Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the world of education in Indonesia. The transformation of the face-to-face learning system in the classroom into an online learning system is a very important and urgent problem faced by the world of education. Since the beginning of the pandemic until now, the issue of learning online systems has been the focus of various studies. However, research on online learning at the Tampung Penyang State Hindu Institute (IAHN-TP) Palangka Raya is not yet available. Researchers are interested in studying online system learning at IAHN-TP Palangka Raya with a focus on problems how is the online system learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic at IAHN-TP Palangka Raya.The theory used to examine and describe the formulation of the research problem is the theory of phenomenology and the theory of the learning process. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological research method with an emic approach. Data obtained from observations, interviews, and document studies. Furthermore, the data obtained are reduced, presented, and a conclusion is drawn.The data studied and analyzed using phenomenological theory and learning process theory show the following points, preparations made by lecturers in the online system learning process include the preparation of more detailed teaching materials, more interesting teaching techniques, the availability of learning tools, and the availability of internet networks. The implementation of learning is done virtual asynchronously and collaboratively synchronously by applying RQA and HOTS. Evaluation of learning outcomes is carried out online in the form of multiple choice of questions and self-analysis.Kata Kunci : learning process, online learning, learning during covid-19 pandemic

Abstract

Praktik tradisi ngokoi okan perentehu terdapat nilai-nilai, norma dan kepercayaan yang berfungsi sebagai pedoman yang memberi orientasi kepada kehidupan komunitas Dayak Lawangan. Teori fungsionalisme struktural memandang masyarakat sebagai suatu sistem, secara fungsional. Menurut Talcott Parson fungsi adalah kumpulan kegiatan yang ditujukan menunjangn keseimbangan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan sistem. Aktivitas tradisi ngokoi okan perentehu merupakan perwujudaan sebuah sistem keseimbangan yang fungsinya saling beradaptasi, pencapaian tujuan yang sama kepada Jo'us Tuha Allah Tala, berintegrasi dalam pranata kehidupan Dayak Lawangan dan pemeliharaan pola dalam tradisi yang berjalan dan dilestarikan antar generasi yang melahirkan fungsi religius, fungsi norma sosial, dan fungsi estetika.

Abstract

Agama sering dinyatakan sebagai kekuatan yang mengikat sambil menjaga potensi konflik. Agama memiliki peran sentral dalam institusi kehidupan dan memberikan kenyamanan batin bagi penganutnya. Siwaratri adalah praktik ritual Hindu. Pada skala mikro, itu adalah simbol Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa / Ranying Hatalla Langit. Kemudian, pada lingkup makro membangun kesadaran multikultur.

Abstract

Peran mandong dayang merupakan realitas sosial budaya yang tak terpisahkan dari struktur sosial budaya komunitas etnis Dayak Lawangan yang beragama Hindu (Hindu Kaharingan). Peran penting mandong dayang sebagai pendamping dan membantu balian (pemimpin ritual) dalam praktik ritual. Hubungan balian dengan mandong dayang merupakan hubungan relasi kuasa dan otoritas religius. Permasalahan yang diteliti adalah bagaimana proses menjadi mandong dayang, dan implementasi perannya dalam praktik ritual komunitas Dayak Lawangan di Kecamatan Dusun Tengah, Kabupaten Barito Timur, Kalimantan Tengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Analisis masalah menggunakan teori kekuasaan dan pengetahuan Michael Foucault dan teori praktik sosial Pierre Bourdieu. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut modal simbolik seorang mandong dayang diperoleh melalui proses berguru. Proses belajar calon mandong dayang meliputi dua tahap yaitu: (1) berhayak dan (2) nyawit nginte. Peran mandong dayang memiliki fungsi vertikal terkait aspek ritual puja bakti kepada Juus Tuha Alah Tala dan fungsi horisontal terkait fungsi sosial di dalam pranata sosial masyarakat. Mandong dayang mendapatkan otoritas praktik ritual. Otoritas tersebut dalam bentuk kuasa pengetahuan atas prestise sebagai pembantu balian. Otoritas tersebut menjadikan mandong dayang sebagai agen pembertahanan sebuah praktik ritual.

Abstract

Yajña Sesa is the simplest food offering consisting of rice, side dishes (cooked) as symbol of gratitude to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa/God Almighty. In fact, there is a lack understanding of some people related to the form of implementation, functions and values ​​of Yajña Sesa. The theories used in this study are the theory of symbols, structural functional theory and value theory. The research method used is a qualitative method. The types of data sources are primary and secondary data sources. This study used purposive sampling and data collection techniques with observation, interviews and document study.

