Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh penambahan karbon dari material limbah berupa arang tempurung kelapa dan arang limbah kayu terhadap waktu pembakaran yang diperlukan batu bata untuk mencapai kuat tekan sesuai standar minimal. Disamping juga pengaruhnya terhadap karakteristik fisik dan mekanis batu bata. Karakteristik fisis yang ditinjau berupa porositas, berat jenis, dan susut bakar, sedangkan karakteristik mekanisnya berupa kuat tekan.  Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan melakukan pengujian terhadap sampel yang berupa batu bata merah pejal dengan dimensi 23 cm x 11 cm x 5 cm. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 360 buah. Untuk masing-masing jenis arang yang digunakan, 6 buah benda uji digunakan untuk pengujian tekan dan 6 buah benda uji untuk pengujian fisis, untuk tiap lama pembakaran dan persentase penggunaan arang. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) Semua pengujian kuat tekan batu bata memenuhi standar mutu bata SK SNI-S-04-1989-F yakni memenuhi standar batu bata kelas 25 dan kelas 50, 2) Semua pengujian berat jenis memenuhi standar berat jenis batu bata normal, dengan berat jenis dihasilkan kurang dari 1,8 gr/cm3, 3) Semua pengujian susut bakar bahan uji memenuhi standar susut bakar maksimal, yaitu masih dibawah 15%, dan 4) Pengujian porositas arang tempurung kelapa semua memenuhi syarat porositas maksimal, sedangkan pengujian porositas arang limbah kayu tidak memenuhi standar yaitu di atas 20%. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of rice husk ash and ash rice straw against physical and mechanical characteristics of the bricks, and also to determine the minimal burning time in the manufacture of clay bricks with additional ingredients such waste to achieve physical and mechanical characteristics bricks in accordance with standard bricks. Variations of burning time is 12 hours, 18 hours, 24 hours, and 30 hours. While the variation of rice husk ash and rice straw ash is 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20%. The bricks were tested based on physical and mechanical characteristics. Physical characteristics include specific gravity test, fuel and shrinkage porosity test. While the mechanical characteristics are compressive strength test.Based on these results, it was found that all the bricks compressive strength test in accordance with ISO standards SK-S-04-1989-F, which is entering grade 25 and 50. The density is smaller than the standard that is 1.8 to 2.6 g / cm3. Test shrinkage derived fuel is smaller than the standard that is <15%. While the porosity test found to be greater than the standard (<20%). The highest compression strength is 7.35 MPa is achieved with brick with an additional 20% ash burning rice straw in 12 hours. Its low specific gravity of 1.32 g / cm3, achieved by brick with the addition of 20% rice husk ash on burning 30 hours. Losses lowest fuel that is 0.90% achieved by brick with the addition of 20% rice husk ash on burning 12 hours. While the lowest was 33.17% porosity is achieved by brick with the addition of 10% rice husk ash on burning 24 hours.

Abstract

Lockbrick modular merupakan hasil desain prapabrikasi komponen bangunan gedung.Lockbrick modular merupakan bahan dinding, yang pelaksanaannya tidakmembutuhkan spesi pengikat, melainkan cukup disusun dan dirangkai, masing-masingsaling mengunci oleh karena sisi sambungan berbentuk sambungan jantan betina. Lockbrick modular dapat untuk berbagai tinggi dan lebar dinding sesuai kelipatan dimensi modul 15 cm. Bagian dalam dinding Lockbrick modular ada lubang 7 cm x 7 cm menerus dari atas ke bawah berfungsi mengurangi bobot, penghambat panas, untuk perkuatan dinding, tempat pipa air bersih, dan kabel listrik. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kuat tekan, daya serap air lockbrick modular yang memenuhi syarat mutu SNI, dan biaya per-m2 dinding yang menggunakan lockbrick. Metode penelitianeksperimen dengan uji kuat tekan, daya serap air dan menghitung biaya dinding menggunakan acuan Harga Satuan Pekerjaan Bahan dan Upah Pekerjaan Konstruksi Propinsi Jawa Tengah Untuk Kota Surakarta. Prosentase campuran adalah 1 pc : 4 agregat, yang terdiri dari pasir : ladu : kerikil dengan berbagai variasi komposisi. Masingmasing komposisi dicetak 3 lockbrick modular. Hasil peneli-tian adalah produk lockbrick modular memenuhi syarat mutu kuat tekan dan daya serap air SNI bata beton berlubang mutu II, III dan IV.  Produk lockbrick modular dengan kuat tekan optimal 6.84 MPa,daya serap air 19.55% memenuhi syarat mutu II. Biaya dinding lockbrick modular per-m2, 24% lebih murah dari biaya dinding batako

