Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused schools to migrate towards digital for the delivery of information in order to support the teaching process. SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta has problems in managing digital media so the management of school information systems still overlaps in its distribution. This causes the dissemination of information to be not simultaneous and not centered on one door. The problems are often around the unclear information due to message distortion in the communication coding process which causes the message to be not well received by the audience. This study aims to design and manage a multimedia-based public relations strategy to be applied in SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta which will later be useful in managing information media used by schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study model. The data was gathered through field observations, structured interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta needs a digital media management model that is more creative and interactive so that it can make it easier for teachers to transfer school knowledge and information.

Abstract

This research stems from researchers interested in the creative market in the city of Metro Lampung which can inspire many people with social media so that many people come to study and travel. Of course, researchers have a goal in research, namely to find out and describe what marketing communication strategies are carried out by the umbrella market in building an image as a creative market in Metro City. The research method in this study is phenomenological research which is carried out when researchers want to understand a phenomenon from a different point of view, for example from the point of view of certain individuals or groups who experience it. The data obtained in the study to determine the marketing communication strategy of the Payungi market was by using in-depth interviews, documentation and also observations of the location, the initiators of the Umbrella market, the chairman of the Umbrella market and also the seller in the Umbrella market who served as informants and tested the validity of the data. The results of this study prove that the communication strategy carried out by the umbrella market is based on marketing communication theory, namely advertising, public relations, sales promotion, events and experience, and direct sales. The researcher also recommends that marketing should be propagated through other media such as print media, newspapers, radio, billboards, banners to make it easier for the wider community who are still not familiar with social media.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the marketing strategy of the SMP Negri 4 Surakarta in maintaining good communication with the stakeholders. This descriptive qualitative research uses interviews and observations to gain the data. This research is also exploratory because it seeks to explore the right multimedia-based public relations strategy for managing information media at SMP Negeri 4 of Surakarta. Field findings show that a lack of human resource literacy in managing school information media causes problems in the less-than-optimal organizational system or management of school information media. Based on the first year of research findings, the Inflorescence Model describes the flow of school information media management. The researchers use purposive sampling to pick individuals who are knowledgeable about SMP Negeri 4 Surakarta's marketing strategy, digital media management, and public relations. School administrators, instructors, public relations officers, and other relevant stakeholders may be included. Researchers transcribed interviews, organized observation notes, and documented data before identifying reoccurring themes and patterns in the data. Researchers will code the data by methodically identifying and categorizing information relevant to the research aims. Researchers will examine the data after it has been coded, looking for relationships, connections, and insights. To assure the legitimacy and integrity of the outcomes, researchers may compare findings from different participants and data sources. The analysis's findings will be reported in a research paper or report arranged around main themes, findings, and conclusions. The result of this study is that the marketing public relations strategies in maintaining good communication with its stakeholders are preparing modules for teachers, school managers, and readers to build, develop, and promote the management of structured digital-based school media and fostering literacy rates in schools. Another strategy step is to implement an evaluation system from the information media to identify existing deficiencies and make improvements in the future. Push, Pull, and Pass strategy approaches and digital marketing tools are also used to implement the strategy and maintain good stakeholder communication.

Abstract

The study aims to find the most effective Integrated Marketing Communication strategy for increasing brand recognition in the Solo Art Market. This study focuses on understanding target audiences' requirements and preferences and the most successful channels and techniques for reaching them. It also investigates the function of storytelling and emotional appeal in developing brand recognition for solo artists. This research is qualitative applied research, which tries to address issues such that the research results may be utilized to benefit individuals or organizations as well as for industrial goals, and it focuses on items whose outcomes can be applied to present and future situations. According to the study's findings, the Solo Art Market's Integrated Marketing Communication approach is a solid platform for raising brand recognition in the community. Due to the absence of instruments employed by Solo Art Market to reach a larger market, Solo Art Market's brand awareness is limited to brand recognition. Brand awareness is the amount of brand awareness that requires help, such as a brand list, image list, or brand stamp. Due to brand recognition, consumers need assistance with the items on sale; yet, Solo Art Market's ingenuity in developing appealing messaging can increase public brand awareness of the market's presence.

Abstract

MG Setos Hotel Semarang is facing a variety of obstacles to survive in the midst of the new normal conditions induced by the COVID-19 epidemic. Travel constraints, health concerns, and social isolation have all contributed to a considerable drop in overnight visitors. This has the potential to damage the hotel's revenue and financial stability. Hotels must maintain a high level of service and visitor experience despite current constraints. A hotel's reputation can benefit from providing good service throughout the new normal. As a result, it is critical for the management of MG Setos Hotel Semarang to plan ahead of time and innovate in order to address the challenges that have arisen. The purpose of this study is to determine how MGSetos Hotel Semarang can boost brand recognition by using the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) approach. This study employs qualitative research methods such as interviews, observations, and documentation to acquire data. The triangulation of sources, procedures, and time ensures the veracity of the data employed. According to the research findings, MGSetos Hotel Semarang has created an integrated marketing communication plan to improve brand awareness, however its implementation has been subpar. Using this method can raise hotel brand awareness in the community even if it is not presently at the forefront of people's minds. This study has substantial practical implications for hospitality firms operating in unpredictable times.

Abstract

Political image can be formed through the use of various media. Social media that now become a trend can be utilized by political actor to support success of ongoing activities or simply just to increase popularity. While forming political image, a political actor can present their personal branding through social media. Using qualitative descriptive methods and theory by Peter Montoya, author applying 8 laws of the formation of personal branding such as: specialization, leadership, personality, distinctiveness, visibility, unity, persistence, and goodwill to analyze how Gibran’s personal branding forms his political image. Gibran fulfilled all the laws of forming personal branding dan show improvement result of his political image based on additional data from author’s independent survey.