Abstract

Tewang Kadamba Village is a village located in Katingan Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. In this village, there are various ethnic groups and the dominant language is the Dayak Kaharingan and there are also three religions namely Hinduism, Islam and Christianity where the dominant religion is Islam and Hindu Kaharingan. Seen from a religious perspective, even though there are differences they still maintain, appreciate, respect, and tolerate these differences. There is one problem or problem regarding religious knowledge and enthusiasm for worship in Tewang Kadamba Village. In this regard, the purpose of this study is to find out and describe religious understanding and how people acquire religious knowledge and strengthen religion through regeneration and cadres. The method used is PAR. The results of community service are good understanding of religion and ways to acquire religious knowledge through school education and activities in places of worship. Then related to strengthening religion through regeneration and cadres is a good idea for empowering the people of Tewang Kadamba Village.

Abstract

The moral crisis is no longer a simple case but has serious consequences for the students, meanwhile to build a developed country it is necessary to have a young generation with noble character and character. This personality case can be seen from the existence of student brawls, juvenile delinquency, crime among young people, and so on. The phenomenon that occurs in several areas in South Barito Regency proves that this character education crisis also occurs in the region where juvenile delinquency is rampant and has entered the realm of crime. The role of Hindu religious instructors in character education for the younger generation in South Barito Regency is to teach knowledge about religious teachings and train religious skills. To do this, Hindu religious instructors also guide and motivate the younger generation to be diligent and study hard and be involved in the activities carried out. Hindu religious instructors also set an example for the younger generation in appearance and behavior in accordance with the teachings of goodness. The role of the Hindu religious instructor is to bring about a change in the character of the young generation of Hindus in South Barito Regency for the better.

Abstract

Lagu keagamaan tidak hanya sebuah lagu biasa yang dinyanyikan di Pasraman, tetapi lagu keagamaan adalah sebuah lagu dengan lirik yang memuat ajaran tentang pendidikan agama Hindu. Berdasarkan observasi yang penulis lakukan, terdapat perbedaan antara harapan dan kenyataan yang menghasilkan suatu gap, selain itu berdasarkan hasil pencarian literature kepustakaan yang serupa, masih banyak bahkan belum ada yang mengkaji terkait peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu. Penelitian ini terfokus pada peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman Kota Palangka Raya dengan rumusan masalah yakni bagaimana peran dan fungsi lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu di Pasraman Kota Palangka Raya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data didapatkan hasil yakni, peran lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu sebagai berikut: 1) Pemotivasi peningkatan keimanan, 2) Pengembang pendidikan karakter, dan 3) Pedoman interaksi sosial. Fungsi lagu keagamaan dalam pendidikan agama Hindu yakni: 1) Meningkatkan keimanan, 2) Mengembangkan pendidikan karakter, dan 3) Meningkatkan hidup bersosialisasi.

Abstract

This article explores forms of orthodoxy in Kaharingan Hinduism with a focus on the role of the Besorah ritual and local cultural sustainability in Pasir Panjang Village, Central Kalimantan. The background of this research is rooted in the challenges faced in maintaining authentic religious practices amidst the influence of modernization and globalization. The purpose of the research is to analyze how the Besorah ritual serves as a means to strengthen the cultural and religious identity of the local community. The methodology used is a qualitative approach, through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with community leaders and ritual participants. The results show that the Besorah ritual is not just a religious practice, but also a manifestation of cultural values passed down through generations, which contributes to the sustainability of local identity. The ritual strengthens community solidarity and cements the understanding of orthodoxy among Kaharingan Hindus. The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of the Besorah ritual as a tool to maintain and strengthen religious orthodoxy in the context of local cultural dynamics, and highlights the need to preserve traditional practices in the face of modern challenges.

Abstract

This article elaborates on the development of comics in Indonesia, with particular attention to their previously marginalized position within the realm of education. Comics have long been dismissed in educational settings, often regarded as mere imaginative works whose image-dominated content was believed to discourage students from reading. In contrast to this view, comic scholars advocate a more serious appreciation of comics. Elements such as narrative structure, characterization, and the messages conveyed by comic authors constitute significant strengths that are comparable to those found in other esteemed forms of literature. This recognition has increasingly gained traction among contemporary educators. Consequently, comics—once prohibited in educational contexts—have now emerged as valuable learning resources across various levels of education in Indonesia
