Abstract

Abstract Pelton turbines are widely used for micro scale power plants, this research aims to study the performance of pelton turbines with blades from L bow paralon material used for power generation. The equipment used is a pelton turbine, turbine blade is made of paralon material with a width of 2.5 cm and a length of 8 cm and a height of 1.25 cm. runner diameter is 35 cm with a number of 8 blades and 16 blades. The study was carried out by varying the number of blades and the angle of blades and the flow rate with pump pressure with a slope angle of 750 and 900 and water pressure of 0.9 bar, 1.5 bar and 1.8 bar. To produce electricity, the turbine is connected to the alternator, the measurement of the power generated by the turbine is done by measuring the voltage and current generated by the generator. Pelton turbine with 8 blades with 1.8 bar pump pressure with 750 blades produces 7,343 watts of power with an efficiency of 87.18%, at an angle of 900 produces 7,06 watts of power and an efficiency of 89.11%. On the 16 blades with a pressure of 1.8 bar with an angle of 750 produces a power of 7.7418 watts with an efficiency of 91.98% and at a blade angle of 900 the power produced is 7.886 watts with an efficiency of 93.62%. So the greater the pump pressure and the greater the number of blades and blades, the greater the power and rotation of the turbine produced.

Abstract

Banyak manfaat yang dapat dirasakan dari penggunaan gawai berbasis Android, seperti pendidikan, e-commerce, dan seni. Namun tidak sedikit juga permasalahan yang ditimbulkan seperti kecanduan, dan tindakan penipuan. Lemahnya pengawasan dan kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua dalam mengawasi aktivitas anak menggunakan gawai menjadi salah satu pemicu aktivitas anak yang berlebih. Salah satu upaya untuk mengawasi aktivitas anak dalam penggunaan gawai yaitu dengan menggunakan layanan Google Link Family. Aplikasi ini dapat memanajmen screen time, aplikasi yang diperbolehkan dan lokasi keberadaan anak selama menggunakan gawai. Pengabdian menyasar komunitas Blogger Bengkulu karena memiliki potensi untuk menyebarkan lebih luas informasi penting dan berguna bagi masyarakat melalui media internet. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam lima tahap, yaitu diskusi program, penyuluhan, pelatihan, penerapan program, dan evaluasi program. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan pemahaman yang baik dari para peserta dalam menggunakan aplikasi Google Family Link. Dengan menggunakan pengujian usability dengan metode System Usabilty Scale (SUS) didapatkan nilai 71,5 dengan predikat Baik

Abstract

This research is about Characterization of Metal and Ceramic Brace Brackets in Artificial Saliva Solution. The shape of teeth in humans is different, some are neat and some are not. With the times, the problem of untidy teeth can be fixed using braces / braces. Nowadays, the use of braces / braces is not only for straightening teeth but for lifestyle and to support a more attractive and attractive appearance. Braces consist of brackets and curved wires. Braces brackets can be made from a variety of materials, for example: metals, ceramics and composites. This study was directed to determine the biocompatible properties of the bracket in the body by looking at the elemental content after immersion with a solution of saliva (artificial saliva) for approximately 4 weeks. The results of the hardness examination showed an increase between before and after immersion. The chemical composition examination using XRD (X-Ray Diffraction) has not shown any significant changes between the materials before and after immersion. XRD results show that there are no corrosive materials or other hazardous materials on the surface of the braces bracket material.

Abstract

E-commerce has recently become a place that is in great demand by consumers to shop. In general, e-commerce is a term used to describe the sale of goods and services via the internet. Among the many e-commerce services in Indonesia, one of them is JD.id. This research aims to look at the IT services used by JD.id previously by looking at the processes of domain service operations with the ITIL V3 framework and finding out the extent of management of the IT services used by JD.id before JD.id closed. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method and the assessment of the results of this research is based on the answers to the questionnaire given to respondents using a Likert scale. The sample taken was 100 people who were JD.id users. The data sources obtained in this research are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis carried out was calculating the Maturity Level of the Service Operation subdomain. The results of the research obtained the lowest value, namely the problem management variable with a value of 3.70, meaning that the JD.id marketplace is still not very optimal in terms of preventing incidents from occurring and there is no permanent improvement process and is not very optimal in terms of continuous service improvement. However, the overall maturity level (Maturity Level) on average is at level 4 with a score of 3.97 this means that the IT service processes in the JD.id marketplace have been planned and implemented well and consistently, but automation with the information technology tools used is limited.

