Pandemi Covid yang melanda dunia termasuk Indonesia sekitar tahun 2019 berdampak bidang pendidikan. Sejak berlakunyakebijakan pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring, mengarahkan siswa untuk lebih intens berinteraksi dengan gawai. Terjadi peningkatan penggunaan gawai pada anak khususnya smartphone. Meningkatnya intensitas penggunaan smartphone dikhawatirkan akan mempengaruhi terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin anak atau siswa.Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data yang valid serta menguji pengaruh Intensitas Penggunaan Smartphone Terhadap Pembentukan Karakter Disiplin Siswa Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan berasal dari peserta didik kelas V-VI dari dua Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu di Kabupaten Garut berjumlah 90 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara, dan kuesioner. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan skala likert. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan melalui uji t, uji f, dan koefisien determinan atau R Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara parsial intensitas penggunaan smartphone terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa sekolah dasar islam terpadu. Secara simultan intensitas penggunaan smartphone berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa sekolah dasar islam terpadu.Â AbstractThe Covid pandemic that hit the world including Indonesia around 2019 had an impact on the education sector. Since the enactment of the policy, learning is done online, directing students to interact more intensely with devices. There has been an increase in the use of devices in children, especially smartphones. It is feared that the increased intensity of smartphone use will affect the formation of the disciplinary character of children or students. The aims of this study were to obtain valid data and examine the effect of smartphone use intensity on the Disciplinary Character Formation of Integrated Islamic Elementary School Students. This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The sample used came from students in class V-VI from two Integrated Islamic Elementary Schools in Garut Regency totaling 90 respondents. Collecting data using observation, literature study, interviews, and questionnaires. The research instrument uses a Likert scale. The hypothesis test is used through the t test, f test, and the determinant coefficient or R Square. The results showed that there was a positive and significant effect partially on the intensity of smartphone use on the formation of the disciplinary character of integrated Islamic elementary school students. Simultaneously the intensity of smartphone use has a significant effect on the formation of the disciplinary character of integrated Islamic elementary school students.Â

Di era digital saat ini, akses dan pemahaman tentang literasi digital menjadi kunci untuk mengatasi ketidaksetaraan dalam akses pendidikan, pekerjaan, dan ekonomi. Desa Sirnagalih, sebuah komunitas pedesaan di Kecamatan Bayongbong Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat, menghadapi tantangan dalam mengadopsi teknologi digital. Program literasi digital melalui seminar menjadi solusi yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menggunakan internet secara sehat dan produktif. Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik 2023 Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut, bertujuan memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat Desa Sirnagalih khususnya Kampung Babakan dan Depok dalam bentuk pengetahuan atau edukasi dan kegiatan seminar yang bertema tentang Berkembang Cerdas, Aman dan Membangun Kemampuan Literasi Digital. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan program literasi digital melalui edukasi ke sekolah dan seminar dalam upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat Kampung Babakan Depok Desa Sirnagalih dalam memanfaatkan internet yang cerdas aman secara umum mendapat tanggapan positif.

Problems related to population administration and civil registration, such as identity falsification and duplicate data due to lack of accurate details of population data documents, the process of obtaining a Population Identity Card and issuing a civil registration certificate still takes a long time because the data input process is still done manually. In this regard, the Garut Regency government, in this case the Tarogong Kaler District, is trying to collect valid population data so that it can develop mapping to overcome this problem. Currently there is an information system that makes it easier to provide services for creating and issuing resident document certificates, namely by implementing a website-based integrated administration service system or PATENT. This research aims to analyze Effectiveness of the Integrated Administrative Information System (PATEN) in Public Service. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research with four informants. Data collection techniques start from direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the community can enjoy the quality of services provided in Tarogong Kaler District. This can be seen from several things. The reliability dimension can be seen from the district operators who are reliable in providing services to the community. The responsiveness dimension related to the ability to respond is said to be good if the PATENT system has immediate disruption. can be overcome by not reducing services to the community. The obstacles are that the availability of human resources is still insufficient, as well as the need for socialization to the community about understanding the system.

