Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari informasi tentang sejauhmana kompetensi guru dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sebagai media dalam proses pembelajaran dan rofes-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat pemanfaatannya. Sampel di dalam penelitian ini adalah para guru dan kepala sekolah tingkat dasar dan menengah Muhammadiyah yang ada di kabupaten Sorong sebanyak 5 guru dan 5 Kepala Sekolah. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan kuisioner yang diisi oleh responden, Sedangkan metode analisis datanya adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dimana penyajian data ditampilkan dalam bentuk rofe dan grafik. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa hanya 54% guru yang kompeten untuk memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam pembelajaran di sekolahnya dan hanya mencapai 58% kepala sekolah dalam kebijakannya berhasil mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi di sekolahnya Berdasarkan hasil ini, maka perlu dilakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi sebagai media pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tujuan Keseluruan dari program ini adalah untuk menguji pendekatan yang efektif dan keberlanjutan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi (baca tulis) pada Sekolah Dasar di wilayah pinggiran dan Terpencil di Kabupaten Sorong. Dampak yang diharapkan adalah peningkatan hasil pembelajaran dalam membaca dan pemahaman pada Sekolah Dasar di Wilayah Pinggiran dan Terpencil Kabupaten Sorong. Hasil akhir yang diharapkan dari kegiatan/program ini adalah: 1). Setelah adanya hasil ini diharapkan terdapat metode/model yang dapat mengubah perilaku guru – guru baik laki maupun perempuan, dan praktik mengajar di kelas secara regular dengan menggunakan material sesuai dengan konteks kelas awal. 2) Mengukur kemajuan kemampuan membaca dan pemahaman siswa kelas 2 dan kelas 3 di sekolah sasaran. 3)Pemerintah mereplikasi dan mengimplementasikan program ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi baca dan tulis kelas awal.

Abstract

This research was aimed to find information about the extent of teachers competence in using information and communication technology as a medium in the learning process and supporting factors, inhibiting the use of it. The samples  in this   research were the teachers and headmasters of Muhammadiyah elementary school and secondary schools in Sorong regency, with 5   teachers and 5 headmasters. Data collection techniques in this research is using a questionnaires with  completed  by  the  respondents, while the method of data  analysis  is descriptive quantitative method, where the presentation of the data shown in tables and graphs. The results showed that only 54% of teachers who are competent to  use  information  and  communication technology  in  learning in their school and only reached   58%  of headmasters in  successful  policy  to  encourage the  use  of  information  and communication technology in schools. Abstract

Salah satu upaya untuk mewujudkan tujuan dalam pencegahan Covid-19 adalah perlu diadakannya sosialisasi yang menarik dan melibatkan masyarakat dari berbagai kalangan. Sehingga masyarakat dapat dengan mudah mencerna apa yang di sampaikan dalam sosialisasi upaya pencegahan Covid-19 tersebut. Oleh karena itu, dengan diadakannya Kuliah Pengabdian Masyarakat – Magang Terintegrasi (KPM-MT) UNIMUDA Sorong tahun 2020 ini dapat membantu masyarakat Kelurahan Klamalu khususnya dalam upaya pemutusan mata rantai Covid-19. Kelurahan Klamalu merupakan salah satu bagian dari Kecamatan Mariat yang terletak di Kabupaten Sorong, Papua Barat daerah yang dalam kategori padat penduduk hal di kabupaten Sorong karena daerah ini merupakan daerah transmigrasi yang masyarakatnya sudah asimilasi dengan masyarakat lokal, sehingga dalam memberikan pemahanan tentang hidup bersih dan sehat dengan menggunakan media video dan famlet lebih mudah

Abstract

Early Childhood Education is a crucial foundation for a child's holistic development. This sector faces various challenges, including diverse individual needs, limited resources, and teacher qualifications. With the rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the question arises whether this technology can be an effective solution to overcome these obstacles. This journal explores the potential of AI in addressing ECE challenges, analysing both the opportunities and risks involved. We discuss how AI can support personalized learning, enhance accessibility, and alleviate the workload of educators. However, we also emphasize the importance of maintaining human interaction, data ethics, and mitigating bias. This journal concludes that while AI holds significant promise as a supportive tool, its implementation must be carried out carefully, integrated thoughtfully, and always prioritize the holistic development of the child.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out whether or not the use of cooperative learning Think-Pair-Share in teaching reading able to improve the students reading comprehension ability of the middle school students. The sample of this study is the students in SMP IT Nurul Yaqin Sorong, west Papua there are 60 students, it consisted of 2 parallel classes; each class consisted of 30 students. The method used in this research was quasi-experimental method, here the writer uses two classes as sample, namely experimental class and control class. Based on the findings, it concludes that need analysis is the means of total score for post-test of experimental class and control class one was different. Where the t-test value is greater (6.178) than the t-table value (2.00) for 0.05 level of significance, degree of freedom (N1+N2-2) 58. This means that the achievement of the students who were thought rerated through cooperative learning in reading comprehension is different. Thus, the alternative hypothesis saying that there is significant difference in reading achievement between students learning reading by using cooperative learning and without using cooperative learning.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to find out whether a tree diagram technique is effective or not in teaching vocabulary at seventh grade in MTs Muhammadiyah 2 Aimas. Related to the objective of the research used pre- experimental quantitative research design. The design of this research is one group pretest- posttest. The population of this research was seventh grade students divide two classes that were VII A and VII B and the total them are 24 students. Based on purposive sampling, the researcher chosed seventh B grade and which total are 18 students because the class is lack of vocabulary so the low score. In the collecting the data, the researcher used 20 items multiple choice for pretest and posttest. In analyzed the data, the researcher used SPSS 20 program to calculation the data.The result finding of the research showed that the result of N-gain is (58.46) or (58%) the categorized was quiet effective. In addition to result of T-test is P value (0.000) < ? (0.05), it means that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The alternative hyphothesis (Ha) was there is an effective in teaching vocabulary using tree diagram between pretest and posttest. And also , it can be seen from the mean score from the posttest was (45.83) improved on posstest ( 77.50). It can be concluded that tree diagram technique in teaching vocabulary were effective in teaching vocabulary.

Abstract

In this study, the researcher used LRD strategy on narrative text to research The Influence of Using Listen-Read-Discuss (LRD) Strategy towards Students’ Reading Comprehension on Narrative Text at The Eleventh Grade of SMK Muhammadiyah Aimas, Sorong. This research was quantitative research. The researcher used quasi experimental research design. From the data analysis, the objective of this study is to know whether or not there is any significant influence of Listen-Read-Discuss (LRD) strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text at the eleventh grade of SMK Muhammadiyah Aimas, Sorong. Based on the data analysis, there is a significant influence of using Listen-Read-Discuss (LRD) strategy towards students’ reading comprehension on narrative text at the eleventh grade of SMK Muhammadiyah Aimas, Sorong after the strategy was applied.

Abstract

Role play is a tool of dramatic explorations, which engages participants within an aesthetic, there-dimensional problem-solving process to examine, explore, and reflect upon issue of personal and collective importance. The aim of study was to find out whether or not the use of role play of daily conversation in teaching speaking is able to improve the students’ speaking ability or not. This research used quasi-experimental method. The sample of the research is 30 students of first grade of SMA Muhammadiyah Aimas which was divided into two classes. The data has collected through interview on pre-test and role play show on post-test. The data analysis showed the improvements of the students’ speaking ability who are studied through role play. It was proven by the mean score of experimental class was 72.3 with SD 3,527 higher than control class was 65,7 with SD 4,154. In other words, Role Play techniques can improve the speaking ability of the students.