Abstract

Dalam era persaingan bisnis yang semakin ketat dan munculnya berbagai coffee shop di Indonesia Mossa Coffee diharapkan mampu bersaing dengan kompetitor lainnya. Namun, untuk bertahan dan sukses dalam pasar yang kompetitif ini, Mossa Coffee perlu mengembangkan Brand Awareness yang kuat dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi dan menganalisis efektifitas strategi Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) dalam meningkatkan Brand Awareness Mossa Coffee. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data akan dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan survey terhadap masyarakat yang datang mengunjungi Mossa Coffee. Data akan dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi praktik terbaik dan hambatan yang dihadapi oleh Mossa Coffee dalam upaya meningkatkan Brand Awareness-nya. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan akan memberi wawasan mendalam tentang bagaimana strategi IMC diterapkan dan memengaruhi Brand Awareness Mossa Coffee. Penelitian ini akan membantu menggambarkan praktik dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh Mossa Coffee dalam upaya membangun Brand Awareness yang kuat. Temuan penelitian ini akan memiliki potensi untuk menjadi panduan bagi pemilik Mossaa Coffee dan praktisi pemasaran dalam memperbaiki strategi mereka.

Abstract

Sekolah Alam merupakan salah satu lembaga pendidikan alternatif di Indonesia. Dalam pendidikan, Sekolah Alam merupakan salah satu konsep baru yang mengedepankan alam sebagai sumber inspirasi bagi peserta didik. Berkaitan dengan kurangnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai konsep Sekolah Alam, maka diperlukan strategi komunikasi pemasaran yang tepat untuk memperkenalkan dan memberikan informasi mengenai lembaga pendidikan Sekolah Alam Tondo Lino. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan Strategi Integrated Marketing Communication Sekolah Alam Tondo Lino Untuk Membangun Brand Awareness. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik Mixed Methods untuk menguatkan data di lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa strategi Word of Wouth Marketing merupakan metode yang paling berdampak pada peningkatan brand awareness. Hal ini karena masyarakat dapat mengetahui dengan baik tentang produk yang ditawarkan, didukung dengan eratnnya hubungan silaturahmi masyarakat Desa/Ngata Toro sehingga memudahkan penyebaran informasi terkait konsep Sekolah Alam Tondo Lino kepada masyarakat atau khalayak sasaran. Dalam implementasinya, kendala utama pada proses pemasaran adalah sumber daya manusia dan ketersediaan jaringan internet tidak memadai, maka perlu membuat dasar pemasaran yang terarah guna mencapai tujuan pemasaran

Abstract

Competition in the industrial sector is getting tighter, but on the other hand, there is an imbalance in the increase in visit numbers. Business competition is a challenge and threat to survival. Lokananta Surakarta carries out several strategies because this has a crucial role in encouraging an increase in the number of visitors. This research is a qualitative descriptive research, with data collection methods using interviews and observation. The aim of carrying out this research is to find out and explain the promotional mix strategy used by Lokananta Surakarta to increase the number of local tourists. The results of this research show that there is a promotional mix used to increase visitors, namely advertising, sales, direct marketing, sales promotions and public relations. Sales promotion activities carried out include discounts, packages and merchandise which most persuade people to be more interested in visiting.

Abstract

Human existence is inseparable from its dependence on water. As an essential element of life, water has gradually evolved into an economic asset with significant social and political impacts. Disparities in natural resource management often lead to conflicts due to differences in interpretation and distribution policies. This is evident in the conflict between Perumda Air Minum Kota Surakarta and Klaten Regency over the management of the Cokro spring. This study aims to identify and describe the crisis management efforts by the Public Relations department of Regional Drinking Water Company of Surakarta City in this conflict, focusing on the supporting and hindering factors. The research employs an exploratory and descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that negotiation was the primary method used to address the crisis. The process involved four stages: preparation, sharing, bargaining, and closure. Regional Drinking Water Company of Surakarta City adopted a collaborative negotiation strategy, offering a Corporate Social Responsibility program to benefit the Cokro village community. Despite undergoing various conflict resolution stages such as negotiation, conciliation, mediation, and arbitration, the conflict remains unresolved due to challenges like administrative differences, policy discrepancies, and conflicting interests. Eksistensi manusia tidak dapat terpisah dari ketergantungan terhadap air. Sebagai salah satu elemen esensial kehidupan, air secara bertahap telah berkembang menjadi aset ekonomi yang memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap aspek sosial serta politik. Kesenjangan pengelolaan sumber daya alam sering kali memicu konflik akibat perbedaan interpretasi dan kebijakan distribusi. Hal tersebut terlihat pada konflik yang terjadi pada Perumda Air Minum Kota Surakarta dengan Kabupaten Klaten mengenai pengelolaan mata air Cokro. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mendeskripsikan manajemen krisis yang dilakukan Humas Perumda Air Minum Kota Surakarta dalam konflik pengelolaan mata air Cokro, termasuk faktor pendukung dan penghambat pada proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif eksploratif dan deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memaparkan bahwa dalam penyelesaian krisis dipergunakan negosiasi. Proses negosiasi yang dilakukan menerapkan 4 tahapan yaitu, tahap persiapan, berbagi, tawar menawar dan penutup. Dalam proses negosiasi, Perumda Air Minum Kota Surakarta mengadopsi strategi negosiasi collaborative, dengan memberikan program Corporate Social Responsibility sebagai bentuk alternative dan untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat Desa Cokro. Setelah melalui berbagai tahapan resolusi konflik, seperti negosiasi, konsiliasi, mediasi, dan arbitrase, resolusi konflik ini belum mencapai final karena tantangan seperti perbedaan administratif, kebijakan, dan kepentingan kontradiktif.
