Abstract

Pia business feasibility analysis is conducted to assist SMEs kusuma son to see the feasibility of pia business so feasible to be developed. This research aims to analyze: 1) production cost structure of pia business in Ukm Putra Kusuma, 2) business income of pia in Ukm Putra Kusuma, 3) Feasibility of pia business in ukm kusuma son. This research was conducted at Kecamatan Sipatana Kota Gorontalo, from september until november 2017. The method used in this survey is survey method. The data collected includes secondary data and primary data. Primary data were obtained by direct interviews with employees while secondary data were obtained from books and BPS. Analysis of data used is the analysis include the cost structure of pia business production, business income pia, pia business feasibility in SMEs kusuma son in Kecamatan Sipatana City Gorontalo. The results showed that the production cost structure of business per month with fixed costs Average of Rp. 2.980.000 Monthly variable cost Average Rp. 10.760.000, the average value per month from the income of pia business is Rp. 25,000,000. while net income per month pia business in SMEs kusuma son is Rp. 11.260 million. the feasibility of pia business in SMEs Putra Kusuma street Kecamatan Sipatana City Gorontalo can be said worthy to be cultivated With the value of R/C ratio 1,81.

Abstract

This study aims at determining strategic role groups related to the management of agro-science technopark site based on external conditions (opportunities and threats) and internal condition (strengths and weaknesses). Data were collected through observation and focus group discussion. Data analysis in this study employs SWOT analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). SWOT analysis uses internal and competitiveness factors to reveal that the strategic position of the management is within the first quadrant (Strengths-Opportunities strategy) with the coordinate points of 0.76 and 2.52. Paired comparative evaluation with AHP reveals that the global priority value from strategic role groups is: PS1 (0.419) local government’s role, stakeholders, and institutional management; PS2 (0.239) research institutions’ role, research and development; PS3 (0.210) community and business world’s role; PS5 (0.136) regional condition and availability of raw materials’ role; and PS4 (0.131) institutional role and marketing system.

Abstract

The feasibility and income farmers household of the agropolitan program in Gorontalo has been analysed with R/C Ratio and analysis of quantative-induktif model of multiple regresi which was using some data survey based interview and observation that consist of sekunder and primary data survey. The survey of secunder data means to get a data was available that relate with the implmentation of agropolitan program in Province Gorontalo. The survey of primary data has done at the farmer of maize to know the income of the farmer house hold. Result of analysis of the maize farming was known R/C ratio of the maize farming in Pulubala Subahstrict 2.60, Wonosari 1.77, Mananggu 1.53, Patilanggio 1.49 Randangan 2.84 and the whole R/C ratio are 2.18 in Province Gorontalo. This mean that the maize farming at the Agropolitan Program with the profit approach was feasible to be expanded. Contribution income of the farmers house hold in Province Gorontalo from maize farming are 64.03%. The thing prove dependence farmer at maize are very high as source income of household.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of farmers perceptions and the level of performance of Agricultural Extension Workers in Talumelito Village, Telaga Biru District, Gorontalo District. The study was conducted in October until November 2017 with a sample of 32 farmers who were members of the farmer group. The research method used is survey method. The data analysis used in that is descriptive analysis with percentage formula and Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed that the perception of farmers based on the aspects of knowledge, attitudes and capabilities to the indicators of agricultural extension workers performance in the category enough with a percentage of 74.7%. While the level of agricultural extension performance seen from the aspect of knowledge, attitude and skill of extension to standard of extension performance indicator based on farmer perception is in very good category with percentage equal to 91%. Furthermore, the results of research on the relationship between farmer perceptions and agricultural extension performance showed a relationship between farmers perceptions (x) with agricultural extension performance (y) with the value of the relationship of 0.509 at the 0.05 error level and included in the category of strong correlation / correlation.

