Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and describe the independent learning curriculum management model at Manado State University. Independent learning curriculum management is a form of curriculum management with the stages of planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. The results of the study show that the independent curriculum management model at Manado State University has been implemented according to management functions, namely planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Of the nine study programs sampled that met the requirements, there were four study programs with a curriculum management model that were close to fulfilling the management function, although there were system constraints that were not yet available regarding the synchronization of courses between study programs and menus for MBKM contracts. In addition, the constraints related to human resources are still low knowledge about the implementation of independent curriculum management and the low interest of students to participate in MBKM activities

Abstract

Sekolah sebagai lingkungan belajar formal memiliki tanggung jawab dalam pembentuk civic disposition siswa ditengah kemajuan iptek yang begitu pesat. Penenlitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan tentang optimalisasi manajemen sekolah sebagai lingkungan belajar dalam pembentukan civic disposition di SMA Katolik Karitas Tomohon. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Sumber data adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, siswa dan orang tua.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa  pengoptimalisasian manajemen sekolah sebagai lingkungan belajar dalam bembentukan civic dispositon di sekolah terlaksana melalui kegiatan di dalam kelas dan luar kelas yaitu dalam pembelajaran yang menanamkan nilai-nilai Pancasila dan pembiasaan penanaman nilai-nilai karakter nasionalisme dan religius pada kegiatan ibadah pagi, upacara bendera, serta ekstrakurikuler. Selanjutnya faktor pendukung dalam pengoptimalisasian tersebut adalah sistem sekolah, fasilitias sekolah, koordinasi serta kerjasama yang baik antar guru mata pelajaran dan pembimbing, serta adanya RPP. Namun dalam pelaksanaanya ditemukan factor penghambat yaitu rendahnya motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa dalam kegiatan di luar kelas, dan kurangnya pengalaman atau contoh nyata dalam lingkungan keseharian yang dimanfaatkan guru sebagai media pembelajaran dalam proses pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Optimalisasi manajemen sekolah sebagai lingkungan belajar dalam pembentukan civic disposition di SMA Katolik Karitas Tomohon belum berjalan secara maksimal.

Abstract

This study aims to get an overview of the strengthening of the character of integrity in SMA N 1 Moronge, where the strengthening of the character of integrity in the school environment and outside the school environment has differences. So what happens is that there are still some students who have not applied the character of integrity that exists in these students. Such as still violating school rules, not respecting the differences between fellow friends, acting rudely to both friends and teachers and not respecting every direction given by the teacher. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation with school principals, Civics subject teachers and students in the Moronge 1 State High School environment. Based on the results of research conducted by researchers, it has been seen that the principal and Civics subject teachers have made various efforts to strengthen the character of integrity to students in the school environment. Namely by providing guidance, direction, and approaches to students so that students have good character or attitude