Abstract

The aim of this study are to determine the quality of the Learning Cycle 7E model and found a pattern of algebraic thinking ability of 7th grade students’ in solving algebra problem viewed by disposition mathematics. The research uses mixed methods study with concurrent embeded design. The subjects of this research were 7th grade students. Quantitative data was tested with the z test and Independent t-test, whereas qualitative data were analyzed descriptively. Learning quality is assessed from the planning, implementation and evaluation stage. The result of this research shows that Learning Cycle 7E model in good criteria. Students in the high mathematical disposition category were able to solve the algebraic problem from the generalization level, the transformational level until the meta-global level. Students in the medium mathematical disposition category were able to solve the algebraic problem from the generalization level and the transformational level. And students in the low mathematical disposition category were able to solve the algebraic problem only at the the generalization level.

Abstract

Tugas pokok yang diemban oleh seorang guru, tentu tidak berlebihan jika dikatakan bahwa barometer mutu pendidikan vokasi Indonesia ditentukan oleh tingkat kompetensi seorang guru. Identifikasi dan analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendidikan vokasi khususnya bidang teknik dan Teknologi sangat penting. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengelolaan pembelajaran oleh guru SMK bidang keahlian teknologi dan rekayasa. Penilaian Pengelolaan pembelajaran meliputi lima variabel kunci yaitu motivasi kerja, etos kerja, kinerja guru, inovasi manajemen, dan manajemen pembelajaran. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengukuran persamaan struktural. Motivasi kerja memberikan pengaruh positif sebesar 63,9% dan etika kerja sebesar 28,2% terhadap kinerja guru. Motivasi kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap manajemen belajar. Inovasi manajemen tidak berpengaruh sehingga diharapkan pengawas meningkatkan kegiatan inovasi untuk menunjang kinerja guru.

