Abstract

Gagasan program modernisasi pendidikan islam mempunyai akar-akarnya tentang modernisasi pemikiran dan institusi Islam secara keseluruhan. Dengan kata lain, modernisasi pendidikan Islam tidak bisa dipisahkan dengan gagasan dan program modernisasi islam. Kerangka dasar yang berada di balik modernisasi Islam secara keseluruhan adalah modernisasi pemikiran dan kelembagaan Islam merupakan persyaratan bagi kebangkitan kaum Muslimin di masa modern. Karena itu, pemikiran dan kelembagaan Islam termasuk pendidikan haruslah dimodernisasi, sederhananya harus disesuaikan dengan kerangka modernitas, mempertahankan kelembagaan Islam tradisional hanya akan memperpanjang nestapa ketidakberdayaan kaum muslim dalam berhadapan dengan kemajuan dunia modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelajahi latar belakang historis modernisasi pendidikan Islam melalui studi pustaka. Dalam mengupas perjalanan modernisasi pendidikan Islam, studi ini menggunakan metodologi penelitian studi pustaka yang mencakup pencarian, seleksi, dan analisis literatur yang relevan. Pencarian literatur dilakukan melalui basis data akademik dan perpustakaan online dengan kata kunci yang sesuai. Selanjutnya, literatur yang relevan dievaluasi dan disintesis untuk mengidentifikasi tren, konsep, dan perspektif yang muncul dalam perkembangan pendidikan Islam dalam era modernisasi. Hasil kajian ini memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang peran dan dinamika modernisasi dalam perkembangan pendidikan Islam serta memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk penelitian lebih lanjut dalam bidang ini. Studi ini merupakan kontribusi penting dalam merespons tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi pendidikan Islam di era kontemporer.

Abstract

Badruddin Muhammad Ibn Ibrahim Ibn Sa'ad Allah Ibn Jama'ah Shakhr Ibn Ibn Hazim Abd Allah ibn al-Kinany or distinguished by Ibn Jamaah is one of the leaders of Islamic education who have brilliant ideas. Thought studies listed in his book al-Sami Tadzkirat wa al-Mutakallim fi Adab wa al-Alim al-Muta'allim. Thought education is very relevant to today's modern education, one of which is on ethics for teachers in the learning process. One of his thoughts on the ethics of teachers was that a teacher should not be dependent on the results of the teaching profession. This is because science is taught by a teacher is very precious so it is not worth doing. This Research will be focused on the notion of Ibn Jama'ah concerning the ethics teacher. This problem is interesting to study because of the current problems faced by teachers are increasingly complex. The method used is qualitatively using content analysis to analyze how the ideas of Ibn Jamaah regarding this. This research included a literature review that examines the book he wrote. This study shows that thinking about ethics teacher by Ibn Jama'ah according to very relevant to modern education such as the need for teachers to have a consistent attitude, boost performance for work (dynamic), love science, forward to obtain excellent generation, and so forth. Kata kunci: Ibn Jamaah, etika guru, pendidikan Islam

Abstract

Personality is the element that determines the interaction of educators with students as role models, educators must have personalities that can be used as profiles and idols. To examine the personality of educators, it is necessary to examine the previous scholars, because it is undeniable that there are not a few contributions given by the previous scholars, especially in the world of education, one of which is Sa'id Hawwa. The objectives of this research are. 1) To analyze the personality competencies of educators according to Sa'id Hawwa. 2) To analyze the relevance of the personality competencies of educators according to Sa'id Hawwa with contemporary Islamic education. In this research, the approach used is a qualitative approach with the type of character study research with two stages, namely inventory and critical evaluation. The data collection instrument in this study was documentation in the form of books by Sa'id Hawwa related to this research. The results show that 1) The personality competencies of educators according to Sa'id Hawwa are understanding, sincere, guiding the community, jihad/sincere, willing to sacrifice, obedient, consistent, brotherly/ukhuwah, honest, committed and intelligent. 2) The relevance of the personality competencies of educators according to Sa'id Hawwa with contemporary Islamic education is appropriate, even though the personality competencies of educators are contained in the Law on Educators and Lecturers No. 14 of 2005 which is intended for the public and decided nationally and is not based on Islam, but contains very Islamic values
