Abstract

The students’ skill in exploring creative ideas in writing is a problem that needs to be taken seriously. This happens because of the students’ lack of creative thinking in exploring some ideas in words. The purpose of this research was to examine the effects of experiential learning model on primary school students’ creative thinking skill. The method used quasi-experimental of non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research was a group of fourth grader students of Sekolah Dasar Labschool UPI (Labschool UPI Primary School) in total of 47 students and divided in to two separate classes, which were an experimental class and a control class. The results of this research revealed significant contrasts in post-test between an experimental class and a control class. The results concluded that the experiential learning model has significant effects on primary school students’ creative thinking skill. Therefore, the experiential learning model is one of the solutions for teacher to develop students’ creative thinking skill, especially in writing from the aspects of flexibility, fluency, originality and elaboration. Moreover, the outcome ideas were diverse, expressive and comprehensible.

Abstract

The quality of learning is determined by learning activities. This research aims to determine the implementation of distance learning (PJJ) for lower classes at SDN IV Samarang with the aim of maintaining the quality of learning, including: 1. To find out learning planning; 2. To find out the implementation of learning; 3. To find out learning evaluation. The benefit of this research is to increase scientific insight and a clearer theoretical/conceptual framework regarding the implementation of distance learning with the aim of maintaining the quality of learning. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with document analysis research type. Participants were lower grade teachers, lower grade students, and parents of lower grade students. Data collection was carried out by analyzing documents, observations and interviews. Data analysis/processing is carried out by describing the state of the content/material, and looking for a presentation of the quality of learning through the learning outcomes of lower class students in the form of pie charts in the implementation of distance learning. Based on the results of research carried out by researchers, it can be concluded that: 1. The learning planning that was made before carrying out learning activities in PJJ was very good, this is proven by the learning planning that meets the four elements that must be present in learning planning, namely; (1) there are goals that must be achieved, (2) there are strategies to achieve the goals, (3) resources that can support and, (4) implementation of each decision. 2. Implementation of distance learning, for the successful implementation of learning is good enough based on the learning components that have been implemented and are interrelated, including: (1) teachers, (2) students, (3) learning materials, (4) learning methods, ( 5) learning media, and (6) learning evaluation. 3. Evaluation of distance learning has been sufficiently implemented in involving five evaluation principles and elements including schools, parents, the environment and society at large. As well as learning results which are shown with a score of 0 – 50, the percentage of Thematic, Mathematics and B. Sundanese scores obtained a percentage of 42%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze educational workforce innovation in developing teacher professionalism at SDN 3 Sukajaya and to identify the challenges faced in its implementation. Teacher professionalism is an essential factor in improving the quality of education because teachers play a strategic role in the learning process and in shaping students' character. Therefore, innovative efforts in managing educational personnel are necessary to help teachers improve their competencies and adapt to the dynamic development of education. This research employed a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The data sources consisted of primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the principal and teachers, while secondary data were collected from school documents related to teacher professional development programs. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis through the processes of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that educational workforce innovations implemented at SDN 3 Sukajaya include the organization of regular training and workshops for teachers, the utilization of technology in the learning process, and the establishment of a teacher professional development team. These innovations aim to enhance teachers’ competencies, performance, and professionalism in conducting the learning process. However, several challenges were identified in the implementation, including limited educational facilities and infrastructure, resistance from some teachers to changes, limited time for teachers to participate in professional development activities, and the lack of continuous evaluation of development programs. In conclusion, educational workforce innovation plays an important role in supporting the development of teacher professionalism. However, it requires adequate resources, teachers’ readiness to adapt to change, and a sustainable evaluation system to ensure its optimal implementation.
