku teks geografi yang menjadi pegangan utama bagi peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran harus menyesuaikan dengan tujuan pembelajaran yang tertuang dalam kurikulum yang sedang berlaku dengan mengintegrasikan keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan berpikir spasial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis integrasi keterampilan abad 21 dan keterampilan berpikir spasial pada buku teks geografi kelas X SMA/MA. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Sumber data penelitian berupa buku teks geografi kelas X SMA/MA terbitan Erlangga karangan Yasinto Sindhu P. tahun 2016. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku teks mengintegrasikan keterampilan abad 21 sebesar 83% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan mengintegrasikan keterampilan berpikir spasial dengan kriteria rendah. Sebanyak 50% soal pada buku teks terintegrasi sebagai soal non-spatial, 95% soal dalam buku teks tidak menggunakan alat representasi serta 55% soal termasuk dalam proses penalaran input.

Abstract

Silo District, Jember Regency is an area with a mountainous topography dominated by relatively steep slopes. Many landslides occurred in the Silo District area. Based on the results of observations, in 2022 to July there have been 8 landslides in the Silo District area. Landslide disasters can be minimized by mapping landslide-prone areas. The mapping method used is a weighted overlay method for each parameter. The landslide parameters used in this study are: parameters of soil depth, rainfall, slope, soil type and land use. The final results of data processing for each parameter in this study will produce a map of landslide-prone areas in Silo District, Jember Regency. . Based on the research results, the landslide vulnerability classes are grouped into four classifications, namely low, medium, high and very high. The results showed that the Silo District was an area with high vulnerability (54%), medium vulnerability (37%), very high vulnerability (9%) and low vulnerability (1%). Mulyorejo Village is the village with the widest very high vulnerability classification in Silo District.

Abstract

Citra penginderaan jauh dapat digunakan untuk pemetaan jenis tanaman atau Crop Type Mapping.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan jenis tanaman pada musim kemarau I dan musim kemarau II. Dua citra pada waktu yang berbeda digunakan untuk memetakan jenis tanaman pada musim kemarau I dan II. Metode klasifikasi terbimbing (supervised) dan training area yang memadai digunakan untuk memetakan jenis tanaman yang ada pada wilayah tersebut. Prosedur penelitian mencakup: (1) pengambilan data lapang; pengambilan 43 titik GCP; (2) inventarisasi data citra sentinel-2; (3) pra pengolahan (mencakup komposit dan clipping); (4) pengolahan citra (mencakup penentuan kelas, pembuatan training area, dan klasifikasi citra); (5) uji akurasi; dan (6) pembuatan  peta tematik. Uji akurasi menghasilkan nilai overall dan kappa akurasi sebesar 67.85% dan 59.93% (untuk MK I) serta sebesar 71.39% dan 64.58% (untuk MK II). Secara umum, citra sentinel dapat digunakan untuk memetakan jenis tanaman pada musim kemarau I dan II.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study is to analyze the main problem in the classroom and improve student learning outcomes in environmental material in SMP Negeri 2 Sukodono. This research is a classroom action research carried out in 2 action cycles. In this study the data obtained in the form of student learning activities, the value of the discussion, and the value of student learning outcomes. The results showed that with the implementation of discovery learning could be improved the activities and learning outcomes of the students in understanding the environmental problems material. Its indicated by the increase of student learning activities from 65.07% (enough) in the first cycle increased to 76.67 % (good) in cycle II. key words : Discovery Learning, Learning Activity, Learning Outcomes. Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of learning outcomes geography by applying Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) on the concept of environmental pollution. This research was conducted at SMPN 2 Sukodono, Lumajang. The method used in this study is the method Classroom Action Research (CAR), PTK is implemented as an effort to overcome problems that arise in certain classes. This method is done with four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. The four stages are cycles that take place repeatedly and carried out with the same steps and focused on learning Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Based on the results research that has been done shows that student learning outcomes increased. This increase can be seen through the cycle have been done. In the first cycle the average student learning outcomes were 54.76 at the time of the pretest and 77.46 at the time of post-test. Abstract

Geography Learning in XI Social Science Classes still dominated by conventional teaching methods that make students become unmotivated in learning. Therefore, it is necessary to apply a model of learning that can foster activity and student’s level of knowledge. The Group Investigation Learning model (GI) has several advantages. Advantages of Group Investigation Learning model among others: (1) increase the ability to think critically, (2) creating a learning environment that is democratic, (3) enhance the development of soft skills, (4) may improve social solidarity, dan (5) improve student’s level of knowledge to learn. The purpose of this study to analyze the influence of group investigation learning model towards the level of mangrove knowledge of students in senior high school. The type of research is the quasi-experimental study with non equivalent control group posttest only design. The subject of the study consisted of class XI Social Science are selected based on the score of Middle Semester Exam (UTS) 2 on 2014-2015 teachings year that had an average of almost the same (homogeneous).The results of this study are showed significant influence of GI models on Geography level of knowledge to learn of students. It was based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 level. P-level value is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05). The average score student’s level of knowledge to learn geography experimental class is higher with a score of 208, while the control class w ith a score of 177. That's because the investigations conducted the mangrove forest, teachers simply deliver early learning problems, frequent interaction between students during learning, and students investigate different sub-themes. Abstract

This study aims to explain the condition of professionalism and efforts to improve the competence of teachers IPS in Jember District. The sampling technique was done by random sampling which amounted to 55 person. Methods of data collection with questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis uses a percentage descriptive. The result of the research shows that the competency of professionalism of IPS teachers is as follows: the acquisition of materials, concepts and scholarship of IPS teachers is 87.25% in the high category, the development of learning materials supported by IPS teachers creatively is 92.04% including in the high category; mastery of basic competence and basic competence by 87.05% including high category, utilization of communication technology for self-development of IPS teachers of 86.35% included in the high category. In general, the competency of professionalism of IPS teachers in Jember district is categorized as high, namely 88.17%, while the effort to increase the professional competence of IPS teachers as follows: joining the training and seminar of 66.81% low category; developing syllabus and IPS RPP of 70.50%; doing PTK 48.95% low category; develop science of technology in learning 74.82% high category. Overall, the effort to improve the professionalism competence of IPS Junior High School teachers in Jember District is 71.34 included in the high category. The type of research is the quasi-experimental study with nonequivalent control group posttest only design. The subject of the study consisted of class XI Social Science are selected based on the score of Final Semester Exam on 2014-2015 teachings year that had an average of almost the same (homogeneous).The results of this study are showed significant influence of GI models on Geography level of knowledge to learn of students. It was based on the results of the Independent Sample T-Test analysis showed a p-value of 0.000 level. P-level value is smaller than 0.05 (p <0.05).