Abstract

An agricultural extension activity is one of methods for changing knowledge, attitudes and behavior of farmers.Therefore, the adoption of technology and sharing of knowledge between farmers and extension workers can occur in transactional basis. The objectives of this paper are 1) to identify the innovation of extension Poloyode and, 2) to determine the communication approach in Poloyode innovation in Gorontalo regency. Findings of this paper show that: 1) Innovation of Poloyode extension is an innovation in agricultural extension that based on the local culture of Gorontalo regency. Innovation of Poloyode extension has 5 main outreach activities on assisting farmers sourced from indigenous philosophy of Gorontalo such as  Tuwoto, Mongembito, Maduma, Doluhupa and Molinepo; 2) innovation of Poloyode extension is only implemented internally by BP4K and BP3K , not to involve other stakeholders in agriculture.Keywords: Innovation Transactional Counseling, Poloyode, local culture, Gorontalo

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengidentifikasi pemanfaatan potensi tenaga kerja petani jagung di Desa Datahu Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Datahu Kecamatan Tibawa Kabupaten Gorontalo dari bulan September sampai bulan Oktober 2017 dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang petani. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah metode survey. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis alokasi waktu kerja dan Analisis Waktu Kerja Pada Luar Sektor Pertanian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan 1) Potensi tenaga kerja di Desa Datahu dilihat dari rata-rata penggunaan tenaga kerja luar keluarga (TKLK) yaitu 47,35 dan tenaga kerja dalam keluarga (TKDK) yaitu 16,99 per musim tanam dengan rata-rata alokasi waktu kerja sebanyak 41,32 hari. Sementara itu, waktu luang yang digunakan petani untuk kegiatan usahatani non jagung yaitu sebanyak 7,2  HOK, di sektor non pertanian dengan waktu yang digunakan sebanyak 10,51 HOK, serta terdapat sebanyak 82,29 HOK yang tidak menggunakan waktu luang untuk bekerja. 2) Kecenderungan petani dalam memanfaatkan waktu luang tergantung pada hasil produksi usahataninya. Jika hasil produksi jagung bisa memenuhi kebutuhan rumah tangga petani maka petani akan menikmati waktu luang yang dimilikinya seperti bersantai,berkumpul dengan keluarga dan kegiatan-kegiatan lainnya yang bisa menghibur dirinya dan keluarganya. Tapi sebaliknya jika hasil produksi jagung  rendah maka petani lebih memilih untuk melakukan hal-hal produktif seperti beternak sapi, ojek bentor , pengrajin kayu dan berdagang.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan perindustrian di Provinsi Gorontalo telah mengalami perubahan kemajuan pada setiap sektor usaha, tercatat pada Tahun 2017 terdapat 36.465 unit usaha tersebar di Gorontalo. Peneltian ini bertujuan 1) Mengetahui inovasi produk apa saja yang mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pada UKM Flamboyan di Kota Gorontalo. 2) Menganalisis variabel apakah yang paling mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian pada UKM Flamboyan di Kota Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan maret – april 2018 di UKM Flamboyan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan survey dengan analisis data menggunkan analisis deskriptif kualitatif, dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Variabel kualitas produk berpengaruh positif tetapi belum cukup signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 1,202. 2) Variabel varian produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 3,816. 3) Variabel desain produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk pada UKM Flamboyan dengan nilai thitung 2,621. Koefisien determinasi (R2) = 0,552 yang menunjukkan 55,2% pengaruh kualitas produk, varian produk, desain produk dan 44.8% dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak diteliti.

Abstract

This study was aimed at analyzing: (1) the level of income from peanut agribusiness in Pulubala Sub-district, District of Gorontalo, 2) marketing distribution of peanut agribusiness in Pulubala Sub-district, District of Gorotnalo, 3) the marketing margin of peanut agribusiness in Pulubala Sub-district, District of Gorontalo. This research was conducted in Pulubala Sub-district, District of Gorontalo from August to November 2016 with samples that consisted of 55 farmers and 10 traders. The study used survey method. The data were analyzed using the income analysis, distribution analysis and marketing margin analysis. It revealed the difference on the level of income of the farmers based on land ownership status in peanut agribusiness, which the average owner as well as worker's income was IDR. 2,964,608.08 and the average income per hectare was IDR. 3,631,856.07. Whereas, the tenant farmers' average income was 1DR. 2,930,753.97 with the average income per hectare was IDR. 2,567,083.77. There were three marketing channels for peanut agribusiness in Pulubala Sub-district that comprised of, first marketing channel was from farmer intermediaries big traders consumers. The second channel was from farmer intermediaries small traders consumers. In addition, the third channel was from farmers consumers. The marketing margin in the first channel was IDR.12,500 and in the second channel was IDR. 12,000. The biggest margin was obtained in the first channel, in which the big traders had caused the income of farmers become smaller than the traders were. The third channel had no margin because it was a direct channel. Therefore, the third channel was the most profitable for producer. Keywords: Peanut, Marketing channel, Marketing margin