Abstract

Pada awal terjadinya menstruasi, hormon dalam tubuh seorang perempuan masih belum stabil sehingga mereka rentan mengalami gangguan menstruasi.  Masih sedikit laporan mengenai gangguan menstruasi pada siswi dengan disabilitas grahita.  Tujuan: mengetahui gangguan menstruasi, khususnya terkait Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) dan Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), serta jenis bantuan yang diperlukan saat menstruasi pada siswi disabilitas grahita di Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB) di Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY).  Metode: penelitian deskriptif dengan rancangan cross sectional pada 108 siswi disabilitas grahita dari 17 SLB di Provinsi DIY. Data dikumpulkan pada Januari-Maret 2016.  Instrumen berupa kuesioner yang berisi identitas subjek penelitian, riwayat kesehatan, riwayat menstruasi, dan informasi dan bantuan saat menstruasi.  Gejala PMS dan PMDD ditetapkan berdasarkan kriteria American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists dan American Psychiatric Association. Data dianalisis dengan analisis univariat.  Hasil: Rata-rata usia responden adalah 18,03±3,45 tahun.  Sebanyak 7,41% responden mengalami gejala PMS dan 8,33% mengalami gejala PMDD.  Jenis informasi yang paling banyak dibutuhkan adalah mengenai proses terjadinya menstruasi (81,48%). Responden membutuhkan bantuan ketika memakai (22,42%) dan membersihkan pembalut (21,5) saat menstruasi.  Diskusi: Fungsi adaptif pada disabilitas grahita dapat berkontribusi terhadap persentase responden yang mengalami gejala PMS/PMDD sehingga pemberi perawatan perlu melihat perubahan mood dan perilaku yang dialami responden selama siklus menstruasi.  Pemberian informasi mengenai menstruasi dapat dioptimalkan dengan menggunakan media dan metode komunikasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Kesimpulan: Siswi disabilitas grahita, orang tua, maupun guru SLB perlu mengenali gejala PMS dan PMDD sehingga dapat meminimalkan dampaknya dan mengoptimalkan penanganannya.Kata Kunci: gangguan menstruasi, disabilitas grahitaMenstrual Disorders in Students with Mental Disability at Special SchoolsABSTRACTAt the beginning of menstruation, the hormones in a woman's body are still unstable so they are vulnerable to menstrual disorders.  There are still few reports of menstrual disorders from the perspective of students with mental disability. Objective: to reveal menstrual disorders, especially those related to Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), as well as types of assistance needed during menstruation by students with mild mental disability who attend Special Schools (SLB) in Yogyakarta Special Region Province. Methods: This research is descriptive with a cross sectional design. It was conducted on 108 students with mild mental disability who attended 17 special schools in Yogyakarta Province. Data were collected from January 2016 until March 2016 through interview techniques with a questionnaire guide containing identity of research subject, health history, menstruation history, and information and assistance during menstruation.  PMS was determined based on ACOG criteria and PMDD based on DSM-IV. The data were analyzed using univariate analysis. Results: The average age of the respondents was 18.03±3.45. There were 7.41% respondents experienced PMS and 8.33% respondents experienced PMDD.  Most respondents stated that they wanted to know information related to menstruation (96.3%). The type of the most needed information was information about the process of menstruation (81.48%). 22.43% and 21.5% of respondents needed assistance when wearing and cleaning sanitary napkins. Discussion: Adaptive function in mental disabilities could contribute to the percentage of respondents who experience PMS/PMDD symptoms, so care providers need to look at changes in mood and behavior experienced by respondents during the menstrual cycle.  The provision of information about menstruation could be optimized by using media and communication methods that suit the needs.  Conclusion: Students with mild mental disabilities, their parents, and teachers should be able to recognize the symptoms of PMS and PMDD so as to minimize their impact and optimize the treatment.Keywords: menstrual disorders, mental disability

Abstract

An important aspect in education is the teacher and the student. Teachers have a duty in teaching and students have obligations in learning. In the learning process, it is necessary to apply the strategies used by the teacher so that students can understand the material presented. One of the strategies used is learning media. Besides, helping in increasing the understanding of students, learning media also helps in improving the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of learning media to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. The research method is qualitative. The data collection technique is carried out by literature study, namely data collection by reviewing books, literature, notes, and various related reports. Then, the data analysis is done by Miles and Huberman analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained show that the development of learning media is important to improve the critical thinking skills and creativity of vocational students. Simulations, games, and projects are effective solutions for practicing these skills, with simulations providing real experiences, games increasing student interest, and projects allowing students to collaborate on solving complex tasks. Learning media must also be by the interests and needs of vocational students and use relevant technology. Thus, the development of learning media is a critical step in preparing vocational students to face complex future challenges.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aimed to evaluate the feasibility of "Alin Gesit," a Google Sites-based learning media for online accounting computer courses. Using the ADDIE method, we analyzed student and teacher needs, designed and developed the media, and assessed it through expert evaluations and student-teacher feedback. The study involved twelfth-grade accounting students from a vocational school in East Java. Results showed that "Alin Gesit" scored 84% from media experts and 94% from material experts. A paired T-test (p=0.003) confirmed significant improvement in student scores. Additionally, students rated the media highly (3,7), indicating its effectiveness. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan "Alin Gesit", media pembelajaran berbasis Google Sites untuk kursus komputer akuntansi online. Dengan menggunakan metode ADDIE, kami menganalisis kebutuhan siswa dan guru, merancang dan mengembangkan media, dan menilainya melalui evaluasi ahli dan umpan balik siswa-guru. Penelitian ini melibatkan siswa akuntansi kelas dua belas dari sebuah sekolah kejuruan di Jawa Timur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa "Alin Gesit" memperoleh nilai 84% dari ahli media dan 94% dari ahli materi. Uji-T berpasangan (p=0,003) mengkonfirmasi peningkatan signifikan dalam nilai siswa. Selain itu, siswa menilai media tersebut dengan tinggi (3,7), yang menunjukkan keefektifannya.