Virtual reality tour is a technology that allows users to interact with the virtual world, which is a visualization of the real environment presented online. in the field of education this technology can be used to introduce schools by providing visual experiences including being able to see locations with a 360o view, the use of Virtual Reality Tour technology can be used as a solution as a supporting technology for promotion and introduction at a school. With the Virtual Reality Tour users can see by not coming directly to the School. To build a Web-Based School Introduction Virtual Reality Tour Application implements the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development method with six stages, namely concept, design, material collection, manufacture, testing, and distribution. This research produces a web-based school introduction virtual reality tour application. Beta testing obtained results in accordance with expectations. As well as testing the results of beta testing using the usability testing method with a total of 20 respondents who produced a score of 4.52, this includes very good measured on a scale of 1 to 5.

Desa Mekarjaya Kecamatan Tarogong Kaler berada di zona hijau. Status zona hijau membuat kesadaran masyarakat terhadap protokol kesehatan rendah, dapat dilihat dari masih banyak masyarakat yang tidak mengenakan masker saat keluar rumah, ketika berkerumun tidak menjaga jarak. Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik 2020 Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Garut, bertujuan untuk mensukseskan Program Relawan Desa Lawan Covid-19 yaitu memberikan kontribusi dalam upaya pencegahan Coronavirus melalui peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat dengan memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat, mulai gejala, cara penularan, dan pencegahan sesuai protokol kesehatan dan standar World Health Organization. Upaya tersebut dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan mulai dai mengidentifikasi masalah, peningkatan kapasitas dengan beberapa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan serta evaluasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap implementasi protokol kesehatan secara umum telah berjalan sesuai dengan prosedur yang ditetapkan pemerintah.

Potensi di bidang perairan, bidang pertanian, dan bidang usaha juga fasilitas untuk protokol kesehatan sudah dimiliki oleh Desa Karangsari. Namun, masyarakat belum cukup baik dalam memanfaatkan potensi serta fasilitas tersebut. Hal ini dikarenakan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat masih kurang. Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik Daring 2021 Institut Teknologi Garut, bertujuan untuk memberikan kontribusi dalam memberdayakan masyarakat di masa pandemi covid-19 dengan memberikan pengetahuan atau edukasi melalui kegiatan seminar yang dilaksanakan secara online, yang bertema tentang pentingnya menjaga protokol kesehatan, pembangunan infrastruktur yang tepat dan pemanfaatan peluang usaha. Upaya tersebut dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan dimulai dari mengidentifikasi masalah, peningkatan kapasitas melalui beberapa pelayanan webinar yang dilaksanakan serta evaluasi. Hasil pembahasan menunjukan bahwa kegiatan memberdayakan masyarakat dalam upaya peningkatan pengetahuan dan memberikan edukasi melalui kegiatan webinar secara umum mendapatkan tanggapan yang positif.

One of the main challenges in environmental governance in rural areas today is the management of organic waste. In Garut Regency, Cipaganti Village, located in Cisurupan District, produces a significant amount of organic waste from household and agricultural activities. When not properly managed, accumulated organic waste can pollute the environment, cause foul odors, and become a source of disease. To address this issue, the biopore infiltration technique was introduced as an environmentally friendly method that not only enhances water absorption but also supports waste reduction. This study aims to utilize biopores in organic waste management as a sustainable mitigation effort in Cipaganti Village, Cisurupan District, Garut Regency. The research employed a participatory approach involving village officials, community groups (RISMET), and local residents. Activities included coordination, field observation, community outreach and education, direct implementation of biopores, as well as monitoring and evaluation. The results indicate that biopores are effective in reducing household organic waste, improving soil water absorption, and producing compost beneficial for local agriculture. The program was well received by the community due to its simplicity, low cost, and ease of implementation. Therefore, the use of biopores in Cipaganti Village has the potential to become a sustainable solution for organic waste management, water conservation, and raising public awareness about the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness.