Abstract

Roll Forming Machine adalah produk teknis yang mengintegrasikan teknologi mekanik. Mesin ini menggunakan teknologi canggih dan sangat meningkatkan efisiensi produk. Alat ini dapat secara otomatis melokalisasi, menjepit, menyesuaikan, mengeroll, mengangkut hingga menyelesaikan pekerjaan. Mode otomatis dari jalur ini sangat menghemat biaya pembuatan, dan mesin ini menggunakan metode bending Roll Forming. Metode ini adalah proses bending yang menggunakan Up Roller dan Driven Roller yang berputar menggulirkan plat sehingga terbentuklah profil dan kelengkungan benda kerja. Dari metode Roll Forming akan didapatkan hasil dengan radius yang masih cukup besar. Standar radius pada alat ini yaitu dengan ukuran 9000mm.Jika ingin memperkecil ukuran radius maka diperlukan proses pengulangan bending (Rebending). Dengan proses Rebending maka diperlukan lagi waktu untuk pengecilan ukuran radius yang diinginkan.Cepat lambatnya proses Rebending tergantung dari bebrapa langkah yang akan dilakukan dalam menurunkan radius yang diinginkan.dengan variasi jarak penurunan up roller 3mm dan 4mm tentu akan membuat waktu pengerjaan yang berbeda. Dari variasi jarak penurunan up roll tersebut menghasilkan kurva perbandingan pengerjaan waktu total. Jarak penurunan up roller 3mm meghasilkan waktu 16,01 menit sedangkan jarak penurunan up roller 4mm lebih cepat yaitu 13,59 menit.

Abstract

PT. Pertamina (Persero) Refinery Unit III (RU III) is one of the Refinery Unit Pertamina that it main activity is process crude oil and intermediate product (Alkylfeed, HSDC,slop oil, LOMC, Long residue, Raw PP) into finished product. One of the important tools is Centrifugal Compressor (CENTAX CC 700 MX 3HP). The problem in the compressor is temperature of the fluida is increase but it pressure is decrease.To solve this problem, sandblasting and coating is used in inspection stage. The result from the inspection was compressor had a leak because the O ring was not functioning optimally and the surface was eroded To overcome this matter, coating is done to prevent the compressor surface from corrosion and replacing the O ring according to size.

Abstract

Analysis of Fuel Consumption in Volvo ADT A35C Heavy Equipment 45 In terms of the effect of nozzle damage at PT Firman Ketaun. One of the components contained in the Volvo ADT A35C 45, which affects the combustion system is the injector, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause damage to the Volvo ADT A35C 45 nozzle on fuel consumption. This study uses an injector tester to check fuel fogging, then to calculate fuel consumption where data collection is carried out before the nozzle component is replaced and after the replacement is made. For good fogging of the nozzle components where changes have been made, the pressure is 260-270 bar but In the data from the results of the condensation process, it was found that at the lowest pressure on the old 4 nozzle test, where the pressure was 220-230 bar and bad fogging occurred thirst for the nozzle components, and the highest pressure was obtained in the old 6 nozzle test, where the holes were clogged due to crust on nozzle surface. From these data, it is also found that the difference in fuel consumption of 0.64 liters, multiplied by the length of time operating in ± 250 months (working hours) x Rp. 7,680.00 (costs saved per hour) is Rp1,920,000.00. If multiplied by one year / 12 months, the company will save IDR 23,040,000.00. Then if it is multiplied by the total Volvo ADT A35C units operating at pt Firman per year as many as ± 23 units, the company can save fuel consumption costs for one year, namely Rp.529,920,000.00

Abstract

Gas and Steam Power Plant (PLTGU) is a power plant that utilizes heat from the exhaust gas turbine gas to produce steam which is used as the working fluid of the steam turbine. The components of the PLTGU need to be maintained regularly so that the components can work properly and reduce the risk of damage to these components. Maintenance is an activity carried out to prevent things that are not desirable, such as damage too quickly to the components at the plant. Maintenance of the gas turbine PLTGU shampooing unit is carried out on a time-based basis consisting of combustion inspection (CI), hot gas path inspection (HGPI), and major inspection (MI). Combustion inspection is carried out when the unit has been operating for 8,000 hours. From the results of the inspection carried out on the gas turbine unit of the PLTGU, it was found that several components of the combustion section were damaged. These components are fuel nozzle, cross fire, and combustion liner.

Abstract

Boiling is one of the main factors that determine the success of the palm oil production process. Palm oil processing mills obtain Crude Palm Oil (CPO) through a boiling process at the sterilizer station to separate loose fruit and empty fruit, which will then be pressed into CPO. Boiling at the sterilizer station used is saturated steam with a pressure of 1.5-3 bar which is injected from the back pressure vessel (BPV). The selected boiling system is always adjusted to the ability to provide steam at the boiler station that produces steam. In this case, the supply of steam is considered sufficient, so that the boiling system used is the Triple Peak system, and the boiling time is ± 90 minutes.
